Great location and good air conditioning! The staff was mostly outstanding, especially the lady in the breakfast room and the concierge.

The newly remodeled rooms were too modern and somewhat sterile. I was expecting old world charm and they made it look like any modern hotel. Also, the tv went out and the staff seemed unable to fix it and a bit dismissive. They did credit our breakfasts but not having the tv was disappointing.

Gum doesn’t have weights - website suggests otherwise. TV didn’t work but staff came to fix it immediately.

Not a huge detractor once you do it once but a bit complicated to reach by car. Maybe better directions would help.

The room was truly one of a kind, located in an ancient building, actually four properties joined with an enclosed courtyard. The theme of our room is art and it consisted of easels, canvases, pallets of paint. It was on two stories (I paid extra for a suite) and very funky. You have to like that type of thing and when they showed it to us, gave the option of choosing another room...just in case. It was so unique that we took it. The location in the old town was perfect. Helpful consierge service.

The bedroom was on the top floor, the sink and shower a few steps down and the toilet on the main floor. So again, you really had to want the unusual atmosphere to accept those inconveniences, plus as as I said, there were room options which we did not pursue. But we liked it.

The hotel was five star throughout. The room was fabulous, the facilities were fantastic. Location is great too. The concierge was very friendly and absolutely on the ball. We loved the dog bowls in the room - very nice touch. The Michelin star restaurant very kind allowed us to bring our dog and was out of this world.. really would recommend it.

The wine served in the bar was not great, the spa area could have been cleaner, especially the pool. Saying this - the room was spotless. And the spa was lovely, it is was certainly not dirty, just not as spotless as the room.

The hotel is simply beautiful and the concierge team are polite, friendly and very helpful. The breakfast was gorgeous and the team working at breakfast were, once again, friendly, polite and helpful. The hotel is located in the very centre of Old Town. The location could NOT be any better for exploring this stunning city on foot. I was in a Dulpex room which was soooo cute. I was alone but two can sleep there. However, it is small and so you would need to be very comfortable with the other person in the room with you. The room is lovely but if you have mobility issues, choose another room type as there are stairs in the room. It is expensive to stay here BUT, I had the best night's sleep in months there. That says it all for me!

I speak fluent French. However when I spoke with the receptionist at check in, she replied in English. This is an absolute hot button for me and really leaves such a bad impression on me. I did challenge her on it and she apologised and spoke in French afterwards. I find it dismissive when people do this. In fairness, it was only this one person who did this among the whole team and I didn't have any language problems in Lyon either and so, it may have only been a blip. The Lyonnais are incredibly friendly, welcoming, come across as being good humoured and I loved meeting them in their beautiful city. Lyon is so worth a visit.

Very charming historical building in the center with full access to a nice spa, located in the center of the old town. Very kind and helpful concierge who arranged last minute fantastic diner reservations and special parking arrangements when the city car traffic was blocked.

We had a rough start with unpleasant service from a receptionist on the phone but that was very quickly and very kindly handled thanks to the amazing service from the concierge and his team.

If you want to stay in Old Lyon, this is a great location. It's right near lots of wine bars and places to eat (also tourist traps so beware!) The staff was welcoming and warm and the rooms were cool. Note that the rooms have stairs which is worth knowing in advance.

I was only there a day so not much. The breakfast was really expensive for what it was so I would go somewhere else and get something else. The rooms are a little... "kitchy" which was fun and fine for me but if it's not your jam you won't like this place.

I have been going to the Cour Des Loges for many years. This is a unique boutique hotel in a wonderful city in France. The service level is generally the highest in the world.

There was a small problem with the billing of the extras for the room. However any hotel can have a problem and hotels are measured by how they handle that problem. It is incredibly unusual for the Cour Des Loges to have any problems. I appealed to the chief concierge who immediately took care of it above and beyond what was necessary

Start to finish - it was a great stay. Staff were exceptionally friendly, accomodating and personable. The room was ready for the check in earlier than the check-in time. We also have received an upgrade on the room, which was a pleasant surprise. Room was a really good size with a large and extra comfortable bed. The bathroom was also good size with a huge bath and soft towels. The renaissance theme was running throughout the hotel and the room itself, and we felt that the deemed lighting along with the antique wardrobe only complemented that. Even though the room was directly above the restaurant, we didn't hear any noise and had a marvellous, undisturbed sleep. The breakfast was plentiful. The Continental breakfast was my favourite (we could however order a cooked breakfast but wanted to be a bit more adventurous) and, served every morning, it set a positive start to the day. Good choice of local breads, cheeses and ham - absolute delight. Sweet treats also had to be tried and didn't disappoint. The staff friendly and attentive - couldn't wish for more. Concierge team - very knowledgeable and attentive. A Michelin star restaurant for the evening meal - a truly special experience. Overall, a very pleasant stay that will remain in our memories for quite a while.
