Good location. Comfortable beds. Everything was very clean. The guys on reception were so helpful and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. Damiano was great. Air conditioning was great. Easy walk to the Colosseum and restaurants

The rooms were small [other members in our group had bigger rooms on the 4th floor} It would have been nice to have a fridge in the room. The views were of the other buildings opposite. The roof top bar was nice but didnt open till 5.30pm. its quite small but then was never too busy.

Damiano, the front desk clerk, was AMAZING! He went above and beyond to help us maximize our time in Rome. Damiano helped arrange a day trip to Pompeii, filled up our water bottles for us, called our taxis, and was just basically super helpful and always available. Damiano even got me a refund from TrenItalia when we opted for a private tour instead of taking the train. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful - cappuccinos were excellent! The breakfast staff was super nice. The rooms were clean and spacious - especially considering the size of typical European rooms. The air conditioning worked well, which was a god send because it was SO hot. The location was good, not too far from the colosseum, very close to St. Mary Maggiore, and close to the hop on/hop off bus stop. Could not recommend more!!

The owner and staff treated us like family and gave in depth details about where to visit and how to stay safe. I had a logistical issue and the owner saved our day and with his help, we were able to be on our guided tour of the Colluseum that cost us €130. Without him, we would have missed the tour entirely. The breakfast was high quality eggs, bacon, cheese, ham, pastries, fruit, coffee....very good food

The hotel's location is very good, could walk to most of attractions, and nearby the central train/metro station which is a big advantage to take train and metro. Staff is very friendly. Although you can walk to most of attractions, we recommend not to walk into small and quiet streets which Google Map may guide you to, there may be some rogues play tricks to steal your money such as pretending to be policer or tourist etc.

WIFI is slow, to travel to Pisa for visiting Leaning Tower is tough by taking train in one day.

Starting before our arrival Tomasso arranged car service from Rome FCO airport to the property for $70. It was perfect. Then we arrived and Tomasso is on duty, and gives us a fabulous room. It had a balcony with a view of the Colosseum. Amazing! Breakfast was top notch with great service and bonus they had a roof top bar with an amazing bartender named Lucas. The hotel was clean, located within walking distance to many sought after sites. We just loved it, and will be back. 10 Stars for Tomasso and the front desk crew, breakfast crew, and the Amal who helped us with our luggage. Roof Top bar was extra special. We had an early morning flight and they made a breakfast to go and even had espresso ready for us at 3:30 am. Book here you won't be sorry.

Grazie Mille to all the staff from the Hotel Colosseum. From sorting out our transfer from the airport pre arrival, very very pleasant staff they all loved our baby Obie’s eyes especially Tomasso, he gave us great recommendations for authentic Italian food. It didn’t disappoint. Very clean and well maintained Hotel. All staff very nice and welcoming. Compared to other hotels we looked at they offer a very competitive package with breakfast included and it’s no more than 15/20 mins to any of the main attractions. The view from the rooftop is a must especially @ sunset. 10/10 stars again grazie mille

Breakfast was great. Location was perfect!!! Front desk staff couldn’t have been more helpful!! We forgot to bring our ID on our Colosseum tour so the tour guide emailed the hotel and they emailed back copies of our passports so we wouldn’t miss our tour! Over and above!! Their restaurant recommendations were excellent - make sure to visit Molino Bakery Bar & Cucino right around the corner - great food and reasonably priced. We got the family room at the hotel and it had 4 single beds and two bathrooms (nice surprise) and a balcony. Quiet street and was very safe. Great wifi and air conditioning. The rooftop patio was a dream! Loved every minute, would stay again in a heartbeat!

+ THE STAFF!!!! EVERYBODY WAS WONDERFUL, ATTENTIVE & HELPFUL + roof top terrace, breathtaking views + quiet hotel even though you’re in the middle of this roaring city + air condition, heating plus external blinds +in walking distance to public transport (Train/ subway), supermarket not too far away + several towels provided + water kettle, coffee/ tea, extra pillows available in the room + comfortable bed +pretty lobby and breakfast area + nice breakfast, something there for everybody

- we didn’t need our room to be cleaned and hung the sign outside, it still was cleaned - the luggage storage room is always open to everybody. No cameras there to provide security (we were robbed of our luggage in the past so we’re a little sensitive on that matter) - we were required to hand in our key whenever we left the hotel. However when we came back we just told the new staff our room number and he handed us the key. I guess everybody could come in to request whatever key they want. That was worrisome.

The location was in walking distance to a lot of the attractions but not on a busy street so this was great. All the staff were excellent in every way and always very polite and helpful. Tommasso was excellent at providing assistance with getting around town and the best options to take no matter where you were going. Breakfast was of abundance and they always made sure you had plenty to eat and got to know what your coffee type was ☺️ The cleanliness of the hotel was outstanding. All round is was an excellent experience.

The roof top bar is wonderful. Breakfast is great too, you can even take a take-out cup for your morning coffee if you need to leave sooner. The chocolate croissants are so good! Air conditioning is the dream when it's 35⁰c outside and you've walked for at least several hours. Beds are firm but that is exactly how I like my mattress. Spare pillows in the wardrobe and blankets in the top if you forget to turn the air on off during the night like I did. Thomasso on the reception is fantastic and enthusiastic.
