The Major Hotel is lovely, and the Front Office Manager, Luigi, is wonderful. The hotel is very well positioned and well-equipped. The room was clean and beautifully finished. The reception staff were always friendly, greeting us with smiles and hellos as we passed by. We would recommend staying here, as even if there are challenges, your concerns will be met with open ears.

Unfortunately, we had a couple of issues during our stay, but Luigi always met our concerns with empathy and made an effort to compensate or resolve them. We would advise guests to request a room that is not on level 4, as we found the noise from the rooftop bar to be disturbing. Even when there wasn't an event upstairs, we could hear music, voices, and chairs being moved around on the roof. Sometimes, negatives can’t be avoided, and we really appreciated how Luigi responded to our concerns.

The superior room was specious and clean, with a nice big bathroom. Location is great, right by Spanish steps and an 7 min walk to the train station. Air conditioner worked good and kept the room cool all through the day. All together we were happy with our stay. The staff were fantastic. Both at the reception and restaurant.

The bed was a bit too stiff for my liking. The breakfast was a bit overpriced for it offered. Only one bottle of complementary water for our whole stay.

everything was brand new, great location, great food around the area, staff were very helpful and friendly, bed was comfortable, room was spacious, bathrooms was really nice. we also got a free upgrade.

Some facilities weren’t ready. No breakfast or food available(however they did offer some free minibar treats) internet was non existent which meant we couldn’t connect our phones and the T.V’s smart feature would not work.

The location was great, very close to the colosseum, shops and so many places to eat. Loved the rooms too, spacious, nice amenities, big bed! And the staff were amazing, every single one of them from the man that helped us with our suitcases when we arrived to the lovely reception staff. We asked them a lot about recommendations for places to eat and they were so helpful.

Cant fault it really, we didn’t eat here but did have a drink at the rooftop which was great. Only the last night, it was extremely noisy right outside our window as they decided to do construction work at 2am.

Great location! We could walk to most of the main historic landmarks so didn’t need to worry about transport. Lovely rooftop bar to enjoy breakfast on search day. Only negatives were that there could have been a bit more food choices for breakfast and that the complementary water was not given in the room each day when the room was made up so we had to keep calling reception to ask for the water to be delivered to the room. No kettle in room either but called reception and they accommodated for it which was great. Had to pay for coffee pods in the room which was a surprise. Overall we would stay again the staff were nice and approachable, the beds were comfy, room sizes good with a decent size bathroom. Plus the location was really central.

The breakfast is not worth €15pp! Did not cater to different dietary requirements. Very small breakfast selection. The selection of cheese was touching the ham. As I cancelled the breakfast I had to pay €50 for 1 breakfast and all I had was 2 hot drinks and 2 croissants. Very Dissatisfied with the breakfast and how the staff dealt with my complaint. My room was directly opposite the staff room so we would constantly hear staff coming in and out. The soundproofing is poor.

We had the Deluxe view room, it was very spacious, had an amazing bathroom, and everything else we could need. The AC was fantastic, a great reprieve from the heat. And finally, I loved the surprise bottle of Proeseco from the front desk staff on my birthday. Was a great thing to come back to after a long day of exploring Rome. The service is what sets this hotel above the rest!

We booked a Deluxe view room. My only negative is the room photos were completely different than the room we got. Minor detail, but it still surprised us when we first checked in.

Room was lovely, bed was comfortable and shower was good. The roof top terrace was lovely and staff very helpful.

Breakfast was only ok, there were really quite limited options and the likes of porridge was an additional cost. There were pastries and some scrambled egg but it was not great. When we went to the roof top on two evenings I had to have a drink we were seated but only after being told we needed a reservation. We were hotel guests. Most of the tables were empty and we were made to feel a bit of a nuisance. But drinks were lovely on the rooftop.

The hotel is modern and well designed, bedlinen new, very clean. The location is perfect to explore the city. The roof terrace is amazing, right by the dome of Santa Maria Maggiore and the waiter who looked after us during a late dinner was very attentive and welcoming. Overall, the staff offered a really high level of service, so well done and keep it up. The first day of our stay was my birthday, and the staff made a really lovely gesture by surprising me with a bottle of prosecco in the room. Overall just a really enjoyable stay and I would definitely recommend it.

The room was extremely spacious for a family of 4, the shower would be my only complaint about the room. It was quite small and very slippery. Added bonus- an amazing roof top. The food and drinks were amazing! We ended every night up there.

The elevator was broken, and having to go up 3 stories with kids and a stroller was terrible. My son even fell down the stairs when we were leaving.
