Breakfast was varied, something for everyone, in a lovely dining environment.Staff were attentive and friendly. The room had a small balcony and looked up and down the road. The room had a small bar fridge, table, chair, comfy bed and 2 pillows, bathroom was clean and shower was lovely and hot. The room was serviced daily. Just a walk away from so many dining places. Concierges' were great and called for taxis that arrived within minutes. Would definietly stay again. Bar upstairs in the roof had just opened and so nice to have a drink and look over the roof tops!

It was no ones fault, as is life! but the garbage truck on a certain night and laundry coming out, to transfer to a truck & then coming back was a bit noisy in the early morning hours and awoke you! But it is a city!

We loved that the hotel was located only 15-20min walk from the really busy touristy locations. It felt cosy and homely and the streets immediately around the hotel felt reasonably safe to walk around at night. The room felt outdated however that was contrasted by a new and modern bathroom. Amenities were refreshed and we always came back to a squeaky clean room. It was a small hotel with a cute rooftop bar! Restaurants were down the street as well as a grocery store next door :) Additionally it is a 10min walk from Roma termini! Staff were always friendly as well

Very nice experience! Nicely renovated hotel, room was clean and comfy, bathroom was very nice. Hotel seems to have gone through major renovation. Breakfast buffet was very good ! Staff was very friendly and helpful. We were able to leave our luggage on the day of arrival before the room was available, upon return our luggage had been taken to the room. Also on day of departure we left our luggage and picked up later. Location is very good, short walk from Roma Termini, short walk to Colosseum and Forum Romanum, some 20 minutes to spanish stairs and Fontana di Trevi etc. Staff recommended to take a taxi to Vatican and it was a good choice, some 15 minutes and 15€. Walked back with stops for lunch, Pantheon and some churches. Lots of restaurants nearby, Tested Tripadvisor recommendations just around the corner, Astemio Wine & Food restaurant and La Mela D'Oro were both excellent choices!

The breakfast had a really good assortment of options - eggs, pancakes, fresh fruit, pastries, cheeses, meats, cereals, etc. The staff made us fresh cappuccino in the morning which was our favorite in all our time in Italy. The room decor is not my favorite but the bathroom and room were clean and spacious. I don’t understand why wash clothes weren’t offered at this hotel or one we stayed at in Spain. If you need a washcloth, bring some. There is a good laundry place about .25-.5 mile down the street. 20 euros to wash and dry a load. We were able to combine darks and lights with cold water wash. The staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful. We will definitely return!

The wallpaper and room decor a little dated.

We really liked the convenience of the area we stayed in which felt safe and was within walking distance of the train station and all of the sites we wished to see. Breakfast each morning had excellent continental choices and hot and cold options. Being able to chela ourselves was great for managing time and choices but the offer of fresh cappuccinos made by staff and brought to the table was also great. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Everywhere felt very clean and cared for.

The extra tips requested for staff on check out was an additional expense we hadn’t experienced in other hotels though the management did say at the start of our stay that it was optional. Of course there does feel a certain obligation and we did value the service given so we’re ok with adding the tip on check out by the suggested amount. Just a note to prepare other travellers perhaps as we hadn’t been asked this in other hotels we’ve stayed in.

We loved everything about this hotel. There isn’t anything we dislike, we will definitely choose to stay in this hotel again if we come back to Rome. My only suggestion is to have flame patio heaters on the top of the roof bar so we could have spent more time there, we loved it; the staff, the music, the views around it, it was chilly and windy in the evening when we went there… A part from this, the hotel is a great place to stay in, we personally would not choose another hotel. Staff are very friendly and happily willing to speak English which makes communication easier. I tried to speak in Italian though, I do highly recommend it. It worth the money spent here.

I was pleased to find complimentary coffee, including decaf options, and croissants available downstairs. It was a bit disappointing, however, that complimentary water bottles were not available either in the room or near the reception where the coffee was located. On a positive note, the hotel is in a fantastic central location with many restaurants nearby. It's also conveniently within walking distance of the Colosseum and Roma Termini. I also found the staff to be very helpful. The hotel has a rooftop lounge, although I didn't have the chance to visit it during my stay.

Great location! Close to train station and walkable to all sights, restaurants, etc. Room was a good size and clean. Staff were fantastic, greeting all guests with a smile and friendly conversation. Special mention to Roberta (kitchen staff) who arranged my daily gluten free breakfast. So grateful! Great variety of breakfast items for those without allergies, quite impressive.

Nothing not to like. I’d definitely recommend and stay there again.

Wonderfully comfortable charming hotel with super friendly staff. The location was ideal, 10mins walk from the train station and 10 mins walk to the Colleseum. Great restaurants close by, as well as small supermarket. The room was comfortable, beds super cozy and fluffy towels in the bathroom! The breakfast was tasty and had all the juices, meats cheeses etc as well as pastries and cereals. The staff will book a taxi for you if needed, and even have umbrellas for use if necessary.

This is my second time in Hotel Raffaello. I requested for the room I got the first time I stayed with them and they allowed my request for which I was very thankful. The room faced the side pedestrian street so it was quiet. It was on the second floor so it was easy to use the stairs if I couldn't wait for the elevator. The bed was really comfortable and the bathroom was modern. The airconditioner worked well and the water pressure was strong. I liked that I was close to the train station for my early out of town trips....but far enough from the chaos of the Termini area. The staff were friendly and helpful.
