Very clean and smelt fresh. Cool and comfortable. Host was very helpful and friendly. Pastries in the morning were unreal. Would recommend. Perfect location. Was able to walk to colosseum and trevi fountain in minutes. Also walked to Vatican. Didn’t need public transport. Couldn’t fault it

The only thing I can think about it would have been difficult to find if our taxi driver hadn’t pointed it out to us as big green doors and not very well signed outside. But that’s just the Italian road numbers not a criticism at all of the property. Was very happy here

The location was excellent. It was an easy walk to and from the main train station, Rome Termini, and a few of the main attractions here in Rome, including the Pantheon and Coloseum. There are also some great restaurants nearby that are easy to access. Trieste Pizza was delicious and a 3 minute walk.

They advertise having a breakfast but it's very Italian in that it's just bread rolls and pastries. They're good enough, but we got breakfast elsewhere. The beds were comfy, but are made for shorter folks. My husband and I are 5'9/5'10 and our feet hung slightly over the edge.

The family apartment we stayed in was so much bigger than I thought. It was so lovely. Two outdoor patios, two washrooms, very spacious. Perfect for our family. I loved the fresh pastries and bread every morning. I also loved that the kitchen was stocked with cold drinks, coffee and snacks. Everything was clean and comfortable. I loved the old architecture. I loved the location, just steps away from a grocery store and there is a laundry just down the block. Lots of nice restaurants in area. Everything in walking distance, Colosseum, Spanish steps, Trevi Fountain, etc.. Also loved the convenience of having airport and cruise terminal transfers. They are happy to arrange a taxi for you too if needed. We required one to go to the Vatican. Everything else we could walk too. We loved it!

The location of this apartment was fantastic. Only 15 - 20 min walk to the main bus/metro and Train station. The same distance for the Colosseum and Trevi Fountain. We were less than 5 mins from Papal Basilica Saint Mary Major. The apartment was clean and fully stock with everything you may need during your stay and loved the fresh Croissants and Pastries in the morning delivered fresh to door at 7am in the morning. Theres a small supermarket opposite the entrance of the Hotel that stock every including beer and wine

To be honest there not really much I didn’t like about the apartment it was spacious, probably the only thing I can say and it wasn’t I didn’t like it as I already knew was the second bed was a camp bed for my teenage son but it was comfortable and no issues at all. (This was very minor and not a issue)

This property is in a great location - close to the station & to the Colisseum etc. Lots of shops & restaurants nearby. The room had everything you'd need & I loved the fact that there were soft drinks in the fridge & facilities for coffee etc. Te breakfast delivery of pastries was great. The receptionist who greeted me was so welcoming & helpful. I had to leave at 6,30am for my flight home which was too early for the breakfast delivery so she arranged for me to have 2 lots on the previous day.

Nothing much - if I had to be picky, the stairs might have been a problem but I was on the 1st floor so no problem for me. I had a single room which was perfectly adequate (& over & above what I have come to expect from some single rooms) but some may find it a little small. I thought it was absolutely fine & such good value for the location & faciities

Having explored four destinations across Italy during the Spring of 2025, I can confidently say that Aenea Inn offered the most budget-friendly and satisfying breakfast. I wouldn't hesitate to book a stay there again.

During my stay, a staff member suggested a nearby Italian restaurant that unfortunately turned out to be quite disappointing. The food was excessively salty, and to my dismay, I noticed the presence of bugs within the restaurant. Based on this experience, I would advise against relying solely on their recommendations and instead encourage doing your own research when selecting dining options.

LOVED this placed! I’ve tried multiple places to stay in Rome and this was by far my favorite! We stayed in the terrace room and it was so spacious, absolutely perfect for a family. I was so impressed with how clean and new the whole apartment was. There were drinks (including a nespresso machine with pods) and snacks as well which was a very nice surprise. Amazing value for how big the place was. Walkable from the train station, and only about a 30 min walk to the rest of the main sites, which was not bad at all. The staff was super friendly as well, even stored our luggage and brought it into our room since we arrived before check in time. We were only there one night before flying home and we were sad we didn’t have the place longer! 1000% would stay again

The property has wonderful charm and character, with a big green entrance door off the street, marble staircases and high ornate ceilings. The size is great, with plenty of room for 3 and suitcases. The room comes fully equipped, stocked with snacks and drinks, and the bread and pastries they drop off each morning are delicious and well received. The location is good, we walked to most of the main attractions and you get the old town feeling directly outside. Plenty of good restaurants within 1-2 blocks. Very close to Termini- but an effort with big suitcases across the cobblestones! Very clean and relatively quiet. Really friendly and helpful staff. We loved it!

Nothing negative to add.

The location is ideal if you want to be within a walking distance of Rome's most popular attractions. There is are several small supermarkets, pharmacies nearby, bars and restaurants. Our room was spacious, and the kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed. Each morning, fresh pastries were delivered to our door, and juice and coffee were readily available in the kitchen. We arrived late at night, and Alen was exceptionally kind in greeting us. The cleaning staff was also remarkably friendly. This has become one of my favorite places to stay in Rome, and I will definitely return!

The internet connection in the room was not good. I believe this is due to the thick walls of the old building, but maybe there's a way of improving that.

The location was great. Walking distance to all the main sites in Rome. The room was spacious and quiet. Beds were comfortable.

Tiny elevator so we didn’t bother with it much. Breakfast was ok. The pastries weren’t the best but it was nice to have them delivered for breakfast each morning.
