A stay that exceeds expectations! We were checked in by a pretty girl with glasses, and it's a shame we didn't ask her name and thank her in person. The wine check-in was so thoughtful, the coffee maker even added water, and that's a nice touch. Upgraded to a deluxe suite, quieter, more space, more comfort. Every day when you go out, you just give the front desk staff your key and it means you can clean your room, which we love, and it's very clean every day, and everything's in its place, and we're very happy with the way it's done.

We were in the middle of the Ryder Cup Match Play golf tournament, so prices skyrocketed to the point where we didn't stay for a few more days, but it wasn't their fault, it was ours. lol I 'm thinking that if the floor of the room is carpeted and the legs of the chairs are balanced, it's possible to minimize the surrounding noise.

Sentho Roma is a beautiful hotel in an unbeatable location. The street is quiet, but conveniently located near many of Rome's main attractions. The neighborhood (Monti) is picturesque and full of great restaurants! The colors and furniture in the common spaces and guest rooms are chic and elegant without feeling stuffy or overdone. Our room was a nice size; the bathroom was large and one of the prettiest hotel bathrooms we've ever seen! The rooms on the backside of the building overlook a pretty courtyard and church, and the rooftop bar has amazing views of the city. The staff is responsive, helpful, and friendly. Highly recommend!

The only thing that was a bit bad, was that the room to the bathroom couldn't be locked.

The rooftop bar was empty and no staff the day I went up for a little aperitivo, ghost. The A/C in my room even though it was set up to 18 celcius ( minimum allowed) the room stayed st 26.5 degrees… it was hot at night…the ladies were nice enough to bring a fan to the room which was a great help, but still not enough, I didn’t rest well due to the heat in the room. Something was not functioning well. I’ve been to Roma many times in the sweltering summer and never had this problem. I don’t mind the 40 celcius outside.. coming from Miami….but a hot room is unnaceptable.

Our suite on the top floor was lovely with a small sitting area, lots of windows, a nicely appointed bathroom and high ceilings. It was very clean, quiet and our family of 4 was very comfortable. We appreciated the bottled waters daily and the 2 free welcome drinks (a wine, beer and chips) which we took on the gorgeous rooftop at sunset. The location was convenient for walking and to catch the hop on/off bus, on a quiet side street, surrounded by beautiful buildings. The rooftop and the garden in the back were so beautiful with lots of seating! The girls at the front desk were also very welcoming and helpful.

It would have been a perfect stay if a little breakfast would have been included...just a nice coffee/espresso/cappuccino, some fruit and bread/pastries would have been lovely. Yes, there was a restaurant onsite with $20 per person breakfast available, but we just wanted to grab something little and go. I really enjoy a good cup right away each morning, and the garden or rooftop would have been a perfect spot to enjoy it.

Setho Roma is an incredible boutique hotel nestled in the charming neighbourhood of Monti. From the moment I made the booking, the staff were in touch to ensure we had everything we needed, even before check-in. The ladies at the front desk were outstanding—friendly, informative, and always accommodating with our requests. We stayed in a deluxe room with a balcony, and the view of the garden and the nearby church was absolutely lovely. The room itself was very spacious, with a comfortable bed and a generously sized bathroom. One of the highlights was spending time on the rooftop during sunset, taking in the stunning views of the historic buildings surrounding the hotel. The location couldn’t be better—you can easily walk to all the major tourist attractions or simply wander through the streets of Monti, exploring the boutique shops and hidden gems. Overall, an exceptional stay, and I would highly recommend Setho Roma to anyone looking for comfort, charm, and a central location.

The breakfast options were somewhat limited. While it covered the basics and was sufficient for us, some may find it a bit monotonous. However, considering this is a boutique hotel with a limited number of rooms, it felt reasonable. Additional items were available to order at an extra cost, but we didn’t find the need for them.

The hotel is located in the 'new' area of Monti with less tourist traffic, a number of small boutique like hotels and interesting little shops. Its very close to the Colisseum, Palatine Hill and the Forum but near public transport if walking is not your thing. We received an upgrade to an 'apartment' which was very large and spacious. We liked the 24 hour desk and the rooftop bar and garden area. It was a welcome change from the hustle and bustle of centro storico accommodation.

The rooftop bar was closed for a private event we were not notified about so we missed out on a lovely negroni. Otherwise it was all as expected.

It’s new hotel, located perfectly not far from Termini and in the best accessibility to center of historical Roma. Roof terrace stole my heart. Since it’s not my first time in Rome, I spent a lot of time on the terrace, in the garden, having coffee in the hotel - which I used to never did cause Rome has best food in any cafe.

Everything was really great, only breakfast was slightly poor for 20€, however it didn’t affect neither the stay neither the feeling about hotel.

Great location, staff go above and beyond to help. Nice and quiet and really well looked after. Looking out on Rome via the rooftop bar or our personal balcony was incredible. The breakfasts are great and the drinks provided were really high quality. All this only ten minutes walk from the coliseum, forum and a variety of fantastic bars and restaurants. Honestly the best I could ask for in such a busy city.

Honestly hard to think of anything we disliked. I guess that when we went to the roof bar there was no bartender, but the downstairs staff were brilliant and bought wonderful drinks all the way up to us once I went to see them.

Wowee what to say about this wonderful hotel! We are on our honeymoon and arrived early off our train from Florence and they very kindly let us into our room and informed us we had received an upgrade to a superior room with a view. The room was lovely, spacious, clean and came with a bottle of red wine. The hotel was a short walk to the colosseum - this was greatly appreciated after completing 20k+ steps and able to come home to our comfy bed and air conditioned room. The neighbourhood was young, cool, lots of tasty restaurants and bars and not incredibly touristy. We were leaving on a late train also and they very kindly let us chill in the back garden area and made us the most tasty aperol and campari spritzes while we charged our devices and downloaded some programmes for the train. The rooftop bar is also a beautiful and quiet spot to relax. I could not recommend this spot enough! Thank you for making our Rome trip very special.
