Hotel was perfect, couldnt fault it at all. Travelled 2 Adults and 4 Teenagers. I requested rooms beside each other and this was fufilled no problem. Breakfast was great, lots of choices. Pool was a welcome addition, as it was 38 degrees during our stay. It was clean and well kept, pool bar was a brilliant addition. Pool towels are supplied by life guard who is always on duty. If anyone left their towels on a bed in the morning to reserve it, and didnt turn up within a few hours, the lifeguard lifted the towels and freed up the beds. This was great. Rooms large and spacious, bed was extremely comfortable. Complimentary refreshments in the room fridge were nice touch. Hotel staff were great help, never a problem with answering questions and getting us taxis into the city. Normally around €25 for 6 seater taxi each way. Walking wasn't an option in the heat!! Taxis were cheaper that the shuttle bus which was €5 per person, and it only left you off at one destination in the centre, and didnt run many times during the day. All in all I'd definitely reccomend anyone to stay here, and I'll hopefully be back again.

Location wise, its far out from the city. But I knew that when I was booking. I had originally booked an apartment in City but when seeing the temperatures (38 degrees) opted for here due to the pool.

The hotel is very nice and clean. It has nice facilities and the pool is a plus.

The location is the great down part of the hotel. Is far from the city center, and public transportation. You can easily spend 30-40 euros in a way to the city center. The good part is that the hotel has a transfer that take you to the Vatican City at the cost of 5 euros pp.

My stay at Hotel Pamphili was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I arrived, Stefano, the customer relations manager, set the tone with his unparalleled hospitality, ensuring every aspect of my stay was memorable. The reception staff echoed this warmth, making me feel truly welcomed. The genuine friendliness and helpfulness of the entire staff, from Dana's ( lady from Colombia ) radiant charm at breakfast to the attentive service at the restaurant, left a lasting impression. The lady who checked us in for breakfast was helpful and kind too, often on hand to help me order a freshly made omelet to my taste. Speaking of the restaurant, the dining experience was a culinary delight, with each dish, from the Focaccia Mediterrane to the Filetto Maiale, surpassing expectations. The spacious and impeccably clean room provided a haven of comfort, while the unexpected opening of the outdoor pool added a touch of luxury to my stay. And let's not forget the indulgent couples massage at the spa, a perfect way to unwind. While the location required a short commute to central Rome, the ease of access via taxi (around €15) tram, or bus (€2) made exploring the city effortless. Plus, discovering the nearby Love Park was a delightful bonus. Though minor, the absence of an iron in the room was a slight inconvenience, but it didn't detract from the overall stellar experience. In conclusion, my time at Hotel Pamphili exceeded all expectations, and I eagerly anticipate my next stay at this gem in Rome. I’ll be back! Highly recommended!

We stayed for 5 days combining sight seeing and chilling. The staff were friendly and informative. The pool area was beautiful but if you suffer from hay-fever the trees all around are a killer! The room was a good size and the balcony but both beds were very squeaky. The breakfast was gorgeous with a fantastic selection of hot and cold. The pool area was definitely our highlight. You could get a sunbed anytime of day when we visited. The pool bar served a good selection of drinks and snacks. The rooftop restaurant was stunning albeit quite expensive.

We booked this hotel as it had a shuttle. We had one in a hotel I. Sorrento which was superb. This one however we didn’t use once. It cost €5 each and it neither took you ti the Vatican or the city centre. Then to get a taxi/Freenow was a bit of a nightmare, even the hotel had issues. In 5 days we spent £400 on taxis!! The main restaurant downstairs in the hotel is a bit like a canteen although the staff were very friendly. Definitely think this needs to be improved. Feels like they have given up on this to push the rooftop area.

Let’s start with the staff—because that’s where the magic begins. From the moment we stepped in, the front desk team welcomed us with kindness, patience, and a genuine desire to make our stay unforgettable. And they absolutely delivered! A special shoutout to Valentina, whose warm and thoughtful approach made us feel right at home. The pool and its surroundings were everything we needed to unwind after a day of exploring Rome. They even offered floaties to enhance the experience—a small touch that made a big difference. The staff by the pool were equally friendly and attentive. Breakfast was generous, with plenty of delicious options to choose from, and served with a smile by a lovely team. The rooftop was a highlight—perfect for ending the day with a drink in hand and a stunning sunset view. Our room was spacious and beautifully designed, with a balcony that made mornings and evenings extra special. Highly recommended—this place knows how to turn a stay into a true experience.

The location – While the hotel is surrounded by a peaceful green park (which we loved), it’s a bit removed from the city’s main attractions. For us, it was actually part of the charm—we wanted a relaxing retreat to balance the energy of Rome. But it did mean we had to plan our days a bit more carefully to avoid spending too much time going back and forth. Lighting – In the evenings, we felt the lobby could benefit from a slightly dimmer, cozier ambiance. Some of the room lights were quite bright and cool-toned; swapping those out for warmer bulbs would make the space feel even more inviting and relaxing. Lastly, when the rooftop restaurant is open, cooking smells sometimes drift onto the balcony. It wasn’t a major issue, but something to keep in mind if you're sensitive to scents.

One of the best things was the pizzas which almost seemed to have round the clock availability! The hotel was beautifully positioned beside a massive park which-if you have lots of free time and are energetic is a great resource. Large room with all amenuties needed and the terrace was an absolute slice of luxury.

While it was helpful to have the shuttle service the 18:00 and 22:30 return times were restrictive and this was rigid. One of the reasons I booked this hotel was the fabulous pool. Unfortunely the 10:00-18:00 opening times prohibited it's use and we needed to be in Rome for guided tours at that stage. Early morning and later evening access would have changed my rating for hotel. While the staff are very friendly and the bar cocktail and food menu sufficient because the hotel is a conference venue the bar was often busy and staff under resourced.

This lovely hotel is the perfect option if you wish to visit Rome however also feel like you are enjoying a summer resort. The pool is huge and such a great place to cool off after the business and heat of Rome. The cool breeze is a relief as you are a bit higher up. Yes it is not in Rome central but we went in twice a day …We used the morning shuttle yet caught a taxi back for 15 euro. We also loved the rooftop restaurant as it is so pretty and the food was delicious. The staff are friendly and efficient so all in all a great stay. Our room was on the 5 th floor so nice and quiet. It was a bit older but very clean. I think some rooms have been renovated.

More shuttle times. It is unusual not to have an hourly service as this would make the location much more attractive.

Very clean, modern hotel, beautiful swimming pool - which was very nice to come back to after the heat of Rome. (To note - it is very deep even in the shallow end). Excellent breakfast - great choice and plentiful - continental and full cooked, inc pastries, cakes, cheese, ham, toast / breads. Nice modern rooms, very clean and lovely bathroom with good shower. Beautiful roof top bar and restaurant - with distant views of Rome. Although a little way out - 20 mins in a cab (circa 20 Euro each way) - a price worth paying for the hotel and in particular the pool. Very helpful front desk. There is a hotel shuttle 5 Euro each way) but gets booked very quick and if 4 or more then cab sometimes works out cheaper anyway. Pool side bar - very nice - including their pool menu and ice cream.

Ground floor restaurant - very limited menu and food very average.

Breakfast was excellent. Great choice and well stocked constantly. Breakfast staff very good and friendly. Pool and poolside bar great. Needed extra pillows and bought up immediately. Room servicing very good and plenty of towels. Great Taxi service.

Waiting staff in lower level resturant were not great on our first night . very slow bringing drinks and not very attentive or prompt dealing with requests.. Also quite slow taking and getting bar orders on rooftop bar. Perhaps thats just a Ireland thing, but often waited over 10mins for a simple beer. Small observations on what was otherwise a very enjoyable stay.

Nice location in a green area away from the down-town crowds. Easy parking. Nice and friendly staff. Good breakfast. Spacious rooms. Nice lobby and rooms. Good neighbourhood.

Would be nice to have some form of under 16 entertainment for kids. In the summer the outdoor pool is open which is perfect but in the winter there is not much to do for them (indoor pool/wellness is for 16 and older). The hotel is not ideally located for public transport yet the hotel does offer a "first-come first serve" shuttle service that takes you close to the Vatican (only in morning and evening). Maybe offering an "on demand" shuttle service from the hotel to the starting point of Tram 8 (Tram 8 takes you straight to the Colloseum) would be a great service to avoid a 20 minute walk which is partially uphill and no sidewalks. None the less, we were not bothered by any of this as we had our own rental car to drive into town (which was surprisingly easy and fast).
