Breakfast was amazing! So much choice. Hot or cold options. Japanese and Western options. I absolutely loved this hotel and felt very safe secure and comfortable in my room. I was one adult travelling alone. Location was great! And very quiet. Easy access to multiple train stations even an elevator at street level which was great when I checked out and was moving on by train. Staff were incredible. Price was fantastic and very affordable. If you plan on doing the Go Karts with Japan Karts they are literally in the same street so easy to get home after a night time drive 😁. That was a bonus for me I didn’t realise that until I walked past their garage! ** I definitely had a non smoking room/floor and never smelt smoke from the smoking rooms. Maybe the smoking rooms were in the other building so don’t worry about that **

It's 15 minutes away from Shinjuku area...a short walk. And 10 minutes walk to the colsest Metro station, Shinjuku SanChome. Hotel is quite big and rooms are small but ok comparing to other hotels in Tokyo. Not too old but not even new. Breakfast was good...you can eat from cooked salmon to miso soup, rice, eggs, tempura...and only a few western food items. But I was in Japan so it is the way they eat! Good price for what you get! would go back there!

machine sounds at night (and jetlag too) did not let me sleep at night...I unplugged minibar fridge, but still could hear air conditioning noise or bathroom ventiation.

The Hotel is conveniently located,one can walk to Shinjuku station.The room itself is small which one expects in a city like Tokyo , so that is acceptable.The room was clean though a bit dated , the linen was always crisp and clean.They allow you to drop off your bags if you arrive before your room is ready, that is very helpful. The staff is excellent and ready to help in whatever way they can. They have coin laundry on the premises which is handy.

The soft by reception needs a bit of a clean as the stains on the sofas don’t give a good first impression.

The room was surprisingly spacious and the bed was nice and big. Very comfortable too and the airconditioning was effective. The staff were very friendly when checking in and had no problem keeping our luggage for a few hours after check out.

Unfortunately no smoking room and something was missing from our room after housekeeping had been in there. Luckily it was only an inexpensive toy I got from a gacha, but a little strange. The decor is very dated, but we honestly didn't care about that.

The staff were very helpful, and assisted us with a Yamato Transport shipment to another area. They were even able to receive a payment for the shipping company, which mosts hotel don't. They gave us good advice regarding points of interest & relaxation areas. The place had all relevant amenities available, even late at night.

The bed was a bit uncomfortable. The location was a little far from Shinjuku's main tourist area, which required a bus or some walking.

We loved the location easy walking distance from all the action but very quiet at the hotel. The view from the room and lifts was amazing. Fantastic being able to open the window. Buffet breakfast suited all 4 of us. Handy washing machine. We enjoyed eating evening meal locally in the street.

We always love staying at Hotel Listel Shinjuku. Clean comfortable rooms. Nice bed, fridge in the room, nice bathroom. Staff is really friendly and helpful! Also, we actually made it to the main building this time (previous two times we were in the annex which is also great by the way :) )

Excellent location very close to many bars and restaurants, very friendly staff, inexpensive coin laundry available on site, free wi-fi always worked perfectly, convenient vending machines placed throughout the facility.

Room was a bit small but it's to be expected in Tokyo, not really a negative for me to be honest.

We had a nice stay in our hotel room with spacious comfortable bed. Lots of sockets for our cellphones. Nice also we had a large couch to rest and put up our tired feet and legs after walking on tours. Very close to attractions, shops and restaurants. We love the 7-Eleven store across the hotel. Staff were helpful and polite. Recommended hotel. Thanks.

very clean with option for breakfast . Close to the train . Daily bath soaps and komodo & slippers . Quiet area so it was nice to sleep

Rooms are small but I suppose that is typical for Tokyo. Especially the bathrooms , ceilings are low . My son ( who is 6’3 )kept hitting his head on the way out of the room .
