The hotel is located in Taito city which is very chill and quiet compared to vibrant Shinjuku or Shibuya. For us it was a plus to stay in such an area. The closer subway station is E10 (Shin Okachimachi) which will gonna take less than 5minutes to be there. For 10-12 minutes you can get to Okachimachi where many lines connect. Nearby there are all 3 big markets (lawson, 7eleven and family mart). Also, Ueno Ameyoko Shopping street is at 10 minutes distance, it worth visiting, there are a lot of shops and good japanese restaurants. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. We had a room at 10th floor with Tokyo skytree view. Japan Tip: the subway station names are hard to be pronounced/followed on google maps but they have numbers associated (E10 meaning the 10th station on line E). You do not have to know your destination name, just its number so if it will be less than 10 then it will be on platform X, greater than 10 on the other platform. You can only follow numbers, they are very well displayed all over the place. It saved us a lot of time and made us go easily between destinations.

The room size is pretty small. Before booking it we did a lot of research on booking and we see that this is the trend in Tokyo/Japan. Actually we chose this hotel because the room seemed larger than others in pictures. So while it may be larger than others, you should take into consideration that there is not too much space. There was no closet for our clothes, just a small bar with 5 hangers. We have asked for 10 more for our laundry to better dry over the night and they gave us, so bonus for staff.

Helpful staff and easy check in. It has everything you need. Airconditioning in the room and options for if you want your room serviced which I like as I often think it is wasteful.

Room a bit smaller than it appeared in the photo but was still comfortable. Not many coffee or food places in the area to wander to but there is a 7/11 a 5 minute walk away which saved the day. Location was not quite as good as I originally thought as the nearest station (5 min walk) doesn't have as many convenient connections as I hoped. 2 other stations a 10 minute walk do though so not bad but when it was raining or late at night it felt far away. That was on me as I only checked a few connections.

I liked the layout of the twin single room. It was nice to have a couch. We used the side table as a bedside table, which was more practical. I liked the big windows had a nice view. The fridge and microwave were useful. I liked the smoking facility downstairs. It was good to have coffee, toothbrush etc. The location was great, close to stations and shopping.

The beds could have been more comfortable but were ok. Another pillow would have been nice. There was not a lot of room for large luggage.

Proximity to train stations was excellent and the closeness of restaurants,supermarkets and attractions was superb. The staff are excellent,friendly and knowledgeable. Our room was spotless and well maintained throughout our stay. Clean towels,nightwear and fresh linen was supplied on a daily basis. No hesitation in returning to stay.

Nothing the hotel surpassed our expectations in quality and value for money.

Great location in central tokyo - it was very easy to get to a number of train stations within 15 minutes of walking, The room was small but comfortable, and we ended up getting a room facing the skytree which was a really pretty sight

It was somewhat difficult to get around the room because we had larger pieces of luggage which took up a lot of space

Clean, proximity to Shin-Okachimachi station and friendly helpful staff were good points for this older hotel. The nearest three 7-11 convenience stores, which have ATM machines, are proximately two blocks on foot.

The hotel room was clean but the bathroom had a slight odor of mold. The other thing I did not like was the hard bed. It was very stiff.

A 10-15min walk from the main JR station. Alot eateries closer to the station with a 24h Kamo Ramen. Staff were nice and accomodating as well. The design of the hotel was interesting with the corridor of the rooms being open air. The rooms are bigger than some of the other Tokyo hotels I have stayed in as well. All in all a good stay

For our purposes, great location if arriving from Narita Airport via Skyliner Express after a long flight..quieter area if you don’t want full on Tokyo. As with almost everywhere in the city there’s plenty of convenient public transport options within walking distance so being a bit further out doesn’t restrict you navigating the city conveniently. Modern clean rooms with everything you need. Rooms we chose were ‘compact’ but slightly larger than average Tokyo hotel room in this price range..would recommend going for a twin room if you need more space for baggage etc..

The staff were all very considerate, kind, and patient with me as I situated myself during my two week stay in Japan. For visitors from Anglophone countries, the staff speak English.

I think my only issue was the laundry room. There are two washer and dryer units, and they don't dry very well on the first cycle, so you'll have to use the "dry more" cycle a few times.

Lobby layout is user-friendly and many seats for customers to wait for check in time. PERFECT

There is no free shuttle service from hotel to nearby subway station or vice versa. Need around 12 -15 minutes to walk from the nearest station which is difficult for tourist who are bringing family members, elderly or tourist with bigger lugguage. Suggest to provide free shuttle service from or to nearby subway station.
