The location was very convenient. It’s a short walk to Shinjuku station. Approximately 10 mins and I’d recommend leaving my the central west exit and follow the signs that point towards Shinjuku goen National part and met government. There are lots of shopping places and convenient stores around.

The room has no air conditioning and can get really really hot and stuffy. I had restless sleep because it was just too warm. They provide a Dyson fan and a humidifier but they are loud. If you don’t mind the sound of the fan, then you should be ok. Otherwise the room was quite hot. Otherwise everything else was very convenient and I really liked it. I wouldn’t mind staying here again if I came solo or with friends. The breakfast seems expensive. So we ate outside and loads of nice cafes around.

Chose this hotel because my husband going to run for Tokyo Marathon. And indeed this hotel is the nearest to the venue, just go down and straight to the the starting point. The other reason was because there are shuttle bus from Narita to Shinjuku Washington Hotel. Very convenient. But you have to spare time at least 1.30 to 2.30 hour trip. Because the traffic to Narita Apt is always jam, not recommended if you were in rush. We arrived early in the morning, but we can storage our luggage at level 2 until our check in time. The room itself was super clean and the size was quite spacious for Tokyo standard. Bath amenities and Pajama dress also provided. The staff were helpful and friendly, our check in and check out time was done without hassle and fast. The best is, from Shinjuku Washington Hotel they have underground access direct to Shinjuku South Station. Very convenient if the weather outside was not friendly.

If it was not because of Tokyo Marathon, I would thinking twice to stay here. Because of the location is quite far from Shinjuku Station. We have to walk 10-15 minutes to reach there. Although around 5 min walk you will meet aisles full of restaurants, bars, and shop. But it's a bit difficult for us to find halal food here.

The location is very convenient, 10 min walk to the nearest train station, lots of shops and restaurants that open till late, the room is suitable for 1 person, the bed is very comfortable, they think of everything that you would need in the room which is always appreciated. There is a laundry room that I used which is convenient. I also liked the massage chairs while waiting for the laundry 😄

Only thing I found a bit confusing, might be because I reached late and was tired, is the way to the front desk (there is the main building and the Annex building). It took me sometime to know where to go but other than that everything was great.

A little far from train stations when carrying luggage and somehow the room was always muggy

The triple room was a decent size. However as a family (2adults 1 elementary sch age kid) we travelled light with a single medium suitcase, one duffel bag and two medium backpacks. Ample space for our luggage and daily shopping, but might get cramped if had brought any additional luggage. The bath tub. It was nice and deep. Bathtun and bathroom floor was non slippery. Good water pressure for shower. I like that they provided type c usb cable. Helpful when we were recharging our hps and portable battery. And we can adjust the brightness of the bedside table which was reassuring for my kid who likes a bit of nightlight and us adults who actually like to sleep with no bright lights. There was nearby kombinis at the washington main hotel which was sooo convenient. Also Washington Hotel being one of the stops for airport limousine bus was super convenient when we were departing. We bought our tickets in advance, but u can buy airport bus tickets from Annex reception same day (if available, and just a few more yen pricier). Annex hotel had a laundry room (didnt use it tho) and a left luggage facility with pin locking. There is no daily cleaning of room, which was fine for us as we are fairly private and fastidious. There was daily removal of the room rubbish and towels replacement. Good to explore nearby Instead of heading direct to city areas. Plenty of breakfast places around (western and japanese).

Mainly personal preferences on color and texture. Would suggest a brighter or deeper colored bedding. We were a bit taken aback to see olive green beds greeting us on arrival. Did not affect the functionality or our rest. The pillows were a bit uncomfortable. But by the end of trip, we actually got used to the bed and again we managed to get a good sleep at end of a busy day.. The bathroom is very compact. Which suits a child and a average height adult. My husband is quite tall/larger built and was a bit claustrophobic for him.

Bed was comfortable, bath tub was deep. Housekeeping always provided new folded nightwear.

Fan and humidifier were not enough to cool down the room. Only one pillow.

We liked so many things about this hotel, it exceeded our expectations. - location: just a 14 minutes walk to Shinjuku station or 13 minutes to Tochomae station (for Oedo line). Also, the hotel is located in a quieter area of Shinjuku, and we felt completely safe at any time - the room was spacious enough and we had space for all our things and luggage. If needed, at the 2nd floor there is a space where you can leave the extra luggage to not occupy space in the room (I think you had to pay a few yen for it), but we didn’t needed it - coin laundry facilities at the 2nd floor (they are available 24h) - clean - mini fridge - amenities - friendly staff

All was good

Good central location, walking distance from Shinjuku Station and Meiji Jingu. Also served by the airport limousine bus, which made getting there with luggage in tow easy. Rooms were a decent size for Tokyo, and laundry and smoking area conveniently located near the reception. There are also plenty of facilities over in the main hotel, including two convenience stores, various restaurants, and a bar, so you can easily grab a beer or a bite to eat without going back out if you're tired from a long day's exploring. Friendly and helpful staff.

We paid for the hotel breakfast on our first morning, but ended up going elsewhere for the rest of the stay as there wasn't much choice for the price.

I stay here ever time I visit Tokyo because of the location. The room is small but clean. But it’s reasonably priced and can’t beat the location. It’s only 7 minute walk to the Shinjuku Station and also there is an underground path to avoid the weather issues. Another good point about the hotel is the airport limousine stops at the hotel. That’s a huge plus for me. Very convenient! Many restaurants and two convenient stores inside the hotel.

Only the issue for me is that the hotel controls the A/C. So the room is warm during the summer and hot during the winter. Luckily, the room had a fan so that saved me. I smelled a hint of cigarette in the room too although my room was non-smoking.

The property was clean, comfortable, and provided several amenities for our stay. The staff were also extremely helpful and kind. The property is in an excellent location in Shinjuku - so close to the shopping centres (if you don’t mind ~10min walk) and some delicious food options nearby! It also has 2 convenience stores inside the building, and a third around the corner.

The rooms were not air conditioned, and became very humid despite us using the Dyson fan almost 24/7. This didn’t impact our stay too much as we were not in the room very often, but we did wake up a bit hot each morning!
