My experience at was nothing short of exceptional. The hotel itself was stunning—elegant, immaculate, and thoughtfully designed. The view from my room was absolutely breathtaking, the kind that makes you pause and just take it all in. Breakfast? Honestly, it was out of this world—everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully curated. I can confidently say it was one of the most delicious hotel breakfasts I’ve ever had. Every bite felt like a small luxury. But what made this stay truly unforgettable was the concierge team. They recommended a trip to the island of Gozo—and I can’t thank them enough. Had a great time on our first family holiday.Location is great for accessing local amenities, shopping centers and transport.Hotel is near lots of night clubs but it can easily be avoided if with family by taking an alternative route to access local shops etc. Hotel serves great food the breakfast bar ,club lounge access allowed free drinks almost all day ,snacks and evening canapés .It really helped with 4 children on board. Customer service was exceptional.Every single member of staff surprised us by exceeding expectations , hospitality,warmth and compassion. Please be aware there are building works going on nearby but it didn't put us off. The nearby night clubs were a bit of a suprise.

Last week, we had the most wonderful experience staying at this exceptional hotel in St. Julian's, Malta! From the moment we arrived, everything felt just right. The staff were incredibly warm, professional, and genuinely attentive – always ready with a kind smile and thoughtful suggestions that made us feel truly welcomed. We stayed in a Junior Suite, and it was absolutely stunning – immaculately clean, spacious, and luxuriously comfortable. The large bathroom had both a walk-in shower and a beautiful tub, and the walk-in closet was fully equipped with all the essentials. Everything about the room felt elegant and thoughtfully designed, just as you'd expect from a true 5-star hotel. The view from our room was breathtaking – a peaceful combination of garden, sea, and pool. And speaking of pools, do not miss the rooftop infinity pool – it’s simply out of this world! Floating above the city with panoramic views was one of the highlights of our trip. Breakfast each morning was a joy – fresh, varied, and absolutely delicious. The hotel’s location is also perfect: right in the heart of St. Julian’s, close to shops, restaurants, bars, and clubs. Despite its central position, our room was incredibly quiet – the soundproofing is excellent. There's even a casino on-site for those who enjoy a little excitement (not our thing, but still a fun option to have). InterContinental Malta truly offers something for everyone – but for us, as a couple seeking both relaxation and a bit of vibrance, it was the perfect choice. Every detail was designed to help us unwind and enjoy ourselves without ever feeling bored. We are completely satisfied! Special thanks to the staff for all their kindness and professionalism, especially Katerina, Mohamed and Benjamin. We loved the hotel bar and the fantastic bartender Senthamil. The suite and rooftop pool were sumptuous. The hotel's beach restaurant Paranga is very cosy with delicious food and I can only recommend it to everyone. The hotel is very quiet despite the buzzing nightlife. We heartily recommend it!

Although it's not about accommodation, I didn't like the fact that there is construction everywhere, so there is constant noise on the streets. So I would definitely not go to this area with a child. Malta is a very noisy place. :-)

Excellent hotel, just a few steps from the beach which has a great seafood restaurant, maybe the best in Malta. This is a huge hotel, with a lot of activities for both kids and parents. We were on a 6 day vacation in May and the kids loved the pools, both indoor and outdoor, the play room and the beach. The breakfast was very tasty and there was something for everyone. We really enjoyed the afternoon snacks in the garden while the kids were playing games in the playroom. Everyone is very nice and super helpful however our biggest thanks goes to Katerina, she made our dream holiday come true.

Nothing to complaint about however some upgrades are required

The most amazing staff we have ever experienced, it was my partner’s birthday and they welcomed us with a Prosecco bottle, sweets and even an upgrade on the room, we were really pleasantly shocked as we didn’t expect any of that. The room was neat, clean and really spacious. Even on his birthday all the staff knew and congratulated him that made his birthday even more special. I want to say special thank you to public relations manager Katarina (I’m sorry if I didn’t pronounce it correct) and Amrit and Rahul from the beach club. Malta is our favorite country this far we have visited and that is thanks to the hospitality and great care from your staff.

The hotel's location is perfect for what I was looking for. It’s in a lively, vibrant area full of energy and fun, surrounded by numerous restaurants and shopping malls—there’s no chance you'll get bored here. The staff were wonderful, from the airport pickup to the hotel check-in. The breakfast team was fantastic as well, with plenty of delicious options to choose from. Be sure to try their spa if you want to complete your relaxation experience. They even upgraded my room, and I truly enjoyed the view from my balcony. InterContinental is more than just a hotel—it’s a destination in itself.

One small point of improvement: there were no power sockets next to the bed, which would have been more convenient.

The staff were so helpful and nice, the hotel itself is very nice with great facilities. Breakfast was phenomenal and when I mentioned the he didn’t have avocado the next day I had it anytime I wanted. The gym was enormous! The food was good at the restaurants, the garden was peaceful, the room was comfortable, and view from the upstairs pool area at night was gorgeous

The area of Paceville around the hotel is terrible. 17-22 year olds partying all day and night with super loud club music. Drunk and stumbling around. Obviously this isn’t the hotels fault. Once you get away from that it’s not far from the bay areas which are very nice.
