Location, location and location. It is right at the heart of everything for tourist. Breakfast spread and quality is amazing. Special mention of Mr Asif who went out of the way and served us some delicious Indian chai and rice Whole staff in Restaurant was very very cooperative

While I was booking through Booking.com, I was under impression that this is the full payment. But once I reach the hotel and read the details of Booking.com, I was surprised that I have to pay 12.5% tourist tax extra. I would request you all to be frankly clear about all extra charges. You can very well clearly mention under the overall estimate, that this is what extra we need to pay Tourist tax was not charged for any other hotel during our stay and if it is being charged at and your company Booking.com is based at Amsterdam. Please be fair with travellers and mention it very clearly that this is going to be charged at the rate of 12.5%

The room we were in didn’t have a separate bathroom ! Not enough privacy between bed and sink ,toilet ,shower !!

The location is perfect very close to Tram Station and easy to find . Also very close to museums and the area is not crowded compared to Dam Square for example which we were initially looking to stay there but this hotel was way better. The staff were amazing and friendly they gave us a box of stroopwafel cause we mentioned we wanted to try some and they accommodated us and gave us room earlier because we were so tired from traveling.

The bathroom door was taking space from the bathroom making the space very crammed and the bath tub was very high making it hard to get in and out of it.

Hotel Location is amazing (20 min walking to the historical center, 10 min to the museums). Breakfast is stunning. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Hotel lobby is very stylish and cozy.

Room set up doesn't match the description and pictures on Booking. It's very simple and quite inconvenient: beds are on the wheels and move when turn, small wardrobe, lightning is very poor (most probably there was a chandelier on the seiling, however now the wires are covered by something that looks like a sock), one bedside table for 2 beds. Bathroom is quite small and has only a bathtub which makes it a bit dangerous to get out of it due to the slippery tiles. It was very noisy in the room (there is a tram nearby). Cleaning is quite poor.

The Staff at the Park Centraal hotel made this the perfect stay, in addition to the hotel being a fantastic place to stay in Amsterdam. The Park Centraal is perfectly located beside Vondelpark at the top of the canal network. It is walking distance to all attractions and sights. Just perfect! The hotel staff manager and reception staff provided us a room upgrade, staying in room 261 overlooking the canal. This added to our wedding anniversary celebrations, so appreciated. The hotel also had a fantastic hot and cold buffet breakfast, another plus. Overall the Park Centraal Amsterdam is a 10/10 and we will definitely return.

Most of the staff were friendly and very helpful throughout my stay. The room was clean and tidy. Breakfast offered a good selection. Location was great and although in a central location, the room was quiet overnight.

I asked to upgrade the room via Booking.com, which when I arrived had not been arranged. This was corrected within a couple of days and I was able to move rooms. The staff were apologetic about this, but it was disappointing. I left the room at 9am one day and arrived back at 2.30pm, and the room had not been cleaned, which seemed quite late to not be turned around. The temperature of the room was difficult to control, and hard to warm up.

We absolutely loved our stay at Park Centraal Amsterdam! The location is fantastic — just about a 3-minute walk to the Rijksmuseum and around 7 minutes to the Van Gogh Museum. It’s within easy walking distance to the city center. Although it's about 30–40 minutes on foot from Central Station, I was very happy with my choice. Initially, I considered hotels closer to Central Station, but upon arrival, I was relieved to have chosen Park Centraal. The area around the hotel is very clean, safe, and pleasant, whereas the surroundings near Central Station felt less safe, with many intoxicated or strange individuals around. The staff were welcoming and professional. Upon check-in, we were greeted with a complimentary glass of sparkling wine, which was a lovely touch. As for the room, it was small but clean and well-organized. We had no issues with the sink being in the room, as some reviews mentioned — in our case, everything was perfectly arranged, with the sink located inside the bathroom. Housekeeping cleaned the room daily, and the minibar, fridge, tea, coffee, and coffee capsules were replenished each day. The only minor downside was the hotel bar on the ground floor. Although the bar itself was beautifully designed and inviting, the cocktail menu was quite basic and limited — we were hoping for a bit more variety. Overall, we had a wonderful experience. The hotel offers excellent value for money, and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Amsterdam!

The staff were amazing, could not have been more helpful and kind in every way. Location was brilliant, the bar was excellent and the Zenology products (shampoo etc) were fantastic. A small thing that was really great was the location of the hairdryer / plug vs mirror. In most places, the hairdryer is only able to be plugged in 3 miles from any mirror and thus is not very useful. This one was RIGHT by an excellent mirror. I know this is a minor thing, but it made a big difference. Would definitely go back!

I would have preferred the shower floor to be non-slip - it was just normal tile and very slippery - and because it opened straight into the bedroom, there was no way to put a bathmat in front of it that didn't catch on the door, which was mildly annoying. There was a beautiful espresso machine in the room... but not just normal coffee. You could get (really, really nice) coffee... ... on the ground floor, in public, which wasn't ideal first thing in the morning. Just normal coffee sachets would have been very welcome.

Service at breakfast was not good on the first day. My spouse asked to be served an egg option, and was told that someone would come to take an order, but when the person came 20 minutes later, the kitchen had closed for hot egg dishes. Further on floor 4Z there was a continuous wash basked/trolley when coming out of the lift, and in the hall of the lift there was an additional high wash trolley with laundry, with old torn sides, looking really poor. It was an eyesore, and it irritated me that it was there all the time, and nobody seemed to worry about it. These things should not stay in hallways for 3 full days !!

Room was lovely, private and secure, with a very comfortable bed. Well appointed, clean and modern bathroom. Friendly customer service, especially when I was not as happy about the lack of in room service, as per their website. I would definitely stay here again, as it’s also in such a great location and the professional customer service won me over. Thank you for making my visit a very memorable stay!

Unfortunately there was no in room service, even though it highlights this on both their website and internal room / hotel directory. Momo restaurant is attached to the hotel, very high end Asian fusion food, which is delicious, but given the type of travel I was doing, I did feel very under dressed for this restaurant. Hotel would benefit from having not only in room service, but also a second restaurant onsite that travellers could attend when dressed very casually and have one night with food that is very healthy, yet mid priced, then another night with very healthy, high end priced food / dinner. Not everyone wants rich, high end food every night when travelling .. variety is usually much better.
