The style of the place was excellent! Loved there was a restaurant bar, even though we missed breakfast. The location was also great, being walking distance to the M2.placed. The staff was very nice!

We got a scare upon arrival that there was no running water for the first few hours. Problematic when you need to use the bathroom after lots of travel. Also, small face towels... those are a staple in America so would be good to have those! Wish the breakfast were free with the stay like many places.

The location is perfect—just a few minutes from the metro and close to the center. There’s a small shop nearby where you can find groceries, coffee, and other essentials. This is our second time staying at Tribe, and we’ll definitely be back!

You have to take your luggage yourself to your room & back.. however, this did not affect our stay..

When we arrived around 1pm, we enquired about an early check in and they were able to accommodate this for us. We felt so welcomed by them and the staff who were extremely friendly really took care of us. We absolutely loved the location of this hotel. The Metro is only a 2 minute walk away. Take the M52 Zuid line to Central Amsterdam (only 2 stops). When returning to the hotel, take the M52 Noord line back from Central Amsterdam (only 2 stops again). The hotel was immaculate and had a cool vibe about the decor. It was quiet at night time and we had no disturbances. We had one minor problem with the thermostat. We messaged on their WhatsApp number and a member of staff came up straight away and solved the problem in less than 5 mins. Our room was beautiful with a large, spacious and comfortable bed. The shower was hot and had good pressure. Our bed was made fresh daily along with having new, clean towels too. We had breakfast on one of the days and it was delicious and extremely good value for money (21.50€ pp). There was a range of hot breakfast items, pancakes, pastries, fruit, yoghurts and cereals! We didn’t leave a thing! Absolutely loved our stay and will definitely stay here when we visit Amsterdam again! We have already recommended the Hotel to our friends and family.

The room was newly furnished, sizable, pristine, and exceptionally cozy. It featured a spacious shower area and offered remarkable cleanliness and comfort.

Upon our arrival at the hotel, we had a disconcerting experience before check-in conducted by the receptionist. The initial reaction was as if he was surprised that we were even addressing him, followed by almost non-existent communication. For a hotel of your type and standard, we expected a much more professional and warm welcome.

The hotel is fantastic and very close the train station. We try to book here whenever we are travelling to Amsterdam. The hotel is quiet and is very comfortable. We love staying in this hotel. Our room had a mini fridge to keep any foods or drinks cold while exploring the city. Staff is very friendly, rooms were clean, beds are comfortable and bathroom has a nice rainfall shower. Hotel is close to a shopping centre and grocery store. There are also some restaurants that are within walking distance. Don't pass on this hotel.

I liked how close it was to the metro line and how close the surrounding shops were. The room was lovely, the bed super comfortable. I loved that you had a space under the bed to put your suitcases away. Being able to put a the digital sign say DND was very nice. Your staff was very lovely I had a wonderful conversation with Yuri. We came there wanting to relax and that is exactly what we got.

The A/C was a bit noisy when turning it off kept us up forming the night. One of the shower heads didn’t work properly but seen as there were two for us to choose from it didn’t bother us at all. Would like of had a bit more wardrobe space as I was sharing the room with my sister.

We loved the location and the easy access to the metro (Noord station)- it was so easy to move to/from the city, as the Centraal station was just 2 stops away. The room was clean with beautiful & modern interior design. The small gym on the 7th/8th floors was also a plus, for some basic morning workout. One the first floor, you will find a nice bar/restaurant area. There is a super market across the street, which is useful, as well as a nice food court within the metro station, with some pretty good burger and Italian options, among others. Overall, we considered it value for money, with a great location, if you consider using the metro and public transport. Would prefer again!

The pillows were not comfortable for me, but that’s just a personal preference.

Great location - steps away from a metro station that takes you to the centre in 2 stops (direct). Convenience stores and food outlets nearby. Checkin staff were accommodating and helpful. Basic but functional 24/7 gym. Overall, would recommend and would definitely stay again.

Rooms are dark at night - can be easily fixed with addition of a simple floor lamp. Housekeeping efficient but can be improved - cups/plates weren’t refreshed unless placed exactly in the refreshments station (even a half empty glass of water) and only 2 small bottles of water provided on first night during a 7 night stay. Add more weights to gym - eg odd number weights!

The best part of the stay was the location. Noord metro station is practically next door. Bus station is adjacent to the metro. There is a food court inside the station and also a take away shop. There is also a mart right opposite to the station. If you walk around there are other restaurants. Shopping centre Boven 't Y is also nearby with 150+ shops. The Bathroom was clean and the shower was modern with good water pressure and temp control.

Breakfast and food option within the hotel is expensive. The vending machine options were also not great. The most weird part were the pillows which were like giant boulders and very uncomfortable to sleep.

We stayed at Tribe Amsterdam City Hotel during our trip to Amsterdam, and it truly exceeded our expectations. The hotel was incredibly clean, the rooms were modern, spacious, and designed with attention to detail. Housekeeping was very meticulous—our room was cleaned daily, and all areas were spotless. The service quality was outstanding. The staff at the reception were friendly, helpful, and always solution-oriented. Both check-in and check-out were quick and smooth. You can really tell they care about guest satisfaction. The location is another big advantage. The hotel is just a few minutes’ walk from the metro station, making it very easy and quick to reach the city center and all major attractions. It’s a huge plus for those who don’t want to walk too far. Despite all this high quality, the price was very reasonable. In terms of value for money, this hotel truly stands out. In short, this is definitely a place we’ll choose again without hesitation on our next trip to Amsterdam. If you’re looking for cleanliness, comfort, easy transportation, and friendly service, I can highly recommend it!
