Rooms are very very small for the money.

Very nice and cozy hotel with very central location! Underground station is next to the corner which make hotel location even better! Multiple attractions are in 5-15minutes walk. Staff is nice, polite and helpful! Our stay was nice and full of good memories! Thank you Team of St. Ermins Hotel!

Boring part: Value for money is a question for me in this case. One room with two double beds in it... it's surprise for such price. Somehow I've missed to understand that two double beds will be in one room while booking this hotel. Consider this point when you'll book it. Room is very small, but it's fine if you are visiting London to spend more time outside and not spend much time in the hotel (it was our case), but then you can't fully enjoy what hotel can offer you.

Classy hotel with character. Once I had moved room, it was comfortable and allowed for a good rest. Staff were friendly and helpful, not least in the bar and restaurant. Restaurant food was high quality and innovative without being fussy. Overall, the hotel tries hard to live up to its reputation. Location is excellent.

Even though I deliberately booked a superior room, the initial room I was allocated was tiny and overlooked the air conditioning system at the back of the hotel. I requested a change and got a slightly bigger room at the front of the hotel. I get tired of 5 star London hotels charging £400-500 a night (room only) and offering rooms barely suitable for one person, let alone two.

The hotel location is great, just 2 minutes walking distance from St. James ´s Park tube station, walking distance to Westminster, Parliament, Buckingham Palace. It has a truly unique atmosphere. We felt welcomed the minute we entered the hotel. All the staff was excellent. Wide variety of choices for breakfast, also gluten free, vegan, vegetarian - attention to food allergies. We can not complain about anything, had an excellent time there and my children already miss it and want to go back :-) . Would definitely go back again if travelling to London.

Not that we did not like, just the size of the Deluxe, Guest room, 2 Double we booked for 2 adults and 2 children (age 10 and 14) was at the end a little bit small for us - not enough space to unpack and store 4 luggage's so next time we would go either for 2 connecting rooms or for a family room with 2 bathrooms as our girls are teenagers and need their privacy.

The beds are American-comfortable, compared to some bad beds I had in Scotland (sorry Scotland, still love you). The breakfast set-up is incredible. Full English breakfast in covered dishes, replenished by the kitchen as needed. Bagel/toast station, bagel toppings station, lunch meats, yogurt, cereal, juices. It takes up the entire bar area and is generous and good. As a SOLO TRAVELER I felt safe and seen. Well worth it!

I expected better from the dinner cooked in the restaurant (I couldn't identify my lamb by sight or taste); however, the salad tasted like it was picked 5 minutes before serving. All was well, though, as my waiter took it off my check and the next morning I was able to speak with the Food & Guest Experience manager, who made it right by offering me afternoon tea on him. The tea was lovely.

There is nothing not to like. The hotel has history, charm, extremely comfortable facilities. The rooms are impeccable. Breakfast buffet is British at its best - although we did miss porridge and eggs Benedict in the mornings (which are only available in the a la carte menu). And ALL the staff are simply extraordinary.

We did have a mishap with our room upon arrival. Since we were checking in very late nothing could be done that night, but the next morning the staff deal with the situation very diligently and we exchanged rooms without any problem.

Room was very comfortable and clean. The staff was very welcoming and polite. Not many tv channels to watch. The breakfast was awesome! There was great selection and the staff was very helpful and made you feel welcome! The location of the hotel was within walking distance of the bus tours and other attractions

There weren’t many tv channels to watch. There want much choose on the dinner menu. The shower operation was confusing.

The bathroom we had in our room on our stay April 6, 2025, had nowhere to accommodate our toiletries. We understand this is an old, historic hotel, but feel that perhaps additional cabinets or shelving could be added under the sink area? Otherwise, it was a lovely stay. Thank you!

We stayed in the executive suite with one separate bedroom. The suite is just big enough for 3 people. You can open the windows also which is a big advantage over many hotel rooms. The location is perfect, about 10 minutes from Buckingham Palace, Trafalgar, etc. The staff was nicer and more accomodating than at Prince Akatoki.

Up to 10 minute wait to get to breakfast and towards 9am, there's not much left. Not all of the buffet plates are refilled either.
