We stayed in The Guardsman room where we had a luxurious stay. The bedroom was beautiful and very comfortable, our bathroom was wonderful with a rainfall shower and a gorgeous bath! We were able to slide the doors back that separated the bath to our bedroom which enabled us to have a lovely bath and watch a film at the same time! Breakfast was brilliant, very tasty and filling, with everything cooked to a high standard. Staff were always on hand to help in anyway they could and gave great service. I would definitely recommend a stay here if you'd like to spend a few days exploring London.

The only thing negative I could say about our room is that the mini bar prices were quite high but that is always to be expected!

Room facilities were very modern and techy. Design was in good taste. There were little touches that showed that the hotel is not sparing on the small details.

The room was very small with almost no closet space. It was a one night stay so it was not so bad. But if I had to manage in this room for a longer stay, I'm not sure how I could manage comfortably.

Breakfast very good indeed - possibly the best Eggs Benedict I've ever eaten! The wait staff seemed a little bamboozled with 15 covers in on one morning though when orders were mixed up, items forgotten etc. They were very lovely though. Zoe on reception was a highlight - so warm & helpful. Can't fault the location with the QE2 convention centre a 5-10min walk away, reasonable restaurants within easy access plus shopping centre only 5 mins walk away if you've forgotten any essentials. The room facilities were excellent and I thought the handwritten note on my room on arrival was a very thoughtful touch.

A bit of a mess with the billing of my account ending up with being double charged, which caused me some trouble. No response to my email to Reservations was disappointing.

Celebrated my birthday, postgrad graduation, my partner's graduation, and our anniversary here and I am so happy we chose this place. Lovely, quiet location steps away from Buckingham Palace and St James's Park. Lovely, friendly staff and very very clean, which I love. I also really like the lobby - it's small, intimate, and non-intimidating. It just feels like coming home (to your own luxury apartment) rather than going to a hotel

The restaurant was under reservation so the room service/in-room dining was very limited. My partner and I love room service so wish we could have had more options

Professional staff, accomodating, good service overall, clean and pleasant room, great location.

Minifridge was not really that cold, but nothing really important.

Overall, everything was excellent. The staff were very professional, friendly, and helpful. The hotel had a comfortable bed, awesome shower pressure, and a great location. The bathroom had both a large rain head and hand held, with heated floors. It is walking distance from the main locations, such as St Paul Cathedral, Buckingham Palace, National Gallery, Westminster Abbey, Kensington Palace, etc. Several restaurants and pubs were walking distance. The hotel restaurant and room service were timely and serviceable.

Everything was great, but there were just a couple of issues. One of the issues was the WIFI, which seems quite unreliable in Europe. I would recommend bringing your own Hotspot. I was attempting to get some work completed, but unfortunately, the network was in and out. I did have a better connection utilizing their guest library. Another issue was finding the hotel. The hotel sign should be more prominent. Several of my taxi drivers had a hard time finding it. The gold entrance doors did help slightly.

Wonderful staff - kind, helpful, attentive and provided a personal touch. We were also offered a complimentary drink at the hotel bar with our stay which was a lovely gesture. The bed and pillow was incredibly comfortable, the television doubled as a mirror & allowed chrome casting from phones/tablets and the lovely bathroom even had underfloor heating. Incredible location, within a 5 minute walk of a tube stop, lovely cafes, The Ivy and Buckingham palace. Also within close walking distance of Westminster Abbey, Southbank and Covent Garden. A perfect stay - I highly recommend

There was no iron in the room and as with many hotels, the lighting isn’t the best when trying to apply make up.

Nice, efficient, trendy, great staff, friendly and helpful. Room was great. I liked the overall design theme a lot.

There was a humming noice from pipes(?) that woke me up at 04.00 and then again and again.

The Guardsman is in a fabulous location in the heart of London, close to many attractions, parks and St James Park underground station is less then 5 minutes walk away. Even though you're in the heart of London it's so quiet and we never heard a thing or were disturbed during our stay there. The staff here are wonderful, the two ladies on reception couldn't do enough for us during our stay and any niggles that we had, which were minimal were all sorted promptly. During our stay we only had breakfast once which was delicious and plentiful. We initially booked for 3 nights but enjoyed our time so much we booked for a 4th night. Would I return - definitely!

The only thing that I found strange was the offer of the complimentary welcome drink, if you can offer a glass of red or white wine then surely you can offer a cold beer.

Beautiful hotel in a great location. Beautiful reception area and lounge. Our flight arrived very early morning and we dropped luggage and left for a day of walking. Reception said they would text or call when room was ready. They insisted they did try to contact us, but for the first time ever, these texts and calls never reached our phones. Nevertheless, we were able to go to our room about an hour earlier than check-in, which was great. Lovely and quiet, despite being just a few mins walk to The Mall. Gorgeous room with lovely decor. Very comfy bed and nice room facilities.

Staff were okay, one female receptionist a little patronising. Just no real stand-outs in terms of warmth or kindness. Felt uncomfortable just for walking through the breakfast area to use the toilet - said hello/smiled but was ignored/frowned at, etc. Room was overpriced for what it is. Bathroom was tiny and difficult to use - very dark, bad lighting, shower door could not open without having to move bathmat, faucet broke and had to jiggle till it worked. Our towels and robes would simply disappear some days and we'd have to phone reception to ask to have them returned/replaced. Very odd.
