Booking in was smooth and civilised - we were offered a seat and a cold drink as soon as we walked through the door. Excellent staff. Smart decor and convenient location. Beds were very comfortable with lovely linen and shower was great!

Just one small thing - the green light on the ceiling was very bright - it lights up the whole room when it's dark. I really struggle to sleep if I cannot get the room dark. I realise it is probably on the smoke alarm and a safety issue but a small cowl around the light would stop it shining directly into the eyes of someone in the bed and reduce the light level in the room at night without covering it completely.

Room facilities were very modern and techy. Design was in good taste. There were little touches that showed that the hotel is not sparing on the small details.

The room was very small with almost no closet space. It was a one night stay so it was not so bad. But if I had to manage in this room for a longer stay, I'm not sure how I could manage comfortably.

We stayed in The Guardsman room where we had a luxurious stay. The bedroom was beautiful and very comfortable, our bathroom was wonderful with a rainfall shower and a gorgeous bath! We were able to slide the doors back that separated the bath to our bedroom which enabled us to have a lovely bath and watch a film at the same time! Breakfast was brilliant, very tasty and filling, with everything cooked to a high standard. Staff were always on hand to help in anyway they could and gave great service. I would definitely recommend a stay here if you'd like to spend a few days exploring London.

The only thing negative I could say about our room is that the mini bar prices were quite high but that is always to be expected!

Breakfast very good indeed - possibly the best Eggs Benedict I've ever eaten! The wait staff seemed a little bamboozled with 15 covers in on one morning though when orders were mixed up, items forgotten etc. They were very lovely though. Zoe on reception was a highlight - so warm & helpful. Can't fault the location with the QE2 convention centre a 5-10min walk away, reasonable restaurants within easy access plus shopping centre only 5 mins walk away if you've forgotten any essentials. The room facilities were excellent and I thought the handwritten note on my room on arrival was a very thoughtful touch.

A bit of a mess with the billing of my account ending up with being double charged, which caused me some trouble. No response to my email to Reservations was disappointing.

Everything about this hotel is simply stunning, relaxing, luxurious and everything is catered for. The team are amazing and so attentive, the detail around the hotel and in the rooms, such as touch pad controls, heating, A/C, mini bar area and finishing touches were very well thought out. Bed was super comfy, pillows too, we actually looked to see which ones they were! Breakfast was nice and although the drinks were cold they quickly made fresh ones when we mentioned it. Just a perfect stay!

Guys, you really have a great hotel. Your staff is truly exceptional — friendly, helpful, and professional. I really appreciated how I was treated. Thank you for that. But there’s a big “but.” Why do you consider a room with almost no windows suitable for guests? A hole in the wall facing a pipe doesn’t count as a window. Is this the kind of room you give to your special guests? Or does everyone who books through Booking.com get this kind of “bonus”? If that’s your standard, then sadly, it doesn’t match the high level of service your team provides. Honestly, it felt like I was staying in a storage room rather than a guest room. Thankfully, your staff did their best to make up for it.

Celebrated my birthday, postgrad graduation, my partner's graduation, and our anniversary here and I am so happy we chose this place. Lovely, quiet location steps away from Buckingham Palace and St James's Park. Lovely, friendly staff and very very clean, which I love. I also really like the lobby - it's small, intimate, and non-intimidating. It just feels like coming home (to your own luxury apartment) rather than going to a hotel

The restaurant was under reservation so the room service/in-room dining was very limited. My partner and I love room service so wish we could have had more options

Had a wonderful stay here, it really is a first class hotel with lovely atmosphere, super helpful and friendly staff, great service and very comfortable rooms. Somehow they’ve managed to balance modern elegant interiors with “old world” features and decor, so it feels classic but also very modern. Bathrooms are particularly lovely. Love that you can leave your luggage with them before check in, and that this was then taken up to our room for us when we did check in. For a 5-star place it feels very classy but also homely, which is not an easy thing to achieve!

It’s hard to identify something not to like here! The rooms are a little on the small side, but it’s a small building. I would go for a king room or larger is available next time.

This is a super nice hotel with a location that is absolutely ideal for London - you can walk to enjoy everything from shopping to parks to sites (Buckingham Palace a mere minute away) or the tube is just round the corner for anything slightly further way. Its small and personal, super friendly and completely welcoming. Rooms are small but have everything you need and who needs a big room on a London trip when you're barely in the room. They are clean and very comfortable. Staff are extremely nice.

We stayed for 2 nights so we were a little disappointed not to have the complimentary water replaced (especially on one of the hottest days of the year so far) but I'm sure if we'd asked they would have.

The staff is very nice, the location is perfect, central. The area is gorgeous. The hotel is modern and clean. The double room is small but very functional with very well designed storages. The hotel is quiet and the beds are very comfortable. It's also dog friendly.

There is nothing to dislike. The only little thing that could have been helpful is if dogs could have been left unattended for a short amount of time in the room. Our dog needs to sleep during the day. She doesn't bark at all so she wouldn't have disturbed anyone. It was a bit difficult not being able to let her rest in the room. Otherwise the hotel is perfect! Thanks to all the staff for making our stay great!
