Very happy with my stay at Ibis Bratislava Centrum. My room was comfortable with a very large desk, sufficient storage space, good lighting and a well-designed bathroom. The location is perfect – close to the Old Town, a short walk from the Castle, and within easy walking distance from the main bus station and the Vienna boat. The breakfast was good and plentiful, and staff at reception and in the breakfast room were very helpful. I enjoyed my stay in beautiful Bratislava and at comfortable Hotel Ibis so much that I extended my stay by an extra night. I certainly recommend Ibis Bratislava Centrum.

No tea / coffee making facilities, neither in the room nor in public areas of the hotel.

Breakfast was good. Location was brilliant. Each member of staff was polite and friendly.

An IT glitch occurred on 12/1/25 when I booked 4 nights on the booking.com website. (WiFi was slow and I double clicked on payment so was doubly charged. It was a non cancellation option BUT was an absolute error. Errors do occur. I rang booking.com 3 times. Spoke to different individuals whose English wasn't good. One hung up on me. I can't get through in writing to booking.com. I appealed to Andrea in Ibis, Bratislava, to bring the error to her manager's attention and see if a refund can be made under 'exceptional' circumstances.

Excellent location and value for the money. The city centre is quite close, you can reach it on foot. Even some of the distance parts of the city are within reach of ~40min walk. Close is the tram station and SNP bus station. Breakfast was absolutely amazing and excellent value for the money. There were wide variety of options which were slightly changing every day. Room was very clean, big and spacious, and bed was comfortable. Staff was always kind and helpful which is a major plus. Maybe minor con was the power outlets, there weren’t ones next to the bed, yet next to the desk that was in the corner of the room.

After making my reservation, I started checking the reviews and noticed several comments about the hotel’s age and quality. To be honest, this made me a bit apprehensive before my arrival. However, from the moment I stepped into the hotel, the receptionists who welcomed me immediately put me at ease. Although I don’t remember their names, they were truly passionate about their work. When I entered my room, I found it to be a standard Ibis room nothing more, nothing less. However, it was spotless and impeccably clean, with all the expected Ibis-standard amenities. After checking out, I realized how unfair some reviews can be. Expecting an ultra-luxury experience from Ibis, one of the best value-for-money hotel brands in the world, is simply unreasonable. I sincerely congratulate the General Manager for leading such a fantastic team and maintaining a well-run hotel. Thank you for making my trip with my son truly unforgettable.

Whilst the exterior of the building could use a little love (cracked/missing tiles on some of the steps up to reception) the interior is fine. Nothing fancy, just a perfectly acceptable budget hotel. Reception/bar area is light and pleasant, the breakfast room is nicely decorated and the continental breakfast was varied and fresh. The bedroom was a reasonable size and had adequate space for clothes hanging etc. The bed was comfy (though we had to ask for additional pillows as only one each is provided.) There is a hairdryer but it's not the best. It did the job but if you can bring your own I would recommend you do so. The location is just 5 minutes from the beautiful old town and is also very close to the castle. There are buses and trams passing close to the hotel also so easy to get around.

There was no ironing board/iron in the room, though they may have provided one if asked (we didn't). Also, there are no sockets at the side of the bed (room 402). Not sure if that applies in all rooms of course. We had to charge on the dressing table/desk so perhaps an extension lead or very long USB cables a good idea to take.

I recently stayed at Ibis Bratislava Centrum for two nights during my trip to Bratislava, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience! The location is unbeatable—right in the heart of the city, within walking distance to the Old Town and major attractions. It's also very convenient for public transportation, making it easy to explore the city. The room was clean, modern, and equipped with all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. The bed was particularly comfortable, ensuring I got a good night's rest after long days of sightseeing. Despite being centrally located, the hotel was quiet and peaceful at night. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with any questions or recommendations. They made my stay feel warm and welcoming. I also appreciated the quick and efficient check-in and check-out process. Overall, Ibis Bratislava Centrum is an excellent choice for anyone visiting Bratislava, whether for leisure or business. I highly recommend this hotel for its great value, comfort, and top-notch service. I’ll definitely stay here again on my next visit.

I spent many hours researching the best hotel to book for our stay & could not be happier that for the price, this was the BEST choice. The location is perfect!. The rooms are small but adequate & comfortable. The towels were changed every single day. The garage car parking is very safe. The staff are helpful,

The room was very warm (we didn’t seem able to control this?). We had no smaller hand towel like many others have mentioned. Luckily we already read that there was no kettle so we bought one with us.

The staff is the best !!! After 1 hours I check inn, the electricity in my bedroom total off, I think it happened to all room in hotel but when I checked it only 2 rooms in 2nd floors. When I make a report to the receptionist, they call directly the electricity mechanic and fixing it. In 10 minutes the electricity going back normal

The airconditioning in my room not working well. All night I must open the window because I feel very hot. And the noisy sound from the Trem is very loudly. And when the breakfast time, they don't have English breakfast tea, meanwhile I don't like the others tea flavors

The hotel is in a great location. As others have said it is right by the tramline so can be noisy. If you check in at 3pm you should be able to get a quiet room at the back. The hotel was clean and beds reasonably comfortable and is a good price for a budget hotel in Bratislava. The best thing though is the reception staff - they are so helpful and polite.

The air con is very noisy but I was still grateful to have it in 29 degrees - plus always have ear plugs with me anyway.

The Personal which assists us, was very friendly and helpful, this brought to the entire Establishment a positive Aura. There was something unexpected happened during our stay but due to the competent presence of their front employee and security that night, they solved the problem emidiately and we've enjoyed our short stay, lastly food was excellent. The personel in the food section was also great. We had a wonderful time and will be coming again for sure! Thanks and wishing you a wonder day.
