Requested balcony room with view over river was supplied, view was fantastic. Large club suite with seating area, galley style kitchen area, large bathroom with whirlpool bath, double sink/vanity, large monsoon shower cubicle. Extra large bed and large TV and dressing facilities in the bedroom. Club suite gave access to club lounge which is great for warm and cold snacks and soft and alcoholic drinks -inclusive of the room package- but be aware of the dress code for men -covered toe shoes and long trousers no vests. Has an amazing view as well. As a resident Access to the upper floors (the dome and other bars/restaurants) is easy and the eye-watering cost of drinks, at time of writing £35 for a cocktail makes them probably just a quick pop up there, take a snap and leave. Breakfast is served by the pool and is extensive and everything is on offer; egg station, fruit, meats, pastries, sushi, yoghurt, Asian dishes etc etc.

Drinks prices are excessive in the bars and room service -December 2023 - 2 small beers delivered to room were £14 each. Pool was surprisingly cold and the 'hot tub' area was no different in temperature. No mini-bar in room which in a suite wasn't acceptable.

• The fact that when the deposit it charged, which is not a small amount, they don't explain to you that it takes 2 weeks to get back to you once you leave the hotel. • How expensive are the drinks at the rooftop bar and a very bad selection of drinks available for that price. • The fact that the room will be disinfected through the day without permission or acknowledgement. You'll find out once you come back to the room, by a ticket at the door, that someone has been there. That was weird. Usually, the housekeeping only comes in the morning. And if anyone is to go into people's room through the day without permission, that should be explained to detail on check-in..

Location great being about 10m walk to the ferry and skytrain. Was a good base. Loved the big room and views. Pool area good. Breakfast fantastic. Staff excellent.

The room had the most amazing view. Breakfast was incredible with lots of variety.

We wanted to visit the rooftop bar for a drink, but we were almost forced by the staff to have a drink on a lower floor. So by the time we got to the top floor, we didn't feel like having another one. As guests at the hotel, i wish our wishes had been heard.

Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Room very clean and excellent facilities, comfortable beds and great view. Really enjoyed breakfast, choice and location very good.

Disappointed with lunch. Ordered calamari which was cold and rubbery when served, after a wait of over 25 minutes. Only 2 other tables in the restaurant! Asked server to just take back and take off bill and they reserved us the same calamari REHEATED! Could not believe a hotel of this standard would think this was okay. Also looked upwards when waiting for food and was amazed to see how dirty the AC vents were.

Very well organized hotel. I arrived the afternoon when there was the earthquake and in Bangkok it was very chaotic all around. I appreciated they gave a free dinner buffet at Mozu restaurant to the guests checking in that day because they had to evacuate all staff and guests, and some room weren't yet ready in the late afternoon. By the way, the choices and quality of food at the buffet were really great to suit every taste. Amazing and stunning restaurants and bars in the high floors of this hotel. View at night from Sky Bar at The Dome is unbelievable, it surely worth a visit. Breakfast in the morning scrumptous, plenty of choice, a lot of pastry and bakery items, cooked hot food, Indian, international and Thai corners .....Dumplings .... Sushi .... Maybe a lot more things but I couldn't try everything .... Impeccable cleaning in the rooms. Very smart, polite and professional staff everywhere in and around the lobby, at the reception, in the various restaurants and bars. WiFi perfect always, all the time. The only little thing that I didn't understand: the first morning after my arrival, at 9.00 am or so, a lady rang twice to my door asking if I had any laundry to give (and this was a bit weird, to be honest, both for the time and because I had just arrived the previous evening): it didn't cause me any problem, though. This is a luxury, iconic hotel that worth a visit for sure, even just to go in one of the restaurants and bars on the top floors.

Old but gold. Stayed in the HUGE premire suite, which I think has the best layout for a hotel for remote working holiday makers. It's essentially an apartment. A small kitchenette and the best feature ...the sliding door to partition the sleeping area away from the rest of the apartment. 2 people could work here easily in their own space. Brillaint staff...so lovely and accommodating. Aquafit on Monday was fun. The best breakfast I've EVER seen. The neighbourhood is useful; as I didn't want to eat at the establishments, there's a substantial local food court and street food market at Central Bangrak mall. Super safe. However it's a daytime place so most places shut at 9pm

Having to share the lift with the annoying visitors to the rooftop bar. Drunk young men recreating the Hangover 2 scene. They should be online paid ticketed, details recorded if not a guest. No reservations, no entry. Guests in possession of a key fob pay discounted prices. The incredibly patient staff should not have to be forced to "upsell"drinks. It's tacky and not becoming of a 5* establishment. Literally people off the street wandering drunk though a Michelin star restaurant made me book elsewhere for my meals. The walls are very thin, literally heard whole conversations (and lovemaking) from neighbours. If the walls could be as thick as the sliding doors

The staff was very friendly&attentive, the room was super spacious and very clean. An early checkin at 11am was possible, which was great after a long flight. The breakfast buffet is amazing! We had a beautiful view over the river&city. Good location, close to skytrain and boats.

The walls are thin and you can hear next door very well - we we’re unlucky and had a loud room-neighbor (loud music, shouting and loud talking all after 11pm). The Whirlpool was rather cold, the heating was not working, but the pool&fitness area are very nice! The skybar is very expensive (really amazing view though!!) but you do not have to pay entry like in others.

Our stay at this hotel was unforgettable. The view of the river from the 52nd floor was simply breathtaking, especially at sunset—an experience worth every penny. The comfort, attention to detail, and exceptional service from the staff stood out. The breakfast was truly 5-star, offering everything you could imagine—even sushi! The rooftop on the 64th floor provided a stunning panorama of Bangkok, making it a must-visit spot.

While the hotel carries a rich history, the décor shows its age, and the soundproofing in the room was disappointing. We could clearly hear conversations from the neighboring room, which felt unacceptable for a 5-star hotel. Despite these flaws, it’s a fantastic choice for a dream night or a special occasion. The views and amenities make it worth a visit.

Staff are so professional. Impressively trained. We stayed at the Lebua twice this trip. First was better than the second mainly down to the bed comfort - second stay was a hard mattress. We went up the the rooftop bar for a drink. We didn’t appreciate being herded like goats away from the bar/restaurant area to a small quiet area & offered champagne. We’ve stayed at the Lebua many times & knew the lay of the land. We just upped and made our own way to the bar, leaving many guests to purchase champagne not knowing the commercial trap they were in. Wasn’t appropriate. Blatant commercialism. The staff on the ground floor were separating people ‘drinks or dinner’ & putting them in different lifts. NOT GOOD!!
