Very nice

There was no heater in our room , its was very cold, our room smelled like kitchen

We loved our stay at Auberge du Bois Prin! The location is peaceful and just a short walk from the center of Chamonix—though the walk back is up a steep hill. That said, it’s worth it for the incredible views of Mont Blanc. The room was cozy, spotless, and well-equipped, and we especially enjoyed relaxing on the balcony. The quiet surroundings made it feel like a true escape. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Would definitely stay here again for the comfort, views, and charm.

The walk from the town is short but steep uphill.

First time in our 20 years of travelling, I feel the score for my review goes beyond the 10 scale! This is definitely a hidden gem with its charming character and outstanding service. The minute you enter Augerge du Bois Prin, you feel like a part of their community. And the comes the room with its stunning views that you can not bit! The restaurant also deserves a credit with its fine dining standard and only local organic produce. Special thanks to Maxim who made us feel so so welcome and was always keen to help. But we must extend big thanks to the whole team of extremely friendly and warm people! We will most definitely be back over the winter to experience this beautiful place aging!

If I can point out, one thing, it would be maybe the breakfast. We believe 25€ per person is a fair price, and being charged for eggs is a bit unfair, considering limited options within.

The view over Mount Blanc range was just breathtaking from the superior room and the dining room. The superior king bed room was very comfortable a generous size, great bed and pillows. The breakfast was delicious, especially the detox juice and the bread and croissants. Just a short 10 min walk down the hill to the town below. We also loved the hot tub outside looking up towards Mount Blanc. The staff were always friendly, smiling and willing to help with any questions.

There was nothing that we didn't like staying here.

Traditional, clean, wonderful setting with fantastic view of Mont Blanc and the snow clad mountain range from every room. Breakfast on the balcony was lovely and service from all of the staff was friendly and helpful. Cannot fault them.

Not that I didn’t like it but the walk back up from Chamonix town is quite steep but as said before the auberge’s position is fabulous. There is a bus stop very close which has buses running into town and is free with your Carte D'Hote given to you by the Auberge for the duration of your stay

Everything about the hotel was fantastic - superb location (if you don’t mind a walk up the hill from town - which we didn’t!), the staff who were all very friendly and kind, the food was incredible and the room always clean and very comfortable. On one of the days we also ordered a sandwich to take on a hike - definitely worth it in our opinion! We will definitely be back.

Great views from our room. Plenty of space . Staff were friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was very good although they might have had a few more options. Did not have dinner there although several people indicated it was excellent. Location was a short drive to the center of town and close to many activities.

Noticed an odor in the hall and room that probably came from food preparation area although we couldn’t be 100% sure.

The view is exceptional; I loved seeing the mountains, even on a cloudy day. The breakfast was lovely, and we ate lunch at the restaurant one day and it was so good. Best meal we had all holiday, with amazing service.

Everything was amazing, we did originally get a room downstairs, which looked great, and it was really big. But, it does have a garden instead of a balcony, and given that it rained the whole weekend, our view wouldn't have been as nice had we stayed there. Luckily for us, they were able to move us upstairs. Had the weather been better, this room would have been just as good, especially in the summer as it would have been a great place to sit and look out onto the mountain in the sun.

Wow. Wow. Wow. What a place! To spend the evening sitting on the balcony looking over at Mont Blanc and Aigulle Du Midi wow. 🤩 breathtaking! The room was exceptional, so clean and comfortable. The lady at reception was so welcoming as well showing me to my room & all my amenities etc. A once in a lifetime stay, I’d love to stay here again.

Everything about this facility was incredible. Super close to ski fields, catering staff, luxurious rooms. Yoy really felt you were in a special retreat. Mont blanc felt right at your finger tips! I also received a massage and it was 10/10

It was disappointing our safe didn't work and we had no TV the first night but the TV was fixed very quickly.
