This hotel is a little way out of town, a walk of about five minutes from the bus station. There is not only a bus stop but a tiny train station almost right outside the hotel door. The room was quite small and there was neither television nor kettle. I did miss the kettle, but I had no need for the television. I signed up for dinner, and the meals were very enjoyable. What was particularly good was the friendliness of the staff. It is only a small place and so I got to know them very quickly. If I returned to Chamonix I would have no hesitation in staying there again.

Very friendly and helpful staff and owner, in the beautiful setting of the Mont Blanc surroundings. Its a small walk into town, perhaps 10 minutes. Easy to park outside in the street, and the hotel has a small free parking lot of its own. Nice little restaurant in the hotel with good food and generous portions.

We are not very used to the half board stay with fixed dinner menus. While the kitchen did great accommodating for our vegetarian family members, it there is no alternative option for children. A suggestion is to have a simple chicken nuggets or pasta bolognese option available for kids if and when they want to step aside from the adult menu.

Our room with a view of Mont Blanc was wonderful. I could see the mountains and the glacier from the bed. The staff were very kind, smiling, and flexible with everything. The hotel garden is a great place to sit with coffee in the morning or a drink in the evening. We watched the World Cup in the bar with other guests, and it was a really good evening. The food was delicious, and the half-board option was a good choice. When they didn’t have what we ordered, they brought us something else instead. The city center is easily reachable by bus, on foot, or by train."

Although rated as a 2 stars hotel, I'd give it more. Great character, understated skiers hotel also good for other type of guests. Personnel was very friendly and atuned to our needs. Great breakfast, we loved it. Room was very comfortable with a nice ciew of the Montblanc and the Aiguille du Midi. Free parking on the hotel or in the street around the hotel. Nice location, ten minute walk from downtown and 50m from a bus and tram stop, which were free to use during our stay. Only minor point was a mold smell in the bathroom that could improve from air circulation. Oh, and no lifts, so it would be a problem for guests with reduced mobility.

We came here as a last minute getaway for the night and were so happy with everything. From the moment we were there, the receptionist was so friendly and helpful and we were greeted with a very warm welcome. The room was very clean and you could tell it was kept to a high standard. The next day our flight was delayed and after speaking to another very friendly receptionist, we were allowed to have a slightly later check out of the hotel so we wouldn’t be stuck outside with our luggage. Overall we were very happy with our stay and have already decided this is where we’ll stay when we visit in the future.

I stayed here twice. Once before my 10 day hike and then again for a few days after my hike. The location is great. The views are beautiful. But most importantly, EVERYONE that works here is so incredibly nice and helpful. The hotel had a beautiful energy and that is all due to the amazing staff. I would definitely stay here again. Other positives: Great water pressure in the showers. Very clean. Excellent location. A 7 minute walk to where the bus picks you up and drops you off from Geneva. Also, less than a 10 minute walk into town. As a solo traveler, I felt very safe.

Whilst it is a short walk out of town, the hotel offers stunning views of Mont Blanc. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. We booked a room with a balcony which offered stunning views of the mountain. The room was comfortable and equipped with everything we needed. The breakfast was good.

The evening meal each night was only one fixed menu (which changed every night).

All of the workers were absolutely nice and polite - from the kitchen workers to the receptionist. Everyone speaks English. The room was clean, dinner was amazingly tasty, the hotel is also nice located - only 5 min to the city centre. For the lifts you need to drive with a car or a bus, but it’s also not a problem - you get the free transport card for Chamonix and the bus stop is not so far away.

Bathroom is made directly in a room without a door, which can be completely closed.. If you are with a partner, be ready to hear and smell everything, what is going on on the toilet :D But as we found out it was the smallest room in the hotel, and we got it because we booked really late (about 2 weeks in advance)

Helpful staff. Lovely room looking over the mountains (we were at the back of the hotel but views from front and back). Was warm all the time so good in the snowy weather. Nice breakfast with plenty of choice. Train stop opposite the hotel and used that. Free travel card included in booking. Walked into the town (about 20 mins along the road). Drying room

Our room backed onto the stairs so you could hear people chatting when gathering in the reception area. But generally a quiet location.

Beautiful views straight out onto Mont Blanc and exceptional from the balcony. The room had everything we needed. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming and the bar was excellent with a garden to sit in and admire the views of the glacier. We did not eat but the food looked fantastic and we would definitely eat here next time. Short walk along a quiet road into town and easy parking.
