The hotel is very central - ideal for my trip as I was only staying for a night to continue my journey. I came via Eurostar and the train station Lille-Europe is just a straight 10 minute walk away to the hotel. As I continued further via Lille Flandres, the location was ideal as the hotel is located opposite the train station . The desk personnel was very polite and helpful.

Sadly you have to climb a very steep staircase to the recreation. Not good with heavy luggage, but the desk personnel helped with that. And unfortunately WiFi wasn’t working.

Given all the negativity in some of the reviews, I confess I wasn't expecting much. But it's a hotel in a narrow, old building close to busy Lille-Flandres. So there are going to be limitations. But - The rooms are clean and look freshly painted The bathrooms are very good, particularly the quite large shower The bed was very comfortable Regardless of some reviews on here, the Internet worked very well during my stay The location is excellent for sightseeing and onward travel and restaurants The staff are very friendly and helpful Despite the noise, I actually enjoyed the view of the station forecourt.

The lift is claustrophobically small but there probably isn't space for anything bigger

Comfy beds, nice shower room with toilet, couldn't be better access to the Gare de Flandres as it was directly opposite, a few minutes' walk from the Flixbus stop and Eurostar station. Plenty of places to eat and drink nearby, including supermarkets and bakeries for a quick snack or journey provisions. Friendly, helpful staff. I was only staying overnight on my way from Berlin to London, so I didn't get to see much of Lille.

Some people may be bothered by a certain amount of noise coming from the street at night. It didn't keep me awake though.

Great value for money, excellent location particularly for Eurostar. Very helpful reception team prior to arrival and also once we arrived. Allowed to move to a room at the back where likely to be quieter, however, the front rooms did have good soundproofing. Rooms are basic, but comfortable and functional.

Not much; shower leaked a bit onto surrounding floor but not really an issue, bath mat dealt with that. The steps up to reception are not a problem unless you have massive suitcases, there is a lift up to the rooms from reception.

Bed was neat, clean and comfortable. Location is very good for city centre. Nearby car parking available at 15 euro per 24 hours.🙂

Only 1 towel in room for 2 adults. No vanity screen or lace curtains on full hight windows. Tiny lift. Cheap and nasty shower fittings with leaking screens and slippy floor. Shower tap easy to bump into as you showered. Danger of scalding if you bumped. No A/Con.

The location is perfect, just in the centre of the town. Staff are extremely gentle and provide you the best reception! The room is ok for its purpose, bed is comfortable.

The hotel is in a great location, it's super clean but please hang some picture on the wall in the room, anything so it doesn't look like a cell Barbara

I had no breakfast. Room only. The location was excellent. Right in the main square opposite Lille Flandres railway station.

The room was relatively small but in all honesty about what I expected. Only a short stay so not much potential for things to go wrong, and in fact nothing did. I had no issues whatsoever.

Less than a minute from my train platform, warm welcome, no fuss, relaxed atmosphere, clean room, great sleep. Exactly what I needed and what I paid for. Perfect for a business trip or a quick visit to Lille

No lift from ground floor to the reception
