The staff was very friendly when I arrived so I decided to stay at the hotel's restaurant to eat. The food was great even if I showed up late. I recommend their Flemish stew if you want a quick and hot dish to eat. The room is very clean and the bathroom big and comfortable. I had a view on Lille Flandres train station which look good from above and the wi-fi provided is very quick and reliable.

I don't have anything to say here. The reception is at the restaurant's desk below the hotel, which you need to look for a bit.

The location was excellent for our needs. The room was very clean with everything in it you’d expect. Happy to recommend.

Because of the location and no aircon or fan the window had to be left open. This meant a night of mosquitoes buzzing around and every outside noise (and there were plenty right through to 3.30 in the morning) echoing through the room. The day staff were excellent but in the morning the staff member on duty excelled in grumpiness.

The location is very good, not far from the stations and the centre of Lille. As an Englishman who doesn't speak French, I found the staff to be extremely friendly and helpful. Whether it was at breakfast or an evening meal, they were always attentive and would even put my phone on charge. Most of the staff spoke English if they could and nothing was too much trouble, I cannot praise them highly enough! The housekeeping staff were also very helpful and friendly. The food was so good, I ate there every night, delicious Carbonnade Flamande and Confit duck.

Great location at a great price. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I was over for the Lille v Aston Villa match, and wanted somewhere conveniently located at an affordable price. Le Napoleon was a great choice.

It was very noisy from outside in the early hours of the morning. However this was not the fault of the hotel, and I would still stay there again if I was to visit Lille. Thank you to the great staff.

I have to say that the room was small, but I was by myself, so not a problem. The hotel is about 100 feet from the train station, and about 400 yards from the Grand Plaza, and opposite is a large shopping mall, it is in a busy area, but in my room you could barely hear anything. The hotel has a restaurant and bar, I ate there one night and the food was nice and a reasonable price. I had a balcony overlooking the plaza. The bed sheets were like new and the shower, although a small cubical was good, for the price I found this hotel very good.

No airconditioning, got extremely hot when we were there in the summer. Opening a window did not help much since it is situated in a busy, noisy street and people were very loud at the bars/restaurants below.

Ideal location, very kind and cheerful staff, super neat and nicely decorated, the hotel was recently renovated.

The hotel being also a bar restaurant at the ground floor, avoid order a bottle of water for your room like I did : 5 Euros! more expensive than a dessert at the restaurant ( cheap and good)...

This hotel is what we were expecting and was good for a two night stay. Location is great being very close to the railway stations, especially since we were catching the Eurostar. We liked that it had a lift. Would have loved air conditioning in the room but wasn't too bad with the windows open, the days we were there it got to 29 degrees outside. The noise from the street didn't bother us at all.

Everything was OK and as expected for a 3 star hotel.

Location right by Flanders station, a few minutes walk from Grande Place. Traditional hotel with café bar as the way in. Our rooms had been redecorated and furnished recently. The staff were nice.

The en suite. The sanitary fittings looked new but there was not enough water pressure for the shower and the WC was not screwed into place so was unstable.

Le Napoleon is ideally situated for easy access to Lille Europe train station. The room was clean & comfortable. There's a lively bistro downstairs so you feel part of the Lille scene!

It would be lovely to have hot drink facilities in the room, ie for first thing in the morning!
