The location is hard to beat, situated only a few hundred meters from the train station. The room was small, but well planned enough and suited us just fine. It seemed recently re-furbished and the bathroom especially was very fresh and clean. Comfortable bed with good pillows. The breakfast was what you could expect in France, which to my experience is coffee and different kinds of bread. Everything was very fresh though and the buffet was nice and welcoming.

The lack of AC in the room was at times a slight discomfort although the fan did help. A mini fridge to keep drinks cool would have been a nice touch.

Very friendly staff. Perfect location very close to train stations but also to the nice squares in town centre. Room is comfortable and clean with tea making facilities. I LOVED the tea bags provided - in fact that was a main reason for rebooking... Remember to leave your key at reception each time you come and go, but the staff were very friendly and prompt so I never had to rate. Would stay again :)

Soundproofing is not good - noises from adjacent rooms, corridors are loud. My first stay I had a back room looking out over a small roof. Wouldn't want to have the window open due to cooking smells and not very photogenic but there was no street noise. Second stay, had a nice view out front which I preferred, but the street does stay noisy (as you might expect in a town centre) until late. Strong chlorine smell in bathroom after showering was a bit odd. Probably that is the town water and not hotel's fault.

Very clean. Modern. Remarkably quiet, dispite the location is a block away from the train station.

We stayed during the Tour de France and their was a markup on the room. But, to be fair, everyone else hiked up the prices on their rooms as well and this was the cheapest deal in town. Location is a block and I mean, literally a block, from the train station. Reminded me of being in Times Square, NY. Despite this, we had no safety issues or concerns. Tons of restaurants to choose from, right outside the door. Parking offsite about a block away.

Location was great. In the historical area and 5-10 mins walk from Eurostar Station. I believe my room was upgraded and it was a light and fairly good sized room. Room was clean and nicely decorated and I was happy with the room itself. Hotel is walking distance to all the sites and nice shopping area etc.

The communal areas could do with a touch up. No views from the window. Only the back of the buildings. could be seen When I opened the window I could smell the smells from a restaurant nearby. Probably because the window opened to the back of the building and their extractor fan opened on the same side. No cooked breakfast but there were other nice options and the staff who provided breakfast were very nice and helpful. I believe it was mainly pastries and maybe some cereals, also some yogurt pots. Don't think there were many gluten free or dairy free options but that didn't concern me and things that were there were ok.

Highly recommended hotel to stay with an excellent location, super friendly and informative staff at reception, clean and comfy rooms! Good variety of options for breakfast. Everything is a walking distance from bars, restaurants, stations and amenities! Amazing place and quiet given its central location. We truly enjoyed our one night stay and the recommendations from the male at reception were great!

Cannot find anything but if I have to ;-) will have preferred a double or king size bed rather than 2 singles joined but it don’t really matter in end as everything else was amazing!

Very friendly check-in and help with breakfast in the morning. A good-sized room with natural light from two windows. Modern bathroom and shower. And a great location for the Gare Europe and Gare de Flandres nearby!

All was fine, no issues. I was a happy traveller and had a pleasant stay in Lille. I didn't try any restaurants nearby as I was tired and wanted an early night.

This is a lovely hotel right in the centre of Lille with parking nearby and easy access to the train station and the centre of the city. The breakfasts were buffest style, simple but lots of fresh bread, pastries and unlimited coffee/tea/juices.

The only thing that bothered us was the noise of plumbing from the upstairs bathrooms, there was the sound of running water a lot of the time - I suspect this was to do with the age of the building. It would have been good to have more than 1 key for the room - there were 3 of us. There was a lot of noise from the street on the Saturday night but as we had been to the rugby match we expected this.

The hotel was clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. It is very close to the two main railway stations and also to the city centre of Lille. The breakfasts were basic continental but were still good. The bathroom was small but very good, clean and adequate for our needs with plenty of hot water and a good shower.

The hotel had not specified that it had air-conditioning, so we were not expecting it. This would have been alright except that we stayed during some exceptionally hot weather. The room was unbearably hot. This was not the fault of the hotel and the staff ensured that we had a fan in the room and gave us a second one as well, although it was hard to find enough sockets to plug them in and charge our phones. There were not enough electric sockets in the room (two, plus one in the bathroom).

Such a friendly reception, nothing was too much trouble and everyone’s English was excellent. The location was great, very convenient for the train station and in the middle of the city. Leaving our luggage on our day of departure was a real bonus, and the Christmas market was just beautiful. We have already recommended this hotel to family and friends.

The only small issue was being able to hear the plumbing in the rooms around us throughout our stay - it didn’t wake us up in the night but was quite noticeable when we were awake…

Perfect location for the city and right near the Lille Flandres station as we were only staying a night before moving on to Belgium. Only about 500 metres from the main Eurostar Lille Europe Station. Right nearby are some excellent inexpensive restaurants. The staff were very helpful and the room was very good. There are four levels accessible by lift or just a small flight of stairs if you are on the top floor.
