This budget hotel met my expectations. I stayed here on my first pilgrimage in 1981. If you book here don't expect all the lavish things from a more expensive place. The room was the right size as I was travelling alone. I had a balcony that looked out over the street which was nice in the early evening and at night to think about the days events. The bathroom left a lot to be desired though. I was small and cramped and the tiling on the floor by the toilet were loose. It did smell a bit foisty. But remember its a BUDGET hotel. I soon got used to the bathroom. There is no kettle at all. There is a TV but i didn't really use it. Bed was comfy. There is a lovely café right next to the hotel and their food was delicious and a good price too. accessibility wise, wheel chair users I don't think would be able to stay her, the corridors are tight and the lift I don't think would fit a wheelchair in. It is about 10-15 min walk to the domain which is all downhill. Coming back at the end of a long day was a bit of a slog. So overall I would really rate this for solo travellers or those who come on a tight budget. WI-FI is available I think is free. Thank you Duchesse Anne for a lovely stay. My pilgrimage was on full of a miracle for me.

Nothing really, I got what I expected

Having found myself with nowhere to stay at 10pm due to a booking error on the website, I as relieved to find this hostal. The young man at the check in desk couldn’t have been friendlier. The room is basic and a little tired, but exactly as shown in the pictures, and it seems to be the way with most places of this price bracket in Lourdes. But it was comfortable and I slept very well. Breakfast was basic, but ok and not expensive, and served with a smile, so a good start to the day. I would stay here again.

Location is 2 minutes walk to the lourdes sanctuary. Nice quiet room on a market street, plenty of restaurants and shops just next to you. Easy parking for my motorcycle.

No strong dislikes. Breakfast had to be arranged the day before.

Excellent central location with only 15 minutes by car away from airport. All the staff were very helpful. Very good breakfast. Room was very clean. Wonderful views from balconies. Close to all amenities with a pharmacy exactly opposite and lots of restaurants and cafeterias around.

Great central location with easy free parking nearby and breakfast/dinner options right outside the front door. Great value. Short walk to most places.

Wee bit run down and can be bit loud with thin walls.

The room and bathroom were clean. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The location was a nice walking distance to the Sanctuary and La Grotto. It is close to self-service laundromat.

Lourdes is a special place, made more special by people like the owner here who showed me warmth and kindness beyond. The hotel is a grand dame of Lourdes situated within close walking distance to both the town and the sanctuary in an open square, full of life and yet quiet, with all that you need around like restaurants and cafes and shops and including lots of parking which is a huge bonus in Lourdes. The rooms are clean and fresh with beds like clouds and a warmth and welcome that has made it feel like home. A beautiful staircase up to the rooms or take the lift, it is a pleasure to stay in a historic building like this one. Thank you for your kindness, your hospitality and generosity.
