Location. It's a few minutes walk from Gare de Lourdes if you are taking the train from your point of origin. Price of the room was very reasonable. January is obviously a low season, but Hotel Le Milan is worthy of your penny Accessibility to the grotto, public transportation, stores, restos. The room.that we booked was very clean, smelled fresh and it has a peek-a-boo view of the church's steeple.

Sounds from adjacent rooms could be heard. Fast talk, flushing of the toilet and even the blowing of nose is very audible from our room 😆 And as early as 9 AM, housekeeping is already busy with the vacuum cleaner in the adjacent rooms and at the hallway.

Lovely staff and owner; very welcoming and helpful with tourist advice and information. Very pet friendly and kind. We loved the personal touches and humble, down-to-earth approach taken. Rooms were cute, old-style with high ceilings. Really cool, multicultural area with yummy Sri-Lankan, South Indian and African restaurants all within a short walk to the fascinating parts of Lourdes. We loved eating out in the aforementioned restaurants. Amazing experience seeing the nightly religious festival/parade and beautiful historic sites, river and surrounding nature. Saint Bernadette's history family cottage is just around the corner from the hotel-still run by her decendants- preserved as a museum, very affordable and fascinating visit.

This was a very pleasant stay and I have nothing negative to say only fond memories. A very special place with lovely locals- do try the delicious Sri Lankan and South Indian curries- thali style- just divine! My husband and I were in food heaven.

For a cheap budget, family style hotel.close to town centre and a 5 minute walk from the basilique, it was superb for me...if you want luxury pay 10 times more, but without the local feel, which I think is important wherever you go....the rooms were clean and bed comfortable...the area is naturally humid and the heater in the room served me perfectly... A lot of the local hotels are closed at this time of the year and with breakfast and traditional evening meal optional, who needs more than that... Mona and all the staff were freindly and helpful, a little effort with the language, if not french gets a great return... Re-booked twice to see more of the surrounding area...the pyrenees is a beautiful and interesting place with a lot of local history worth discovering and if you want a simple base it's ideal..

I'm easy going, and quite simple... It's old fashioned , and I like that, if you want modern, it is not a theme in the hotel...

The property is in the heart of Lurd. The town it self has a pleasant energy. The hotel is small and the staff, Mr. Ostin at the reception desk was very friendy and he answerd on all my questions. Although I was very late in the evening and did not answer the email, I have got a good dinner served on my table. The breakfast was tasty and good. This acommodation is the best solution for single or couple visitors of the Lurd. I would it highly recomended, when would you like to go to Lurd and feel this peace and freedom. The town has a special energy.

The first 2days, at the reception, there were 2 men absolutely professional and always available to accomodate any request and able to speak English and italian. Room clean and confortable. Position of the hotel amazing.

Unfortunately the third day at the reception there was a woman that did not speak any others language than french, therefore i could not understand how/where/ to get the bus/tickets for going back to th3 airport.

Authentic, simple and has all that you need. Also the staff were amazing and very accommodating. Fantastic location to everywhere - shops, restaurants and Bernadette’s house next door. We could not have picked a better Hotel. Grateful to the Hotel for their understanding when there was a misunderstanding with our transport.

The staff people were wonderful. They waited for us while we came in quite late (because we were traveling with a big group by bus). They were so flexible and helpful. The breakfast were great thanks to the owner! We would definitely recommend this place! If you want to feel like home with your family and friends - this is the place for you. It was so easy to comunicate and find solutions with these guys. The rooms were great. Not the biggest but everything was included. It was clean.

I like the hotel's location. It is along the main street going to the sanctuary. It was easier to go back to the room when my partner needed to rest. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room is clean and the bed is comfortable. Definitely, value for money.

This is not really a thing that we did not like, this is more of a "sharing the experience" situation. There was a night that we went back a little late after the procession. We could not open the main door. We did not know the code. Maybe I missed that in the email or maybe it was not shared with us. Good thing that the staff passed by and saw us. Maybe they can communicate better the codes for the main door in case guests will be coming back to the hotel late in the evening.

The place is really close to the Grotto, very close to the train station, and everything. The place is clean and the reception Jose is really friendly and helpful, even though we stayed only a few hours in Lourdes to visit Grotto but its really nice place to stay for a while. Thank you, Jose, for your kindness. We definitely will come back again.

Location Near to the Sanctuary of Lourdes, the castle and the paternal place of St Bernadette. The staff, especially John(English name) was very helpful and welcoming. Allowed us to leave the baggage on check out for our late afternoon flight. Cool ambiance.
