The staff was amazingly supportive and professional, the location is good - near the busy part if the town, breakfast was very good, the hotel is close to the metro station, close to markets, bars and shopping mall.

It is maybe not the best option if you want to be in the busy side of the town (with bars, restaurants, crowd) near the old port, even though it is very close and walkable but maybe not good to walk alone from one side to another by your own during the night. Although I have to say that this side (north) of the port also offer many bars, restaurants and party options as well :).

Staff were absolutely amazing and made our stay so much better. Alba at reception spent a lot of time helping me sort my transport to Spain as I was having trouble. She was so helpful and patient. Nisrene and a lovely gentleman at the restaurant were wonderful, professional and offered great suggestions. Room was comfortable, spacious and clean. Nice big shower too. It was lovely to be offered late checkout.

Nothing major, housekeeping put one bathrobe and one pair of slippers, instead of 2. Not many amenities in the bathroom, only a shower cap.

I had a great stay at the NH Collection Marseille. The hotel was very clean, and the staff was welcoming and professional, always ready to help. The breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of choices, including delicious cheeses. The location is also convenient for exploring the city. Overall, a solid 4-star experience, and I would definitely stay here again!

However, one downside was the lack of complimentary water. We were three people, yet only one small bottle of water was provided, which was not enough. It would be great if the hotel could offer more water to guests.

A super comfortable hotel in the heart of Marseille. I was given a room upgrade without asking, and the room was enormous! The bed was huge, the bathroom excellent and the breakfast buffet was ample. For such comfort I might have expected to pay a little more - NH seems to be a chain that looks after its customers.

Snacks were left on the main room table, not in the mini bar - so it wasn't totally clear that these items were chargeable. I noticed this by reading the small menu sign but at first it looked like the chocolates and chips were free gifts.

Very clean, comfortable room with good air conditioning. I also liked the bar which had a nice selection of drinks. I also liked it that it stayed open until late and the service was good.

The restaurant was closed and no evening meal was available because of lack of staff. This is very poor as the hotel was advertised as having a restaurant and guests were not told it was closed before they arrived. NH should employ sufficient staff to work in the restaurant.

Great location, wonderful friendly staff, especially Nolan, but all the girls are super joyful and friendly as well! Love the people! breakfast is full of good options. More sweet treat than a dessert table, I love it!

Small details, it’s clean but the table has cup stains. Toilet is nice but bin lid is broken, sofa is good and comfortable but also has stain. It’s like the city Marseille, pretty but full of graffiti

The hotel is very modern, bright, clean and well-presented. Reception staff were friendly and helpful and the room itself was very nice: spacious, clean, comfortable beds, good bathroom etc. The hotel is located on a busy intersection, but our room was to the rear of the hotel and there was no noise. In terms of location, it was short walk of 5/10 minutes to the popular Le Panier district of arts shops and cafes etc. and a slightly longer walk 92/30 minutes) to the popular Vieux Port harbour area, so all in all the location was good. We only stayed one night so didn't have long to look around, but the hotel served our needs well for such a short stay and was only a short walk (albeit up a steep hill!) to get to the railway station. It would be much easier to arrive by train than to depart!

No problem with the hotel at all. Everything was great and no complaints whatsoever. Marseille as a city has its shabby, rough parts and could be described as being a bit on the tired side, which made the bright, modern attractive appearance of the hotel stand out all the more. Would definitely recommend staying there.

Good communication with the staff, nice tip to book in advance a parking lot at the nearby Q-Park La Joliette. The room was quiet, big and comfortable with some pleasant amenities (Nespresso machine with free coffee capsules), the bed was extremely comfortable, worth the money. The hotel is very nicely located, closed to Vieux-Port.

There is not foreseen parking lot to unload/load the car, which was quite frustrating in a city like Marseille. I spent some minutes to do the online check-in and they I was give a room I did not chose (bathtub instead of shower, different floor number) - the online checkin should be improved.

When we checked in, the hotel surprised us with a free upgrade to a premium room with free breakfast included (which we did not have booked). The size of the room was big with sofa and armchair. There was a desk and a big mirror. The bed was one of the most comfortable bed we have stayed ever. Good amenities. Exceptional buffet breakfast with high quantity and quality especially as we eat a lot! Staff was friendly and provided us with sufficient information regarding the port and how to easily access the train station. Location very convenient to access the port within walking distance (where the life of the city was situated).
