Located, locatio location. So close to everything in the Marais district, and we loved it. The rooms are clean and spacious. The beds are comfortable, and what a surprise, a huge bathtub ( for Paris) in the bathroom. There is a small elevator, so there is no need to carry your luggage up the stairs. Lovely sitting area in the lobby. The staff was cuteous and helpful. The breakfast area is unique and well stocked with food for breakfast. There is also a little store next door where you can purchase grocery items if needed. We would definitely stay here again. Thanks very much Sherry and Leigh from Vancouver, Canada.

The noise from the deliveries, early in the morning, from the store next door. Also, we requested more caffeine coffee and Black tea packages to be refilled each day. We are not decaffeinated coffee and tea drinkers.

Nice little hotel, excellent location, exceptionally friendly staff. Very good, safe neighborhood, nice convenience store right next door from the hotel, short walking distance to a metro station, many caffès, bakeries, restaurants around. The room was of decent size, had 2 separate comfortable beds, good size bathroom with bathtub, small fridge and coffee maker in the room. All of the staff, starting with the reception and ending with breakfast room staff and cleaning ladies, everyone was very kind, helpful and friendly. We arrived very early in the morning, but they honored our request for early check-in and our room was ready right away when we arrived!

We had a great stay, perfect location for a city trip to Paris, hotel is situated in one of the most vibrant parts of Paris with lots of great shops, bars and restaurants. I really like the "old" look and feel of the hotel; the carpet in the hall and corridors, the "antique" atmosphere of the whole hotel. Staff was friendly and rooms clean.

- The 4th bed in our family room was broken and replaced on arrival day after reporting it the first time, but that second bed was broken too. Hotel was not able to fix/replace this 2nd bed, during our stay. Our pragmatic solution was putting the mattress on the floor and the broken bed aside. Not a big issue for us because our 12 year old slept there, but regarding the price I would have expected a solution. - I think it can be really hot in the summer, because there is no airco. Be aware of that.

Several women and men worked at the front desk during our week-long stay They were ALL excellent, and 2 - a man and a young lady - were outstanding! Sooo friendly, patient and helpful! I’m so sorry that I’ve forgotten their names! They shared information about the city, took messages from friends who were trying in vain to contact us (because the new SIM cards in our phones were useless) Breakfast, served in the charming used-to-be wine-cellar, was comprehensive, plentiful and DELICIOUS! And, all the guests were friendly. We LOVED the area! So much to do and see within walking distance, especially restaurants. Abd, le Metro was close. I’d be happy to move in permanently. [I was traveling with my 15-year-old granddaughter]

Having a much longer stay!!!

Great location, easy to access public transport. Room was a good size for Paris hotels and very clean. The staff were polite and service oriented.

The decor in the room was a little old fashioned and run down. Not enough sockets by the bed. Main disappointment was at breakfast. The orange juice machine and espresso machine were not fit for purpose and kept breaking down. The lady looking after breakfast kept having to intervene to keep them operating.

This is a charming boutique hotel in the heart of the Marais. It was clean, beautifully decorated and comfortable. Walkable to many iconic sites with lively street traffic and lots of locals at restaurants and shops.

There’s no AC and although the windows opened and let in cool overnight air, our smaller connecting room with 2 twin beds got too warm, even with fans. We had some high 70s, low 80s. AC would make it perfect!

the location of this hotel is the best- really lively area, walking distance to everything - the room was really charming - and for what you find in paris - huge - also has a fridge which is a great bonus, all the staff were really friendly and helpful. this was a trip for my daughters 12th birthday, i asked for chocolates and balloons and they had those waiting, plus a really sweet birthday card - and everyone wished her a happy birthday - lastly, we loved to hotel cat :-)

The hotel has an elevator which for us was very helpful. It was also very central, a 10 minute walk to Notre Dame and an 18 minute walk to The Louvre. Plenty of cafes, restaurants nearby and next door was a small supermarket. The staff were wonderful, the breakfasts were lovely. Our room had a lovely bathroom and enough room for us to move around the twin beds.

Location, breakfast, staff -- just fantastic. Was amazingly quiet day and night. Best staff ever. Each person was great and super helpful. We loved our stay because of them.

Room was too small, was interrupted in the middle by a wall, Just was not comfortable. Desk and desk chairs were not adequate for anyone trying to do serious work on a laptop. Not enough drawers. Bed is just too hard.

Location was so convenient for our visit. The Hotel and hotel staff were wonderful. We especially loved the use of the cellar for the breakfast room. The Hotel had so much charm and character. I would definitely recommend it to others. Being foreign (from Australia) with limited ability to speak French, we found the staff in particular were very accomodating and helpful.

It would have been good to have more control over the temperature of the room as it was a bit too hot! The instructions for the safe were incorrect. The manual said to use a 4 digit code and the staff corrected the issue with a 3 digit code. Then we couldn't close the dafe so we stopped using it.
