The staff is great, I stayed in the room 201 which is beautiful although it is small, for one person is excellent, the shower is modern and big enough as well as the rest of the restroom, the bed is confortable and the sheets soft, it has two balconies with beautiful views. The only reason I don't put the 10 starts is for some details that can help to have a better experience. Is not complaining. it's just telling what only a guest can say after staying there and only with the purpose of helping the management to improve the guests' experiences * it has two doors, what difficults to enter into the room with your suitcases because after entering the first one there's a little space like a closet just for the second door to move and not even a person alone can walk easy in there I believe that the second door should be removed * It's necessary to put another set of curtains behind the existing ones that help to have light and privacy because when you open them, sure you have a nice view but also every body outside has a nice view of you * There's nothing to hang the towel close to the shower ( in fact, not at all anywhere). When you finish taking a shower, it's necessary to have the towel near to you * theres no shelves or something to put the shampoo and soap inside the shower * When you finish using the towel, there's no place to hang it so it can get dryed *I had only one full body towel. There were no hand and face towels, so I had to use the same for everything * There's no TV * I know most European hotels don't use the privacy thing to hang out of the door, but at least workers should knock the door before entering into the room

The location is the number one thing, walking distance from Notre-Dame and the Louvre and access to many metro and bus stops right outside. The view from my window was amazing. The staff were lovely and helpful despite my minimal french.

No air conditioning in 32° heat was tough, the small fan provided did little to help. One night the water would heat up or cool down (too cold to shower, luke warm to drink). The walls and a towel had stains. And I know they can't install one but no lift on the 6th floor especially in this weather was a damper. My room was cramped and being an attic room there was little headspace, i'm only 5'5 so someone taller would probably struggle more.

Reception staff were lovely, really easy check in with a smile. Room was small but clean and comfortable definitely met our expectations with what we paid. Opening doors onto a mini-balcony was a bonus and the view was great. The staff were happy for us to leave our bags in reception on the final day of our stay so we could enjoy our final few hours in Paris before getting the train. If you're looking for somewhere to stay that's central, easily connected with public transport and no frills I'd recommend here. The best review I can give is I'd stay again.

Not a problem for us, but access to all floors is via a fairly steep winding staircase.

The location is amazing!! Right in the heart of tons or restaurants, cafes, and shopping! The staff was super friendly and chill, they let us keep our bags there since our room wasn’t ready and we were early.

Staying during the week it totally fine but one of the nights was a Friday and there’s a bar downstairs and the cigarette smoke from the windows was overtaking the room. We had to close the windows which wasn’t ideal, it was hot. The room did have a fan which helped a lot! If you want absolute quiet and fresh air at night for a weekend stay, this is probably not what you’re looking for.

Great location convenient for any direction and metro, clean with nice en suite shower and great value for money in that quarter of Paris. I have sometimes had to wait when getting these smaller hotels that lock the door after midnight, but they were quick to let me in when I would get back in the middle of the night and always friendly and fast.

The only disadvantage of the location is that walking down the Rue Rivoli late at night you have to pass dozens of homeless camped out in front of various buildings; so if that bothers you then stay at the Hotel de Crillon.

The hotel has a great simple but elegant aesthetic. The view for our room was romantic and cute overlooking a cute little square. Our room had 2 big windows that filled the room with light. The housekeeping was so nice and they changed our towels daily without us having to ask for it. Our room was always clean and tidy after their daily visits! All of the receptionists that we came across were super nice,super kind & helpful. The location of the hotel is the best that we could have chosen. 4 minutes away from the metro, 10 minutes walking distance from notre dame and 20 minutes from the Louvre. The neighbourhood was just lovely! Many restaurants and bars close by! Thank you guys for making our stay amazing! We are staying here again 100%!!

Location was fantastic! Right by the Hôtel de Ville and only 2 mins walk from the metro station. There were lots of options nearby to get food. Staff were helpful. The room was tiny, but clean and comfortable - it was surprisingly quiet for such a central location. There was a hairdryer in the room (which I wasn't expecting so that was a bonus) and it turns out there is also a small kitchen area for guests by reception with a sink and kettle.

The shower wasn't good - water pressure was poor, the shower head didn't attach to the pole so I had to hold it which was a bit awkward, also the water fluctuated between freezing and very hot.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Location was amazing with easy access to tons of sites, restaurants, etc. Bed was small but comfortable.

We stayed during warm weather, and there's very little circulation/no AC. The windows are large and do open, so we were able to get fresh air at night, but there was also a lot of noise from the street all night long. The way they handle room keys is a little antiquated, but not a major issue

The location is a 10, maybe 15 minute walk away from Notre Dame right along the Seine. It is a very modest hotel, NO. Amenities, no tv in room but the VALUE is great. Small stairs to climb. It is not for large people but I would definitely stay again if coming to Paris. Helped make my trip and Paris affordable. The staff was great, friendly, helpful, they even had a band aid for the blister on my foot! Nice discovery. Try book directly. Clean, personable staff, GREAT location.

Hotel Rivoli is excellent place. Staff is friendly and helpfull. Location is marvelous - close to the city centre, to the few main Paris attraction and in location with really nice night life. There are plenty great restaurants and cafes just by the corner. Another great thing by the corner is metro. Which is the only valid way to transport around city centre. You can be everywhere in no time. We had small balcony, it was super cute and nice to look at the neighbour roofs. Main street was under us but cars here were sparce so I barely heard them. The room - it is a little plain but ULTRA clean. Room is swept everyday, same goes for towels change. Bathroom for a Paris room - is bigger than anticipated. This hotel room is not romantic, it doesnt have many addition but it looks so much better than on these photos! I highly recommwnd this place. If I ever come back i want to sleep here again.

There is NO LIFT up the stairs. I've read about it and I knew aboit it. But stairs are narrow and high so it must be mentioned properly. I did not care, someone might.
