Very good breakfast Clean Metro easily accessible

Would have liked tea/coffee making facilities in room

Wonderful little hotel, right at the Metro stop. Old church across the street, a "village" neighborhood in Paris (Belleville). NO tourists in the area, parks nearby, many local businesses (shops, restos, bakeries, etc.), families, cultural mix, very lively area. I enjoyed just strolling down the streets, having a coffee, etc. Very good price. VERY friendly and kind staff. Nice breakfast too. Very nice pleasant clean room, but small -- just fine for one. My room had a great view of the church and street too! (see attached pic) Looking forward to returning on my next Paris trip. :-)

I really like the room even if it was tiny. It was clean, and no weird odors like sometime you find in old buildings. I do not consider the place as necessarily "romantic", but it is only my opinion, since I prefer the landscapes and nature to do "romantic". I loved it was SO close to the metro station Jourdain, only few meters. They serve breakfast for 9-10 euros, my friend and I were always well served and I feel satisfied and ready to begin the journey with a full stomach.

A few "nice to have": iron, ceiling fan.....nothing that will prevent me from coming back.

The room was modern and clean. The location was superb. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was reasonable for an additional cost of EUR 9.

The elevator is very small even for one person with luggage but it's better than having no elevator. Also there is no air conditioner however there was a powerful fan and being on the 5th floor I kept the window open even at night so the room was always cool and comfortable for me. I personally didn't miss having an air conditioner.

Located in a residential area where different shops are on hand. The bathroom was newly refurbished. The back room didn't have a great view but was very quiet. The bed was very comfortable. Very convenient with a metro stop just 20 metres from the hotel's entrance.

We had a problem with hot water on the very first day, the hotel compensated us for it (this was just a one off bad luck event). It would have been great to have a bigger closed wardrobe in the room instead of a huge TV, this is very personal though.

The place was really clean and comfortable 👌 All facilities were working. Location is amazing, right next to metro station. Easy to travel to anywhere from there. Near the hotel there is very beautiful and tasteful French coffee shop- bakery which we visited. And the most important was the view from the window, the real Paris just behind your curtains ☺️ Staff was very friendly and polite. Strongly recommend 👌

This is a fabulous hotel and I will stay here again when I come to Paris. All of the staff were kind, thoughtful and patient. The hotel was very clean, including and especially the newly refurbished room and bathroom (shower only). Mine was a perfect room for one person. It was a bit small for 2, but would have worked out. The location was PERFECT! A quiet residential neighborhood with shops (including Monoprix around the corner), restaurants, and pubs. Everyone in the neighborhood was very nice and welcoming. The extra was the Metro stop in front of the hotel. On line #11, it did not take more than 30 minutes (and 1 transfer) to get anywhere I wanted to go. There are two exits from the Metro at "Jourdain." One is only steps and there are plenty. The other has some steps but also an escalator. Keep an eye out for the Sortie signs (one shows escalator the other only stairs). Bon voyage!!

The flexibility of having breakfast "on demand" was great, but occasionally the food ran out before breakfast-time was over. In all cases the staff were careful to offer whatever they could!

Very clean, warm room, good shower, working refrigerator, quiet (we stayed on the 4th floor). The bed was okay. Easy to find from the Metro station.

There was a strange smell in the room when we arrived, but we solved it by opening the window. Lumpy pillows. The staff were minimally friendly (but, that is fairly normal for Paris- I have visited Paris many times over the past 20 years.)

I liked the location, very close to subway and close to a boulangerie, pharmacy and supermarket. The hotel staff was very helpful. Renovated and clean rooms. Very warm in the room.

I didn’t like that i didn’t receive slippers for the room and didn’t have a water heater in the room for tea. But I can live with that.

Despite being an old building, the rooms are nicely refurbished and the bathrooms are nice and modern. The shower was great. The rooms are quite small, but have everything you need, including a safe and a fridge. It's not in central Paris but a bit outside, but very close to the metro - literally 30 seconds walk away. Therefore we had no problem getting around the city. The staff was also very friendly.

Nothing in particular, but be aware that the elevator is the little brother of any small elevator you've met. If you have big bags, be prepared to take the stairs 😂
