10-15 minute walk into the beautiful city centre, this was a quiet location in a residential area - it felt more 'real' than a city centre hotel. We were able to sit on the balcony and watch people cycle by, the children playing football in the park. The place was all spotlessly clean and all the staff were smiley, friendly and helpful. There were nuts available at breakfast - something I usually have but didn't expect here so that was a nice surprise! They also included the local Bretzel as part of their breakfast offering along with tasty wholemeal rolls as well as the usual French croissant pastries. Comfortable bed and plenty of hot water.

Difficult to find anything we didn't like. The relatively small room was made up for by having a balcony and access to a small garden and the weather was nice so we made use of them.

My stay at the hotel was really pleasant. The location of the hotel is quite convenient; it's close to tram and bus lines, making transportation easy. Additionally, it's not far from the city center if you prefer to walk, and the walking route offers some beautiful views along the way. The breakfast included option exceeded my expectations with its variety and freshness, giving me an energetic start to the day. However, one downside to the rooms I stayed in was the lack of a refrigerator. It would have been much more convenient, especially for longer stays, to have the option to store some food or drinks. Nevertheless, I was generally satisfied with my stay and would consider choosing this hotel again.

Hotels staff were the best! We came early in the morning and were very tired, and the resipsionist gave us breakfast despit it wasn't paid. They also gave us the room earlier than check-in time without any additional payments, although I'd like to pay. I also asked them about separate beds, and they did it for us. They told us about parking rules around the city. It was very useful information because we didn't know about free parking at the weekend. Thus, the staff were very helpful and polite!

The hotel isn't so new, and you can find out some scratches on the furniture or etc. But it doesn't matter!

I had a second-floor room with a view of the park. Excellent location in a peaceful neighbourhood, just a walk away from the old town and very close to public transport links. Room was clean and the bed comfortable. Nice breakfast.

The shower and toilet/towel rack were right next to one another - so close that it was impossible to open the shower doors fully. This made it difficult to get in and out of the shower, and also to stop water flowing out onto the floor when the shower was first switched on.

Great budget hotel, even lower price than Ibis 👌 Don’t expect toothbrush, toothpaste, conditioner and the like, they don’t do that, but the included free breakfast was very good actually (with a lot of pastries and even cheese, ham, eggs and sausages)

Rooms at afternoons / night were a bit too dark, but it didn’t bother me that much (although it means packing in the morning). Also, the would get so hot during the day if windows weren’t opened 🥲 and the bathroom didn’t have much of an extractor for steam/odors so that was a bit erm, tricky haha. Also beverages cost starting from 1,5 euro from their machines that are the small cups they serve in the breakfast… It’s too expensive for what it is.

The location was a 5-10 minutes walk to the old town, the building was nicely renovated, the staff was very friendly and helpful. We were able to leave our luggage there till our departure time. If you’re using tram, the station is nearby. Breakfast was excellent, the room was clean and heated. Wifi was working.

There wasn’t a lot of closet space in the room.

Adonis Hotel has the best staff! Raquel went out of her way to contact businesses for me so that I could get a package shipped back to the US ASAP. She is fantastique! Also the cleaning staff were exemplary. My room was immaculate, and when I needed anything, they were so kind and helpful. Breakfast was tasty and plentiful. Not a lot of options for gluten'free, but that is to be expected. But the options they did have were tasty.

Central location, fare priced, clean and decent breakfast.

A bit worn out and for some reason, this is the issue with majority of hotels in Strasbourg. There really needs to be more whole foods options for breakfast because they’re practically none. It’s mostly pastry. It’s very tasty and freshly made but no salads no quality proteins, just weird eggs.

The staff is definitely the biggest asset, very friendly and attentive. Farah, in particular, provided top-level customer service. The breakfast was good, and the location is quiet while still being close enough to the historical center.

The hotel facilities have seen better days, so a refresh wouldn't hurt. Also, having an English TV channel would be a nice touch for international guests who don't speak French.

Great location opposite a beautiful park, quiet, and yet close to the center. The staff is absolutely lovely, the breakfast buffet more than decent.

The one major drawback is the lack of air conditioning. When summer temperatures hit 35 degrees celsius due to global warming, the heat in the room becomes unbearable even at night.
