This is the third time at this property- the location is amazing and we love how they remodeled this old property. Everything is extremely clean and comfortable. They have two bike rooms that are secured. We’re always there in the summer so AC is a must. It’s a very posh place but still has a relaxed feel.

We have an EV and always park in their on-site parking lot right behind the house (for EU35/night). There’s no real plug but they do have one “designated” EV spot where you can use a “normal” plug to charge your car (which of course takes ages). We were there 4 days and were never able to park there- nobody ever used the plug (or was even a EV) and the front desk was super not helpful. Why even have a EV spot when you don’t ask people to move their car once they’re done charging (or let ICE cars park there when there’s other open spots). This is the one annoyance I have because this place is less than 4 years old and they couldn’t figure out that more and more of their clientele wants functioning, electric charging.

Beautifully restored historical building - very modern.

Our shower only had shower gel and shampoo attached to the wall - we had to request for conditioner and lotion. For the price paid it seemed weird that we had to ask for standard toiletries (these were in large-multi use bottles not single use).

Superb location in the city centre, beautiful entrance, new and modern rooms. Bed waa very comfortable and the windows open for fresh air.

The breakfast is very expensive yet there was no ability to get fresh omlette or eggs, and in the buffet the items were not clearly signed what they were.

Everything is just perfect. Super clean and brand new, stylish, quiet and spacious room. Super comfy pillows, bed and blanket. Bathroom is also very stylish equipped with very nice bathtub, which was rather beneficial after long chilly walks:) The building itself looks beautiful and located inside historical city (7-10 min from Cathedral by walk), but in very peace surroundings without touristic noice. There is great early medieval church just across the road:) The staff very was welcoming. Definitely recommend!

It is not even an issue but just a small point for the improvement - the door in the bathroom doesn’t provide enough soundproofing by its design. It will be nice to fix this)

We stayed 5 nights at the hotel during the Christmas market. The hotel is unique and very beautiful, a large room with a coffee machine and a refrigerator with cold drinks of water and juices that are given every day free of charge. large bath. The location of the hotel is fantastic, a few minutes' walk to all the Christmas markets in the city of Strasbourg. The hotel staff was so kind and helpful in everything and all the staff without exception were always smiling and patient. Good breakfast and the food in the bar was simply excellent.

Very important!!!  The bathtub is very smooth and high, the hotel must put a handhold inside the bathtub to get out of it safely!!  We had difficulty getting out of it and keeping ourselves from slipping or falling.

The staff that we encounterd on our stay were exceptional, they were friendly, helpful, polite, and always professional, especially Lorraine at the front desk who nothing was too much trouble for and Eion who worked at the bar who was a gem at making coffees and a really nice person, both these two members made the experience of staying at the hotel so much more enjoyable. In my opinion the courtyard is one of the best features of the hotel, it is an oasis of calm offering a place to relax when the streets of Strasbourg become too much. The fridge in the room only just keeps your items mildly cool, would benefit from being colder, also the listing says the rooms have a "mini bar" for me personally this would suggest that they would contain alcohol, (beer, small bottle of wine,Prosecco, mixers etc) however it only contained water, an orange juice and an apple juice. We adored the cozy atmosphere and the unbeatable location in the city. We love that breakfast buffet comes with local products only as we believe in supporting the local community whenever this is possible. The staff is incredibly nice and welcoming, they made us feel like we really belonged there and were a part of the family. On top of this, we could feel that even the local community loves visiting Leonor for lunch or simply evening drinks in the bar which is amazing and made us feel good about choosing this hotel. We couldn’t praise this boutique property more! We would be back in a heartbeat.

We loved everything but we had one minor thing we’d like to mention as there may be space for improvement - this is positive criticism, we will keep returning. When it comes to breakfast, we would’ve loved a bit more versatility when it comes to hot plates as we thought it becomes a bit repetitive after a couple days - this would help those staying for more than 1-2 nights.

We booked a Junior Suite at the Hôtel LÉONOR. This is a smaller, boutique-style hotel (about 100 rooms) and recently renovated throughout. What impressed us most about the hotel were the reception, lounge and dining areas of the hotel. They are exceptional, well designed and give a feeling of warmth and comfort. They provide a place to relax; either for breakfast or after a long day of touring Strasbourg. The room was reasonably sized (for a suite). Bedding was also very comfortable. Breakfast was buffet style. The food was excellent quality. A plentiful and wide variety was provided. The location is excellent with the hotel located on the northern end of the Grande Île and near two Tram stops which service three Tram lines. Just about any location on the Grande Île can be reached by walking. If walking doesn’t suit you, the Tram can easily get you there.

There was little “not to like” about the Hôtel LÉONOR. While our room was modern and of reasonable size, the layout and feel of the room (a bit too modern and cold) was unlike the ambience of the public areas of the hotel (which were exceptional). The room did not facilitate a “lived-in” feeling. In addition, the room lighting was inadequate and oddly placed.

A beautiful hotel, very conveniently located to explore the Christmas market from. We had a warm welcome from the friendly and efficient reception staff and lovely presents on arrival at our suite. The suite was spotlessly clean, the bed was very comfortable, although the sofa bed was uncomfortable to sit on for much time. There is a free mini bar, but just fruit juice and water and a coffee machine.

The price! It was very expensive all round. I expected total luxury for the cost of our stay. We didn’t visit the bar and restaurant because of the prices. So, in terms of our stay it was lovely but so over priced it wasn’t value for money. I understand there is a premium to be paid for the time of year and proximity to the Christmas market, but the cost of the suite appears to be half the price at other times of year.
