We loved the staff, especially Laura, who went way above to help us and other guests. So friendly, so efficient. I hope the management really appreciates her. We had a room for the disabled, and we really appreciated the large bathroom and the extra-long beds (my nephew is 2.1m tall), which were very very comfy. We thought the breakfast was super. The only thing we weren't thrilled with was the location. We prefer being a little closer to cafes and bars. However, it was a very quiet neighborhood.

The Ibis Budget Strasbourg Centre République is conveniently located, making it easy to explore the city. I appreciated the cleanliness of the rooms and the efficiency of the check-in process. However, the rooms were quite compact, and the soundproofing could have been better, as outside noise was occasionally noticeable. Overall, it’s a decent option for a short stay, offering good value for the price.

At the Ibis Budget Strasbourg Centre République, while the location and cleanliness were commendable, there were a few aspects I didn’t like. We were quite dissapointed at the size of the room, there really was no space aside from the bed, we upgraded to a family room even though there was just the 2 of us as this gave us much more space, the location was perfect just what we needed It seemed at first more like student digs, however we were pleasantly surprised it was very quiet and there were quiet spaces inside and outside to sit, chat, eat and work on a laptop A big plus, this is a Shabbat friendly hotel, [we didnt even know] which meant we were put on the 1st floor, they sorted out the lights and electric doors for us, Staff were all friendly and helpful

The double room was tiny only enough space for a bed, and hanging space for only 1 or 2 items, A big problem for me was the lack of parking, although I did manage to find on street parking and luckily didnt recieve any tickets for the 4 nights we were there

Great value for value in a perfect walking distance location to the city center. The bedding was great, the bathroom clean. Yes, the room is small but if you’re just looking for a good place to sleep it’s largely enough! Note to previous clients: the A/C works just fine, the temperature CAN be adjusted and the windows DO open…

The sound proofing could be better, but then again, if you’re dealing with hotel guests who think they’re alone in the world, what good can thicker walls do?

I have stayed before at this hotel and will keep booking if possible in the future. It has all comforts and its location is very convenient for the conference centre and access to metro/bus links. All feels new and functional and breakfast is excellent; wifi also works well which is important for work. Overall highly recommended.

As it often happens with Ibis rooms, the space between the bed and the walls tends to be small, but rooms are perfect otherwise.

I really like this hotel. I have stayed there 2 times and both stays have been enjoyable. My hotel room was very clean, also the bathroom. The bed was very comfortable. Pillows quite small, but 2 pillows together – totally fine. Room is not big, but compared to many others in Strasbourg, you could even call it spacious. The bathroom is quite big and also comfortable for tall people like me. Water pressure was very good (and my room was on the 4th floor). The hotel is nice and quiet. Although the breakfast does not offer warm food like scrambled eggs, bacon etc, the breakfast is still excellent! The croissants, selection of different breads and pastries are all freshly made. The ham and cheese they offer, are of excellent quality. And my personal favourite is the banana bread, which is delicious! There is also a possibility to sit outside and have your breakfast in the inner courtyard. The hotel is very close to a tram stop (Lines B and E) and there is a small food store just around the corner. If you don’t want to use public transport, then from this hotel it is easy to walk also to the city centre/old town or to the Council of Europe/European Parliament etc. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful. There is a luggage room, where you can hold your luggage even after checking out. The check-out procedure is very easy and comfortable – you just drop your key-card to a box. I recommend and will definitely visit this hotel again.

If there would be a kettle in the room, then this hotel would be perfect.

Modern, clean, vending machine downstairs with ready prepared meals and a microwave, laundromat avail a few metres away from hotel, breakfast spread was great and included in our room rate, staff were lovely and we were able to chill in the lobby/kitchen area for a few hours after check out while we waited for our train.

Great location, a few minutes walk to the nearest tram stop with a small Carrefour nearby too. Central Strasbourg very close which is all very walkable. Staff helpful and friendly. Price paid excellent for location.

Two small bath towels in the bathroom - another for washing hands be good and also another small one for us with long hair! Room ‘cosy’ so needed to crab around in some sections but all clean and quiet. Breakfast basic but ok apart from the cappuccino- tried both machines and both absolutely terrible, undrinkable!

Good-value hotel in Strasbourg, clean, in quiet location (residential district), close to city center (app. 15 min on foot, but city transportation is available), stuff friendly and accommodating. Very comfortable bed mattress. We had a wonderful stay.

As per usual, there is almost no place to leave your clothes and stuff in the room, since the furniture is very limited (a few hangers). But, being a norm for the Ibis Budget hotels, we were ready for it and it did not particularly bother us.

Space for sleep for few turistic nights was enough. Very big space for shower. People over 100 kg will love it ldouble than normally😁. Breakfast was only cold but much bigger than everybody have every day at home. 3 kind of cheese, 2 kind of buutter - lightly solted and not solted, prosciutto, croissants, and many more. The stuff was young and very polite and helpfull. Parking 4 min walk for free outside on square, or by hotel mx 3,5 hours by money. Or from 19 till 7 for free. Centrum walk 10 mins
