When I read the comments, many wrote that the hotel needs renovation. This is partly true. My room had a carpet that needed to be changed, an unpleasant smell of dampness from the bathroom. In general, these are the main things that I would like to change, because the room itself was good. Perhaps, I was also confused by the size of the closet for two people (I don’t think one would be comfortable there either). The bed was comfortable, we also liked the small view from the window to the funicular. The elevator was a huge plus! And in general, the room was clean, thanks to the cleaning staff. The standout feature was the terrace (which I'm not sure when it was last cleaned because we went up there a couple of times and the same bottles were always there. But that's more of a question for the guests than the staff). The location of the hotel is good - a few minutes from public transport, lots of little shops and coffee shops/restaurants nearby. Overall, it was a good experience.

As for breakfast, I would give it 6/10. The room in the basement, where ants were running, and the state of the dining room definitely needs renovation. On the first day, we came for breakfast at 10, and there was a very small selection of food. The following days, we came at 9, there was more food. It was even changed every day. But the containers in which there was milk were not washed, and the milk was sour.

The terrace views are stunning, overlooks the whole part of tbilisi, bring your wine and enjoy the panorama. Except you can't see the large trinity church across the river - that angle is blocked by a house in front of the hotel. Location is a bit up the hill, expect walking up a few little streets, or take taxi. Check-in is easy, you're shown the premises and explained about facility details. You also get either a shot of chacha, or wine - it's a tradition. You can actually ask for a shot again i.e. the other day. Checkout is very quick unless you took something from the minibar in the room, you have to pay for it. In room Minibar includes a few beers, sodas, water, couple packs of snacks. You pay for what you take. Room also has multiple lights i.e. bedlights, for the entrance, mirror, room, easy to control. AC worked fine, you can set your temperatures and modes in the control panel next to the door. The room service comes in daily and takes care of blankets and towels, cleans up the room. You get a single use slippers as well. Staff is attentive, resolves any issues you have - just point out what you need. Breakfast is fine, served between 8-11. I've seen food getting restocked 30mins to 11 but i wouldn't count on coming late. There are a few choices of hot food rotating each day, i.e. sweet rice porridge, fried sausages, pasta, boiled eggs etc. and a table stacked with cold foods, slices of sausages, cheeses, salads, toppings, olives, jams, cereals and other things. Several choices of drinks available, but also there is a bottle of chacha to start your day with a strong shot :) There is another area at the B1 level of the hotel, the inner garden where you can relax in tranquility under the massive 120 years old Magnolia tree. Another tiny detail, during the daytime hours, they play sort of smooth jazz in the hallways (imagine the elevator type of music). It isn't loud, but you can slightly hear it in the room.

Personally I didn't like the pillow, it's rather a huge one and i get a sore neck, uncomfortable to sleep on. Though other people might enjoy it more. Also would be great if the room cleaning staff could restock the toiletries and leave one extra toilet paper in the bathroom cabin. Nonetheless whenever we asked for something, the staff provided us with items without any issues.

The room was large enough for my family of 3 that were all adults. The air conditioning was effective and silent, which meant that we awoke refreshed and relaxed. A very nice rooftop terrace is accessible from the 4th floor with a very nice view of the surrounding part of the city including the funicular. Of the 3 days that we stayed, breakfast on the first two days was very good with a good choice of hot and cold items. However on the last day, only scrambled eggs and sausages were available as warm dishes, as well as some of the fruit items, were also missing. The breakfast timing of 9 am to 11 am was inconvenient when planning daily activities, especially during summer. The staff serving breakfast were very courteous and kept pace with the diners by promptly refilling and cleaning up.

Breakfast timings led to later departures in the hot sun and late arrival from the activities. Several design and maintenance issues in the room. The door latch was fitted in a way that allowed the door to be pushed open unless locked with the key which is different from all other hotel room doors I've seen before. Also, all the lights go off in the room when the key card is removed and therefore a torch was required to lock or unlock the door.

Very friendly, hospitable staff, the receptionist welcomed us with a round of chacha, showed us around the hotel and gave us tips on what to see in the city, even though he was busy with other guests. Rooms were comfortable, and the bathrooms were nice and clean. There is a patio on the roof of the building that offers a panoramic view of Tbilisi, and there are tents with tables and chairs - so you can enjoy the view even if the weather isn't great. Breakfasts were tasty and with good choice.

The only parking available is in the street, no dedicated spots for guests. It was mostly okay, but once we had to drive around to look for a free parking spot.

Misha and the boys were all very helpful during the entire stay. Misha showed us our room, the roof top area where we can sit and enjoy food/drinks/view. They offer Chacha during checkin. Area very safe as well. Our room was clean and spacious, there was hair dryer, cupboard, lots of sockets, and they always replenish the toiletries. We requested for clothes iron and this was quickly made available. We got the triple room on the rooftop, very airy and light. Breakfast was ok, if one is not satisfied there are cafes around the area also along Rustaveli. Misha even dropped by to say bye as we checked out quite early the following morning. This is perfect value for money, we definitely recommend and will be back!

A gem of a hotel in the middle of one of the oldest districts in Tbilisi. All major attractions are within a few minutes of walking distance. The hotel itself is built around a 100+ year old Magnolia tree, and hence the name. Misha was very helpful during the check in process. Even though he was busy, he took the time to show us our room, explain the history and details of the hotel, showed us the roof top area where we can sit and enjoy food/drinks. He also explained how to visit all the major attractions, the best places to have food, and some places to avoid as well. We were also offered Chacha as a welcome drink! The room itself was clean and more than adequate. We got the room with one wall made of glass, facing the Magnolia tree which was the highlight of the stay. The breakfast was decent and simple, but did have quite a few options. There was hot coffee and tea as well (contrary to some reviews saying there was no coffee). All in all, the most valuable stay we could find considering all things. Definitely recommend for staying in Tbilisi.

The hotel offers excellent value for the price. The rooms are well-maintained, and the manager is exceptionally accommodating and helpful. Following some initial difficulties, the manager promptly addressed and resolved all concerns, ensuring our complete satisfaction.

There is a lack of coffee options available during breakfast. The only option provided is black coffee, which may not cater to everyone's preferences. If you desire a cappuccino, it will incur an additional cost.

Locatian, good and kind staff, delicious breakfast, clean room, hospitality. The staff was very attentive from the moment I entered the hotel. Especially Misha was very polite and gentlemanly. The rooms were very clean and well decorated. I loved the breakfast. There was a buffet breakfast where you could find different varieties every day. The location of the hotel was also great. If I come to Tbilisi once again, I want to stay here again.

The room is fairly small, most of it is taken by the bed but god that bed! One of the most comfortable beds I’ve ever seen. It’s like sleeping on a cloud. Stunning view from the balcony, extra friendly stuff. The breakfast is quite simple but gets you going and I wouldn’t expect more for the price I paid. The location is also good, close to everything but do keep in mind: if you are on foot there is a slightly steep street to climb to get there. Didn’t bother me at all, but may be hard for some people.
