Staff went above and beyond to accommodate our needs, providing private airport transfers and even providing us with a packed lunch for our early morning flight.

Unfortunately the bed was very uncomfortable. The location was fair, it is only 15 minutes to freedom square. But the walk is sketchy the first few times, especially at night. The hotel is also located half way up a hill and as such it wouldn't be suitable for walking if you have trouble with fitness.

The owner of the property is a really lovely guy, we had some great conversations and he gave some excellent recommendations of restaurants to eat at. He also lent us his metro card and he let us store our luggage after we checked out as we didn’t leave Tbilisi until very late in the evening. Breakfast is also really really good, nice selection of sweet and savoury dishes all very fresh. Location is with in walking distance of many museums, churches, the old town and is also close to a metro station and bus stop. Lots of nice parks and good restaurants close by as well.

From the moment we arrived at Old Town Mtatsminda, we felt genuinely welcomed. Being offered a complimentary coffee or tea upon arrival when the room was not ready yet was such a thoughtful touch—especially appreciated after an early morning flight. That small gesture set the tone for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. The location is hard to beat: just a stone's throw away from Rustaveli Avenue and the old town, yet tucked into a local neighborhood that feels authentic and not overly touristy. It’s the perfect base for exploring the city while soaking in the real Tbilisi vibe. The buffet breakfast deserves a special mention—so many delicious options to choose from, with something for every taste. And for those heading out early, they even offer lunch boxes to go, which we found incredibly convenient. Dining tip: Don’t miss Madame Margot, just a few minutes’ walk away. The food is delicious, the retro-style décor adds character, and the soundtrack is simply unbeatable. A real hidden gem.

the room was nice, clean and cozy, the street is very quiet and you're in a real historical neighborhood. Breakfast was EXCELLENT. They have a common room upstairs with a small outside balcony where you can have coffee and tea all day. LGBT+ friendly, when we stayed there there were only queer couples staying there for some reason, some with their kids, and nobody seemed to have any bad experience. The staff speaks English and let us store our backpacks when we arrived early.

The streets in this historical neighborhood are so narrow and winded that taxis have a hard time reaching the hotel and you usually have to walk the last meters. Also the hotel is uphill from the main street which sometimes made us hesitate to pop back up due to the walk. If you have mobility issues or travel with suitcases maybe its not for you

Great location and Host. Hercules made sure that we felt at home. The location is very near to center. Its just a bit uphill but most of the locations were like that in tblisi. We could just walk with our kid's stroller to the center but had to take a bolt because of the effort coming up but if you are just friends or couple without kids go for it. The view from the 3rd floor made it all worth for me. FYI our room was opposite the maine building, in the house which was on ground floor. Had a Double bed, single bed and sofa (didnt check if it was sofa bed though). The door opened to a small area outside and then the main gate.

Breakfast could have been better. Things would get cold if you come late but the staff was kind enough to warm anything for you. I would also prefer to have better variety of breads.

Great location, the staff was very friendly and kind. Our flight arrived very early in the morning and there was nice immediate communication regarding our check in. The property is close to the cable bar station leading to the Mtatsminda park so that was our very first stop in Tbilisi and it was great. Clean rooms, great shower and amazing service.

I guess the rooms are not that silent proof. At our last night, we were just walking in the room packing our stuff, and there was a complaint from the room downstairs. Of course we tried to keep it quieter, but the noise we “produced” was really just footsteps. Not a real inconvenience for us to be honest, just to mention it.

I loved this place so much. It felt like home. We kept extending, wanted to stay there for the whole week but unfortunately they were fully booked. It’s such a nice little hotel in a very nice neighborhood. Amazing breakfast, great views from the balcony,everything you need is just around the corner, our 3 people room even had its own garden we would drink tea in. Very helpful and extremely kind hotel owners and staff. I was there with my parents they loved it so much. I don’t think there is a better deal in that area for this price/service ratio. I highly recommend it.

The hotel was exceptionally clean and well-maintained. The staff were very polite and gave us an excellent experience of Georgian hospitality. We stayed in a spacious room with breakfast included. The room was very comfortable, and everything was thoughtfully provided, even down to a toothbrush. The breakfast was both delicious and satisfying. I highly recommend trying their homemade compote. The hotel is conveniently located close to tourist attractions. Additionally, there’s a pharmacy, a shopping mall, and excellent dining options nearby.

There was nothing we disliked; everything exceeded our expectations, and we were completely satisfied with our stay.

The property is run by Irakli and is a beautiful boutique hotel. The location is close to Rustavelli avenue and Liberty Square. It's a steep walk up from these areas but Bolt and Yandex are easily available. The location has many options to dine and wine and is the main square of the city. Irakli, his brother Guga and his Dad all are super kind, friendly and nice folks. They made mine and my mum's stay so comfortable. The hotel also offers a very nice breakfast on the top floor. We had the double room with Balcony on the second floor which was a decent size with all standard room facilities available. The room was clean and comfortable. Irakli offers car rental and airport transfers. He has very nice comfortable cars (Subaru and Mitsubishi) and is a great option for going around Georgia. Since I don't drive, Irakli and his brother kindly showed us around all the spots in the country at very competitive prices. It was very comfortable for me and my mother and I would highly recommend it. They also gave great advice for souvenir shopping. There is a homely feeling to this hotel. Mum and I would order in dinner and have it on the terrace where Irakli and his friends would also share their lovely Georgian food (khinkali, bread and cheese) and homemade wine. We were made to feel at home and we will definitely go back to this property and meet Irakli and his family.

The location of the hotel can be considered central. It's a bit uphill, but we didn't have any problems since we usually took a Bolt taxi. The location of the hotel on the Bolt map is not entirely accurate, so it's worth intervening with Google Maps. We generally tried not to take taxis into narrow streets, as turning around from there can be a bit challenging. The room with a garden view is located across from the hotel building, I thought it was in the same building. Since the family room has only one window, it's a bit dark. Other than that, the room size, refrigerator, hot water, heating, glasses, plates, and towels were all sufficient and clean. It would be nice to add fabric softener when washing the towels 😊 Two sons, a father, and a lovely family run the place. We thank them for their attention and support throughout our stay. Madloba. Breakfast in Tbilisi is generally not cheap. If you want it not to be too costly, it's beneficial to book a room with breakfast included from here. The breakfast served here is sufficient and delicious. The breakfast area is clean and spacious. Any items finished during breakfast are promptly replenished. I was impressed by the discipline of the ladies in the kitchen. After exploring all day, we found a warm room, a clean and comfortable bed, and a hot shower. We were satisfied.
