The room was very comfortable, with an incredibly cozy bed. Everything was spotlessly clean, and all the necessary amenities were provided, it truly felt like a well-thought-out space.

Breakfast was disappointing. There was no choice offered, it was simply brought at a fixed time (once even 15 minutes late). The breakfast itself lacked variety: no fruits at all, and only one vegetable. Personally, I didn’t enjoy the selection, although the quality of each individual item was decent. It was also a bit noisy in the mornings, as you can clearly hear people leaving their rooms, likely because the doors open with traditional keys rather than key cards.

The location is excellent - right on Rustaveli Street, 5-10 minutes walk to Liberty Square. The room was very big and had a lovely terrace at the back of the property, so it was nice and quiet. I liked the fact there was a kettle in the room and water bottles topped up every day. The bed was extremely comfortable.

My welcome was rather underwhelming! I arrived having flown through the night and was staying for several days but the guy at reception seemed intent on getting me to pay straight away. I was exhausted! Note to travellers: there are 45 steps to get into the hotel. This was not a problem for me, but it might be if you have mobility issues. No lift. Also, note to UK travellers: my UK credit cards didn’t work so I had to use a cash card.

This hotel is one of the best I have ever stayed in. It was our first time in Tbilisi, and at first, we weren’t sure which area we wanted to stay in. Now I can say with confidence that we made the perfect choice — I never once regretted booking this hotel. From the very moment we arrived, we were greeted by a smiling, friendly young lady who showed us to our room and offered us breakfast. All the staff here are polite, warm, and always ready to help with a smile. Breakfast is not included in the room rate, but it is absolutely worth it — everything is served fresh and hot. They bake the freshest croissants right before breakfast, filling the whole house with an incredible aroma. You can also request changes to suit your preferences — for example, my wife prefers boiled eggs to an omelette, and they were happy to accommodate. In this hotel, you will never be left without attention. Any request was fulfilled immediately: they replaced one large blanket with two separate ones for us and always served tea whenever we asked. Over the 10 days we stayed here, we became friends with the staff and felt like one family. They truly value their guests and do everything to make you feel at home.

The only minor downside was that the air conditioner was a little noisy, but it didn’t affect our overall wonderful experience.

Octava Boutique is a charming little hotel in the heart of Tbilisi. Located right on Shota Rustaveli Avenue, it’s within easy walking distance of many key sights, cafés, restaurants, and parks. My room was spacious and well-equipped, with a comfortable bed, a balcony, fast Wi-Fi, strong air-conditioning, and a shower with hot water that came on quickly. While I didn’t interact much with the staff, they were always friendly and helpful, organising a taxi and assisting with my luggage. I didn’t try the breakfast, so I can’t comment on it, but there are plenty of lovely cafés nearby.

Arriving at 5am and sleep-deprived, my Bolt driver and I initially struggled to find the entrance—the sign is quite small and easy to miss. The hotel is located two flights of stairs up with no elevator, which I wasn't aware of based on the description. However, this wasn’t a problem for me, as the friendly receptionist kindly helped carry my luggage. Lastly, although the front desk is advertised as 24-hour, it wasn’t always staffed.

My wife and I spent 5 delightful nights here during the period of our wedding in Georgia, accompanied by some family members. The hotel was an exceptional base for organising the ceremony, visiting Tbilisi, and starting our honeymoon, in large part because of the delightful staff whose help, assistance, and generosity during out stay made our marriage all the more wonderful. We returned from our ceremony to find a bouquet of flowers, a bottle of wine, and a humble, beautiful note from our hosts, set on the desk of our room.

Great location, friendly staff, good toiletries, bathrobes, slippers, great bed sheets, everything is perfect!

Maybe consider bringing two water bottles each time there's cleaning in the room. Two welcome bottles are clearly not enough for a whole stay, and it's not very convenient to always keep it in mind and buy outside the hotel.

Wonderful location - the best in all respects because it is a ten minute walk to the old city. Therefore it is affordable accommodation and the restaurants nearby are also affordable and frequented by locals. Therefore building is very quiet and I slept soundly, despite being on a main street. My room was at the back of the building. The breakfast is lovely and was brought in each morning. The staff were very helpful and friendly. It is very safe and the building is quiet once inside.

Some more teabags would be helpful.

I really enjoyed staying at Octava. I had two different rooms during my stay, one at the back with terrace, which was spacious and quiet. The other, also very large and comfortable was facing the street with a balcony over Rustaveli Ave. this might be a bit noisy for light sleepers but was fine for me. The staff were nice and helpful. The location is excellent with cafes and restaurants nearby.

You can order breakfast on a tray but its expensive. Better to go out nearby. There is also a great french style bakery in nearby Mitropan Laghidze St.

I had a very pleasant stay at Octavia. The first thing that attracts me is the location -- on the main street just opposite to Marriott -- many attractions, shops, and restaurants are reachable within 10 minutes' walk. When I checked in, I was welcomed by the kind and polite staff who quickly arranged my room. The decor of this boutique hotel is charming, with wood and historical elements. The room itself it spacious, well-equipped, and clean. The bonus? A large balcony facing the back which I could relax at night or in the morning.

The entrance is a bit tucked between shops because it is not located on the ground floor.

Good ambience.

Breakfast was too expensive for what it offered, but some alternative places in walking distance. Be aware there is no elevator.
