Great boutique hotel, nestled high above the river. I stayed in a french balcony room and was only expecting the window to tilt open - but actually the rooms have a small triangular balcony, pleasantly surprised. All the staff were very helpful, and were able to assist me in booking restaurants, spas, transfers etc. Would definitely recommend, location was very useful for me as I was doing multiple day tours from the close-by Avlabari metro stop a short 5 min walk away. There is a hill if walking from Old Town - so keep this in mind if you are planing to do lots of activities there - and also the street the hotel is one-way, so I found it easier to walk to the start of the road to catch ride-shares like Bolt/Taxis (very affordable). Room cleaned every day if wanted, and two bottles of water given each day, which is a nice touch.

My only qualm, what I think could be improved, is that the wifi was very temperamental. Perhaps it was because I was on Level 1. It by no means would stop me staying again, I will definitely be back! - but I think I read in past reviews this had been an issue also.

Our stay was extremely lovely and comfortable, The staff are so helpful, special thanks to nini, the lovely lady who helped us with good recommendations for transportation and other hotel bookings in the Mountains, she even helped us by talking to the locals when we had difficulties in translation! She was friendly and always kept a big smile on her face :) Our room was so nice, very warm for a snowy february, a comfortable bed and hot shower. Our balcony over looking the river was excellent. Location wise, the hotel was In the centre of the old town, but far enough from all the crowds and the cars. We will definitely come back here for our next trip to tbilisi !

This is my second time to stay at the Sandali Hotel. I love everything about this place. Starting from the friendly and efficient staff .. so helpful and professional. Special thanks to Ms. Nini, Mr. Luka and Ms. Elene who made our stay extra special. The service was “super” .. the place was mint clean .. beds were very comfortable. I liked the option of having two pillows, one soft and the other a bit hard. The attention to details is immaculate. The quietness of this place was unreal, it was so so quiet. And the view from our balcony is to die for (The Mtkvari River). The location is just perfect, touristic attractions are just walking distance. Breakfast was very nice. I will surely come back to this place again.

The hotel team is exceptionally friendly and always ready to help. Their deep knowledge of the city — hidden gems, scenic routes, and must-visit spots — ensures you’ll never run out of places to explore. The hotel itself is stylish and comfortable. The location is quite central yet secluded. Breakfasts were very tasty, and the variety of dishes was decent. If you're an early bird, having breakfast at the hotel is a must — it’s nearly impossible to find anywhere nearby open at 8 a.m.

The windows aren’t soundproof (though it didn’t bother me — I slept like a log every night).

Wow! Where do I start… staff were exceptional, very warm and friendly and did everything they could to make my stay perfect. Which it was! Bed was like sleeping on a cloud, so so soft and big. The room itself was so clean and very modern, bathroom was great with a big shower. The show stopper was the glass floor and bathtub on the balcony which was a surprise after I only booked a premium room but mentioned it was my birthday. So the receptionist when I checked in said the hotel wanted to gift me the luxe glass room as a present. Was so grateful and surprised. I was also given a bottle of Georgian wine. Bathtub is heaven, I had 2 baths in it, in the evening and morning and was really relaxed with the sun coming down on me and watching the river boats pass by. Pure bliss! If I get get a chance to come back to this hotel I will definitely spend the extra money for this luxe glass room again!

The buffet breakfast wasn’t to my taste as it was traditional Georgian food and little choice but that’s only my opinion as I’m not a massive fan of cold breakfasts. However the scrambled eggs with cheese which you order was exceptional, really tasty and delicious and a good size portion.

My family of six stayed at this hotel for two days, and we had an amazing experience. I want to express my sincere gratitude to the hotel staff for their hospitality and willingness to assist at any time, even late at night. They went above and beyond to help us arrange a late-night airport pickup for my parents, which I deeply appreciate. The rooms were cozy, spotless, and offered a breathtaking view of the city and the river. Breakfast was delicious, the design was stylish, and the location was perfect for exploring Tbilisi. I would happily recommend this hotel to my friends for their trips to Tbilisi! Pros: Excellent staff, comfortable rooms, cleanliness, great breakfast, stylish design, convenient location, good value for money.

It’s the fact that you get exactly what you are promised !. It starts with the reception staff especially Nino that checked us in who gives elite Boutique hotel service and understands how to take care of all your needs and giving you the feeling that you are welcome, it continues to the Gorgeous rooms that look exactly like the pictures and even better in person. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience I highly recommend this hotel for couples and people who love quite areas with amazing views

I really loved this hotel! The staff were super friendly and informative from the beginning, the place was clean, the bed comfortable, the breakfast was so good and varied, and it was a 5 minute walk to the old town (actually, I think the hotel itself is technically in the Old Town...a 5 minute walk into the centre of the old town, in that case). I would recommend this place to friends, and I would stay here again. Great value for money, too.

My only gripe is that a couple nights I woke up seriously overheating, because my AC stopped working. As it turns out, every room is connected to the same ac/heating system, so if a guest requests the heat to be on, they have to switch over the entire system for the hotel, so that anyone who had the AC on is out of luck. They were pretty good at turning it back, though. This may be a point to fix in the future?

The staff were very friendly and accommodating. We requested for an early checkin as we were arriving at 8 in the morning. We were provided with a room without extra costs. Hotel is generally very clean. The breakfast is simple but nice. Location of the hotel is also very good, it is in the quiet part of the old town with walking distance to metro and lots of touristic attractions. Thanks to the location, you can enjoy a quiet night sleep while being close to areas you might want to visit as a tourist.

I had an amazing stay at this property! The staff went above and beyond to help me with a unique request, and their kindness and professionalism truly stood out. The mattress was incredibly comfortable. The room was spotless, and the attention to cleanliness was impressive. To top it all off, the view of the river from my window was breathtaking. I highly recommend this place and would love to come back again!

While my stay was overall wonderful, there were a couple of minor drawbacks. The breakfast was quite simple, but that’s subjective—it was served quickly and everything was fresh and tasty. Additionally, I noticed there were no single-use toiletries provided, which might be inconvenient for some guests. However, these are small issues compared to the overall great experience.
