Worst staff I have ever encountered, bunch of liars and scammers. They charged my friend an additional 250 lari for 1 night when the rates are completely different on booking. I also ordered a room with 2 twin beds but they gave me 1 bed and promised to change it afterwards but that never happened. I have never seen a bad 4 star hotel like this and I would warn tourists who speak English to find a local first before entering this rip off hotel because once they notice they can make some extra on you they will do it.

The hotel is located at the beginning of Havlabar historical district, near Europe Square and Metekhi Monastery. The street of the hotel is very calm and quiet. A view of Kur river and Narikala fortress opens from the window. From the hotel you can walk to all the sights of the city. The morning breakfast is of high quality. The furnishings of the rooms are very high quality and comfortable. Everything is thought out to the smallest detail. The staff is exceptionally kind, every day the rooms were cleaned, tea, coffee, water, sugar were put. The car was parked in the inner courtyard of the hotel. I will definitely stay here again when I come to Tbilisi.

I liked everything

Stayed in a family room and had a really nice time here. The breakfast was great and a had a lot of vegetarian options and variation (loved the crepes!!!). The pool was great and also very nice to have access to a sauna. The front desk staff was able to arrange a room from 3am for half the price of a regular night so wonderful job there and also checking us in at 3am. We loved the location - just a few minutes away from the metro but still in a fairly calm area. We loved that there are two adorable cats hanging around the outdoor areas.

The double bed in the family room didn't have direct access to the AC so it got a bit stuffy. There was also a low, regular noise that never went away (maybe from the ventilation from the room next to it???). I want to recommend opening up the curtains in the breakfast room to make it lighter. The balcony was shared with another room and one day the housekeeping staff left the balcony door open, which meant the other room had access to our room but fortunately nothing was taken.

Everything here was perfect: the pool, breakfast, staff and ofcourse the room. We liked it so much we booked the same place on our second trip to Tbilisi. Also, everything is walking distance from hotel Sota Metekhi and good restaurant options are around the corner.

Forget parking here, there is like 1 or 2 places opposite the hotel and you ll be lucky to get them! We actually were very lucky indeed as we arrived early in the afternoon and could park at one of those two spots and left our car there for the whole stay. However do understand that this is the old part of town and navigating a car here is not easy (oneway roads, traffic jams etc) ; ideally you would park your car outside of the old district.

Staying at Sota Metekhi Hotel was an amazing experience in itself! It was my first visit to Georgia, and the hotel, located in the real heart of Tbilisi Old city, next to the Kura river, made a great impact onto my first impression from the country. Wonderful location of the hotel, comfortable suits, pleasing views, unbelievable friendly stuff, traditional Georgian hospitality, tasty breakfasts, opportunity to make tours directly from the hotel with an experienced driver - for that everything me and my son are feeling deep gratitude. Many thanks and hope to come to stay here again 😊❤️🙏

The staff was very polite and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable, and the location was very good as everything is nearby. I will recommend this hotel to my friends and will definitely come back.

This was our best stay in Tblisi after a disappointing stay at Courtyard, Batumi. The property is excellent, even the staffs were very friendly. Though we arrived early, we couldn't get early check-in (acceptable) but the Staffs arranged to keep our luggage in luggage room, we could use the lobby rest rooms which were very clean. On our return after a local walk around, we were allotted the rooms which were really incredible and exceeded our expectations. We were rejuvenated after a poor experience at Batumi. Breakfast was excellent, The swimming pool was also nice. We would like to mention specially about VLAD the front desk excellent sincere staff

There is nothing that we disliked

Amazing place. We enjoyed our stay here very much. Staff is super helpful and nice, place is sparkly clean, modern with great view in historical center, close to metro station as well. Breakfast was delicious, every day different options. Swimming pool, sauna, what else can you ask for!? They even have scales on the 3rd floor to weigh your suitcase in case you bought too much Giorgian wine (as I did, 30 kg 🙈) Definitely recommended!

Few minor things: hotel is at the end of dead-end narrow street, allow some extra time when traveling in car or taxi. The noise from working rooftop pool was quite substantial in our room, but manageable.

Great hotel, good location, safe and beautiful neighborhood. Sauna and pool - great addition in colder times to warm up and relax after walking the whole day. Spacious rooms, great service, comfy beds, small breakfast buffet variety, but still sufficient to satisfy most dietary preferences. Totally recommended place to stay in Tbilisi.

Breakfast buffet was not heated, so food was mostly all cold. Parking available for only one car, otherwise on the streets around, it might be challenging though. There was an issue with internet connection during almost a week (supposedly by provider not hotel itself), so it was really annoying as planning next day sightseeing was not possible. Some days it did work and got switched off at midnight, some days would not work at all.

-Staff great -Great facilities -Room was Great -Breakfast good! And Varied! -Sauna and Pool! -Good location- pretty good access to Public transportation and GREAT access to lower part of Old Town. -As of the date of the stay. You could find lots of good view points in the area/vicinity.

-Sauna was a bit subpar. Mostly cause of the construction. -Could have better shower amenities. But definitely not bad though. -The breakfast to go/Lunchbox should be a standard vegan or sandwich with easy meat. Or should have like options. One vegan, traditional, Egg/protein/calorie heavy one etc. -Shower pressure on shower head needs to be higher.
