Spacious and clean. Great aesthetic. Friendly and helpful staff. Huge lockers.

Nowhere to put your belongings (towel, clothes etc) in the bathroom except on the floor. The bathrooms need some benches or shelves or even hooks to put your belongings while you're showering.

The room was very spacious and with more storage than necessary, at least for us since we only stayed for two nights. The showers and the bathrooms in general were quite clean and well designed, insuring privacy. Overall, the hostel was very quiet and tidy which made us feel almost alone and therefore very comfortable.

Not much but the lack of sound isolation from the road which was particularly loud due to all the passing firetrucks and police cars was quite disturbing during the night. Also, I'm not sure if my group and I did not see this information or if it was not said at all but there were not any utensils for us to eat our food (fork, knife, we managed to borrow spoons at the reception).

When I travel, three things matter: a good mattress, a clean, functioning bathroom, and a flat white early in the morning. We were absolutely happy with what the hotel had to offer: the mattresses were super comfortable, the bathroom, as well as the room, super clean, and coffee available from 6:00 to 23:00. There was some noise from the street and sometimes from the guests, but it wasn't critical and was to be expected in a big city. I loved the high ceilings and the size of the room in general. With 15 to 25 degrees outside the absence of air conditioning wasn't a problem.

Not a big thing, but the ventilator in the bathroom could be quieter or it would be nice to have an option of using just the light, so that not to disturb the others.

This hostel offers private rooms with shower, so it's like staying in a hotel, only without tv and frigobar. The lack of those two is more than made up for by the offer of sheets and towels at no extra charge. Considering no one really needs TV nor a frigobar but everyone definitely needs sheets and towels, I think this is a much better deal! The staff was also very helpful and promptly fixed an issue we had when we arrived, relocating us to another room so we could swiftly put the kids to bed after a long day. To sum it up, I think we were better treated here than when we stayed at much more expensive places, especially in the Netherlands.

Though they do offer towels at no extra charge, there was no mat for the shower floor, so we had to eventually use one towel to keep the floor dry. Might make sense to offer a mat instead?

5th floor, nice colorful hallways. Room and bathroom clean, towels big and soft, small snacks downstairs in the reception anytime. Large kitchen and several refrigerators, 2 stoves + ovens, 2 dishwashers and more. Everything is there.

The lady at the reception speaks so softly that she cannot be heard (during check in). I am 28 years old and have healthy hearing. :-) :-) The bathroom is missing a hook and a shelf for storing things opposite the showers. A mirror in the room would be nice. The downside of the kitchen is... that the guests leave a really terrible mess behind. The staff then cleans up after them.

This is the best kept and ran Hostel we have ever been in. The rooms are planned out well and have enough privacy. The bathrooms are located through out the whole building. The shared kitchen is the main focus on the 4th floor. We were able to feed our family of 6 with plenty of cooking equipment. The location is near enough transportation to navigate the whole city. We had an easy check in and check out. 24 hour staff. Large Grocery store directly below building.

Honestly, nothing was wrong with this place. Very clean and well kept. Plenty of room to navigate the whole building. It is not an after thought, of let’s make this place a hostel. It is designed to be a hostel, an amazing one at that. The price was below average for the area and services provided. Meaning the more cost effective side. BUT, Europe itself, it is out pricing itself with the costs of tourist accommodation’s. It’s not only Berlin but many other places.

The location is great, a few U-bahn stations only 10-15mins away by foot. ALDI literally outside of the hostel, so you can do some shopping in even your slippers. The staff is friendly and very helpful. The lockers are so spacious (in the room I was in), that was a nice surprise. It was bizarre that we couldn't eat our own meals in rooms - there are a few spaces for that in the hostel - but it didn't bother me that much. The bathrooms were very spacious, but the toilet/shower stall not so much, there wasn't that much space to dress yourself unless you want to stand on wet. There is a kitchen, so that's a huge plus.

I can't think if anything, so nothing was probably amiss. :)

I was afraid at first cause the bad reviews and the elevator not working. Glad to say everything was amazing! Stayed for 9 days, staff was great, location is amazing and the rooms and bathrooms clean and comfy. The only thing that bummed me out a bit was the kitchen that they left notice will be closed at 08/15 permanently cause of some troubled guests which was fine by me. But then they closed it couple of weeks earlier without notice. Other than that, again, was a - m - a - z - i - n - g - !

- Good room with all the facilities: there's an air con, a fridge. - Very quiet - Very clean - Pleasant location 15 min walk to Haupfbanhoff, lots of restaurants around and very safe. - Got a voucher for a sandwich in the nearby bakery, great!

- Be aware: They only will store your bag till 2pm,that's nonsense, who would want to return in the middle of the day. My bag was very small, the one you put under the seat on the plane. The receptionist said: many guests are arriving. I think it's just an excuse, surely there would be place for a small bag. - Internet on and off in the room on the 4th floor - Between 8 and 9 a lady knocks to every room and wakes you up 🤔

We liked the location the most, there was a grocery store and bus stops almost next to the accommodation. The center is less than 30 minutes away from the accommodation, but we didn't mind! The rooms were beautifully decorated and we had a very beautiful view of Berlin. The staff was very pleasant and always smiling!😇

The distance from our room to the toilets and showers. It wasn't too far, but we were staying during the off-peak period, so it was a bit of a concern. Then there was the kitchenette system, on the one hand we completely understand why they have it that way, but on the other hand we didn't want to walk up and down 5 floors for an access card. But that's not such a big problem :)
