The location was great. Even for a big city connections we're easy for far flung distant places. The staff took extra care to cater to most of your needs & was attentive to details, providing valuable insights to make it special. As an example example while selecting a you're for a destination Eric suggested we take bus#100 as it provides atourist overview of the major sights of the day. Priceless inputs & very good recommendations. The quiet neighborhood with easy access makes this a gem of a hotel in the German capital. Would surely return.

Only criticism would be the breakfast seemed overpriced & not good value. There are numerous options all around

I'm pretty happy, public transport is accessible, a supermarket with a nice bakery is nearby. The room is compact, but also comfortable. I really like it that instead of instant coffee / tea packs and bottled water in individual rooms which I found in many hotels, this hotel has a coffee machine and a (sparkling) water dispenser on the ground floor lounge. I didn't mind the inconvenience as the beverages were nicer and this is definitely more environmentally sustainable. I hope in the long run this brings cost savings to the hotel too.

No fridge, but that's a very minor quibble, and I can understand this is to bring down costs for the guests. If there's separate shampoo for hair and body, that would have been a nice touch.

This place retains both its original 19th century charms, mixed with a bit of the Bauhaus, mixed with the 1970s. You can’t ask for anything more. My room was beautiful. Even the elevator that takes you up and down that was an addition to the house is a marvel. There’s a lovely breakfast restaurant that really does the deal if you’re interested in a German breakfast. They also tried to entertain English eaters as well. I was there for four nights of 91° weather and never felt once uncomfortable about the temperature in my room.

Excellent location for Schonberg and nightlife. Hotel is very funky interior, free coffee and cake in the afternoon, (get there early for the cake)... very useful after shopping and before going out again. Reception staff were excellent, very helpful as I had left a charger lead behind. All receptionists great, non-judgemental and helpful. Room is small but clean and bright, basic. The rest of the hotel has a quirky charm about it. Room temp was fine, room smelt fine, window opens wide. I would definitely go back. Breakfast... forget it, plenty of authentic cafes doing breakfasts within 1 minute walk at half the price and restaurants every other building almost.

The location was close to the beating heart of Berlin. Either 25 minutes by train or about 15 on a rentable bike or scooter. The room was comfy, very clean and serviced daily. I didn’t take the breakfast option and there were many supermarkets and coffee shops and restaurants close by. My room was exceptionally quiet towards the back of the hotel.

The beds for a single occupant are indeed a single bed in a room. Comfy but small. The room has a fan but no aircon.

The location was great as the bus ant metro stops were just a few steps away. The staff was very helpful, good breakfast. Also, we loved the flexibility to decide if you’re having breakfast in the hotel the same morning. The water dispenser is available for all guests and cofee after lunch hours.

The interior is not the newest but everything was very clean and all devices in the room working. Soundproofing is bad but as the hotel is very small it didn’t cause as any issues.

У атэля добрая лакацыя - зусім побач адразу чатыры лініі метро, то даехаць кудысці праблемы няма. У ста метрах ад атэля ёсць клуб Metropol, то ўсім аматарам спаць у ноч з суботы на нядзелю ў цішы - лепей гэты варыянт не разглядаць. Таксама ў кавярні можна знайсці бескаштоўную мінеральную ваду, і дадаткова, калі пашанцуе, зрабіць кавы (нам не пашанцавала). Ванны пакой чысты, ды й увогуле бачна, што персанал не цураецца як мага часцей прабірацца. Кошт за атэль адносна шчодры ў параўнанні з іншымі варыянтамі.

Гель для душа пахне і адчуваецца, як самы танны сродак для мыцця посуду. Не ведаю дзе яны яго ўзялі, але я ім на ўсялякі выпадак галаву не мыў. На ложках даволі такі малыя коўдры, і гэта б не было праблемай, калі б пакой не быў бы даволі прахалодны. Ну й як я ўжо згадваў, ноччу можа быць даволі голасна звонку і ў спалучэнні з прабуджэннямі пасярод ночы, з-за таго што нейкая частка цела замерзла апынуўшыся не пад коўдрай, атрымліваеш лёгкі недасып.

Location is great. The rooms are comfortable and quiet. Ours looked out onto the garden which meant we were able to open the windows, which was also a big bonus. The bathroom had a full suite and was modern. The shower was good and it was nice to have the option of a bath.

There were no tea/coffee making facilities in the room. Although tea and coffee are free downstairs, it would have been nice to have a tea/coffee when we woke up. Minor point, as we didn't watch it much, but the TV only showed terrestrial, mainly German TV. There was no Netflix or streaming.

- Very nice hotel that is ideally located for a city break - Attentive staff, free extras in the afternoon - Given the great location (right at Nollendorfplatz U-Bahn station; multiple supermarkets in 3-10 minute walking distance, huge amount of dining options) it can be surprisingly quiet - Very good public transport links - Pleasingly old-fashioned - Pleasant neighborhood (there is even a market at nearby Winterfeldtplatz on Wednesdays and Saturdays, running from 8 to the early afternoon)

- Be aware, there is no airconditioning - I'm pretty sure that in 95% of the year it's not needed, but if you happen to be there during a heatwave, it can get a bit hot. But the building is not a "heat trap", so it's still bearable. - If it matters to you, the TV is rather tiny.

The hotel is in an excellent location, about 1 minute from Nollendorfplatz U-bahn, 10 minutes from the Ku-damm and in the heart of Berlin's Gay Quarter. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout. The room was simple but comfortable and clean and faced away from the street so there was no noise from outside. Breakfast was plentiful and varied with a light cooked option available as well as continental. Free tea/coffee and cake is available from around 2 pm. Excellent value for money - I would definitely go back.

There is a little bit of noise leakage from other rooms - doors closing etc. - but nothing to spoil the trip.
