Clean room, affordable price and very kind, welcoming receptionist. Decent security with modern electronic door locks and multiple doors. There are a coin laundry right next to the place and good cafes and restaurants nearby. Also I’ve encountered some other guests in public spaces, but they are all pleasant. Overall I felt very comfortable and rested pretty well.

The room door isn’t sealed well, and noise from public spaces was a bit annoying. Also one of the two hairdryers was broken and couldn’t use. Also the knob of the sink in the men’s bathroom was somehow attached in an opposite manner, and extremely hot water came out when I intended to wash my hands with cold water. (It’s very dangerous please fix it). But it’s not a three star hotel and for the price I cannot really complain. I’d definitely recommend the place, it’s a great value

I would definitely recommend this place, at first I was scared how it would be when it comes to cleanliness of the toilets/showers but it was always clean and neat. The place is some 5min walk from the tram and 15min walk from Alexanderplatz so location is definitely more than perfect. The bed was also comfortable and the size of the room didn't make me feel claustrophobic

There was no kettle or microwave to heat up food in the run, I can understand that there is no Minibar in the room but it would be nice if small appliances were added in the shared space.

-perfect location. About a 15 minute walk to Alexanderplatz and a 3 minute walk to the nearest tram stop, easy to get anywhere. The neighborhood feels safe and there are restaurants, bars and grocery stores nearby. The hotel is located inside a courtyard so it’s quiet. -the rooms and bathrooms are very clean, bathrooms are cleaned daily. Showers are convenient with a dry area inside each one. The whole place smells good and is decorated nicely, it feels homey. -staff members are friendly and welcoming. They were willing to help me over the phone after reception hours. -prices are fair. -there’s a convenient laundromat right outside the building.

-the beds aren’t comfortable. I stayed in two types of rooms, in the single room the bed was very uncomfortable, and in the double room the bed was okay but not great. -the heating didn’t always work, hot water in the shower ran out after a while so you can’t take long showers. -no elevator, but I knew that ahead of time. -creaky floors in the hallway.

Great value for money, great location, small room for 1 person with everything I need. I paid about 50 Euro for night, I guess it’s minimum price for a nice 1-person room in Berlin centre. Is compatible to a hostel price, but here you get way more comfort. Is a dormitory system, so toilet and bathroom are shared, I personally have absolutely no problems with that. I could always find a free bathroom, and it was clean and nice. I also like the architecture Altbau style of the building, it has its own charm. It’s also very quiet.

The only thing that bothered me was the smell in the room, most probably from the carpeting

Was easy to get to from the airport, as there's the M4 tram right outside to Alexanderplatz and then the S-Bahn. I was in a spacious room and the bathroom/shower was very clean for them being shared spaces.

There was only one toilet on our floor, and it was in constant use so you sometimes had to wait a bit to use (or go to another floor) - but this was just a minor thing, the rest of the stay was great.

We were able to arrive after their stated 'last arrival' time of 11pm (we were on a late flight). Good clear instructions provided. Receptionist was friendly and helpful. Close to several tram lines and buses - one tram to central train station (Hbf), several changes to airport, but easily negotiated. Pleasant room, clean facilities and comfortable beds.

There was no hot water on the morning we were leaving, so it was a brisk shower. But we had had no problems previously, so probably temporary glitch.

Good location in the city, we walked into the centre multiple times but there’s also good tram connections near by which we made use of for longer journeys. The rooms are nice and the shared bathroom was always clean and comfortable.

The beds were particularly squeaky so not as comfortable as we hoped as there was a loud noise from rolling over but this was manageable for our short stay.

Great stay in room 29. Everything clean and tidy. Great to be on the last floor to enjoy a bit of spring sun coming in the window. Rooms windows are giving on a private square and not on the main street which makes the place quiet.

Rooms neighbors can be heard from time to time (we had quiet ones which was okay). A little kettle in the room would be a great plus.

A sympathetic hotel in a good location just two tram stops from Alexanderplatz. Everything inside was clean and new or renovated. It's an old building so the rooms and layout varied, I guess it's not originally meant to be a hotel. The street noises were not audible because the hotel locates behind another building. There was a closed port between the street and the hotel. There's no restaurant but on the street near the hotel you'll find some kind of a kebab house - and a laundromat! I took only two pairs of clothes and washed them. This hotel was a nice find!

Personally I had no complaints at all, but there are some things to take into consideration. There's just stairs, no elevator. Men had toilets on the 2nd floor and women on the 3rd floor, although there was a single unisex WC on the same floor. So probably you'll have to take some steps to go to the bathroom. The room doors are not sound isolated and conversations from another room and corridor can be heard. Luckily there's only some rooms on the same side of each floor so the chances are that you won't get any noisy neighbours. During my stay there was very quiet and peaceful. All the visitors seemed to respect this calmness.

It was minutes from the tram station. I arrived past noon and the room was already ready for check in. Toilets and bathrooms are shared and clean. One hair dryer in the shower but I didn't have to wait long to use it cause I bathed at night. The receptionist kindly boiled and filled hot water into my tumbler.

The mattress was rather thin, I could feel the wood slabs, but it I still managed to sleep after a long day of sightseeing. Would be great to have a water filer somewhere so that guests can fill water. The shower is not divided by gender on my floor. There are two showers in the bathroom.
