Very good location, right next to the metro, and close to lots of bars, restaurants, supermarkets - yet so very quiet, no noise from the street! It felt we were on the edge of the craziness in Kreuzberg. Very easy access to various parts in Berlin. Also very warm room with adjustable heating (this was great as it was freezing outside and snowing). I loved the big windows that allowed natural light in, yet the blackout curtains worked great to not disturb your sleep. Also, was surprised that hardly heard any noise from the other rooms. The lady at the reception was very helpful and attentive. The room had everything we needed for our 5-night stay.

Just my personal preference, I don't like it where the reception is unmanned during the night/ at all times. Here there is someone at the reception daily 10-6, and then you are given contact numbers for emergencies out of hours, but still it's nicer to have some human presence at all times. Check-in can be done remotely, and you access keypads with their instructions, but this feels uncomfortable/ uncertain. I personally had no issues, so overall a positive experience, but just prefer the human contact. The concept of the building is basic and efficient, a bit "cold", I believe it was missing some character and a better feeling - but I understand these are over and above. Overall, positive and comfortable.

Comfortable, well designed, fully equipped kitchenette (there was even a toaster), very clean, and calm place.

The only reason why I didn’t put a 10: the bathroom ventilation system. 1. It was extremely loud for the entire apartment, with no switch to turn it off, and it would only stop automatically about 10 mins after bathroom lights were off, which was especially annoying at night. 2. While there was no unpleasant smell in the bathroom itself at all, the ventilation would actually pull it externally and fill the bathroom with really bad air… This definitely needs to be fixed by the owner.

I had a wonderful stay at Nena Apartments in Berlin. The apartment was very spacious and offered great value for the price. It was fully equipped with all the necessary supplies, making our stay extremely comfortable. The bed was very comfy, and I loved the nice industrial look of the apartment. Additionally, the building and the surrounding area were clean and well-maintained, adding to the overall pleasant experience.

The only issue we encountered was with the entrance gate, which is shared with other buildings on the site. The provided PIN code did not work. However, the lady at the reception was very helpful and came to open it for us. She explained that the gate is not maintained by Nena Apartments and contacted the responsible party to resolve the issue.

Great place to stay, nice and quiet, and with enough restaurants and bars in the area. Comfortable and functional and great value for money. All in all a great choice and we'd go back when we return to Berlin

Would have been helpful to have some kind of guide to how things work.. Only after 24 hours there we finally work out that there were indeed blinds after wondering what the up and down arrow buttons on the wall did! Until then we had no way of stopping anyone in the office opposite from looking in the windows unless the curtains were drawn. Also the shower leaked.

Very clearly instructions with photo for getting the key and entrance to the hotel. Very clear room, there is a lift in the building, suitable to old people and family with big bags and kids buggy. In the room you can find a coffeemachine with 3 capsules, tea bags. So big windows and very quite coutryard.

You have no vacuum cleaner in the room, just a little hand broom. Very big saucepan and frying pan, you can not placed it both on the stove at the same time. So big saucepan cannot placed correct in dishwasher and some plates have the same problems.

No one came to clean the room during our stay nor change the towels, we stayed 4 nights. No aircon! A bit mad considering it was quite warm during the night. They can keep your luggage after check-in, however due to staff sickness, our luggage was transported to another location. It was communicated via email. Be mindful if you leave your luggage.

Perfect place to stay. The kitchen was sufficient for basic cookig. All the required utensils were provided.

I tried to contact the facility on 2 separate occasions - by messaging here on booking and also by phone and it wasn't possible. The only response was an automated message here on booking (confirming reservation, which I've already received), the phone call was not answered, neither returned. Luckily, I had just minor requests which solved themselves eventually but if you run in some real trouble this could be quite a problem.

Convenient location, great facilities and everything was available either in the room or additionally downstairs. No need to ask anyone, everything was organised to help make the whole process as easy as possible. They are clearly experienced as they thought of basically all details for you.

The grout in the shower could use a little refresh. Good thing they also have indirect lighting because the overhead light is bright and a bit harsh.

Everything was good. FYI, you ask for towels and sheets if you need, as eco-conscious practice. Maybe a small and a big towel would be better, especically for stays longer than 3days. Self cleaning - broom provided

We had a great stay. The check-in was simple considering we arrived after working hours. The room was clean and tidy, the amenities were just what you need and it was also really quiet. The location was great, being so close to the U-Bahn.

The only slight downside is how the room window looks straight into Offices opposite. Some roller blinds were there though so that helped.
