Very nice hotel, super accessible location. Easy to walk to the nice restaurant spots and key visiting locations of Berlin. The street that the hotel was located was really quiet. Additionally, there’s a small but very nice cafe located in front of the hotel that we used quite often to work a bit in the morning before going out to visit the city. Staff super attentive and responsive to our questions/ queries and stored our suitcases as the check out time was earlier than our train leaving berlin.

We had a few issues with the room - clogged bathroom and some issues with the toilet. However, the staff were super responsive and came immediately to fix everything.

The man at the front desk was super friendly and helpful. He helped us find a good restaurant for dinner. And he was apologetic about the elevator not working.

The elevator was not working when we arrived, and our room was on the fourth floor (that would be the fifth floor as floors are counted in the USA). I know this wasn't the hotel's "fault," but it was frustrating, and I'm grateful that my wife and I had our very fit 20-year-old son with us to assist in getting the luggage to the room. The elevator was repaired by the next day. :-) Also, when we first checked in, we were told that there wasn't room in the parking garage for us, and we'd have to park on the street. I looked for parking on the street, and I wasn't able to find any. When I came back to the front desk, a spot had opened in the garage, and we were able to park there.

Yard is a stylish, modern hotel. The location is a little away from the centre of Berlin, but it's easy enough getting to the subway or bus. If you like walking, it's maybe a 40 minute walk from the centre. The room was a good size and clean. I especially liked the shower, which was strong and warm. The bed is large and I found everything comfortable.

The room doesn't have a fridge, coffee maker, or kettle or anything of that nature. I usually like bringing snacks or drinks back so the lack of fridge was a little disappointing.

My stay at The YARD was amazing from the beginning to the end. This boutique hotel is tucked away on a quiet street in the residential area. From walking in, I was warmly welcomed and taken care of. I especially enjoy the intimate feel at the breakfast area and cute courtyard, as well as the clean spa & fitness area that wasn't visited often by other guests at all during my stay. The kind staff was courteous, resourceful, and prompt in service.

I think the breakfast was meh and the bathroom didn’t have an air vent.

The room looked nice and was very spacious - even the bathroom. Bed was comfortable. Had a nice view outside the window. Breakfast was nice, but not many options and they did not change during our stay. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Room had no fridge or mini bar, also no kettle ( but I asked for it and it was given free of charge). Room had a wooden floor, which looked good, but some carpet would have been nice ( no slippers in the room). Floor under the bed had not been cleaned for a while, there was dust underneath the bed.

The hotel is modern, room was clean, with beautiful bathroom and a pleasant atmosphere. I appreciate the good location. A big plus is also the possibility of free parking in the surrounding streets.

What disappointed me, however, was the non-functioning WiFi throughout the stay - I really wouldn't expect that nowadays, especially at this price. And while things can go wrong, I missed at least some small apology from the hotel, like an invitation for coffee or similar attention. I also missed a minibar or at least a small fridge in the room.

We were very drawn in by the room with the corner window, and as luck would have it, that would be the room we got! The room was spacious and very relaxing, with a natural wood floor, which adds to the quality. The aforementioned window had cushioned window sills, which is such a nice touch! Kreuzberg was very lush and colorful in Summer, which made it pleasant to walk around the district and look at it through the window The beds were on the harder side, but that is perfect for us. We loved them and have no complaints The staff were lovely and lively! They went out of their way to help us and fulfill any request we had There are plenty of shops around and public transport stops. During Summer, it's even possible to walk to the city center in about half an hour

Extremely comfortable beds, big rooms, small coffee machine and friendly receptionists..Great that the toilet room and bathroom are separated. Spacious shower cabin. Nice interior

SPA was closed without any information about it, and SPA was the reason we chose this hotel. Would be good for them to inform about it beforehand. In one of the rooms air conditioner wasn't working and in another room bed lights.were not working. Mold in the bathroom on rubber seals, foot towel had yellow stains.

The decor was good and the breakfast (apart from running out of bacon and sausage)

Booked a double but it was two twins just pushed together, not even joined and with separate sheets and duvets. Dirty paint work in corridors. Some friendly staff and some grumpy. A charge to use the spa. The location was a bit in the middle of no man's land. No shops cages or bars very local. But good for connections to trains and no too far from centre

The rooms are very comfortable big and quiet. The staff are usually very helpful .

I took another room next to me for my daughter her husband and her baby. The hotel made the babies cot but didn’t put a mattress for the baby. Even after we notified them and complained! That meant that for two nights my daughter and her baby slept on the floor on a blanket.
