This hotel is a little gem. It is a classic German hotel, simple room (I had room 20) that meets the needs for bathroom, storage, sleeping and a desk for working. There was also tea and coffee. The breakfasts were great, you certainly will not go hungry and the staff were charming. The location is also great. A short walk from the station, without having to go through the streets full of drug addicts and homeless people. Frankfurt has let itself slip, and this is one area I really want to avoid, so the hotel location is perfect. There is a little square with a kiosk and some restaurants around it, and it is in a quiet area.

The wifi was a little spotty at times when lots of guests might have been using it. However, most of time it worked without fail, especially on my computer that I left in the room for the stay.

We enjoyed having breakfast at the hotel. The spread was very good and wide. They replenished items which ran out promptly. The room exceeded my expectations. It was comfortable and well-heated (it had an air-conditioner too which we didn't use as it was 10 degrees C). The location of the hotel is within walking distance to the Alstadt and the Opera House. Lots of restaurants nearby, there are trams and subway stations too. There is a street where it felt unsafe, it is one of the roads to the central train station. However, we figured out after the first day on how to avoid it. The staff is very approachable, efficient and helpful.

Good location in a quaint neighborhood. I attended ambiente so it was the perfect location for that however most of the restaurants we wanted to go to were a little far to walk to but there were other options in the area. Breakfast was good, room was spacious and the staff were very attentive and friendly. Out flight landed early in the morning and we got to the hotel around 11am. The man working the front desk said our room wasn’t ready yet but asked the cleaning service to get ours ready ASAP and it was ready within the hour. Very kind, exceptional service

Only have two complaints - the first being that the shower had a very interesting little door that didn’t really do much other than kind of get in your way since you couldn’t prop it open and the second being that even though the ceilings are high which is very nice, there doesn’t seem to be any insulation between the floors and the person above us seemed to be stomping around their room starting at 6am

The hotel locates in a very good neighborhood. Within 10 min walk, there are fantastic Italian, Chinese, Mexican restaurants even with Michelin stars! Also, a small pharmacy and Rewe supermarket also are within walking distance. Very convenient. Close by there are stops of U4, 6, 7, enough to take you to.Zeil street, Rome Sqaure, the Cathedral,.and iron bridge area.

Everything was great. For a guest staying more than three nights, I'd very much like to have some changes in everyday breakfast though.

We booked a superior double and it was a really nice and spacious room at ground floor, with direct exit in the back garden. Pity the weather was not very inviting to sit outside :-)) The breakfast was good, a bit limited with choices but for such a boutique hotel it was actually not bad. The service was really good, the whole personnel is very helpful, friendly and smiling! Parking is a real plus, for less than half the price you pay in this city. Location is very good, short drive to the old city or a half an hour walk. Quiet neighborhood, with an italian and a japanese restaurant very close by.

The bathroom in our room had one step up. In the first day, until we got used to it, it was a bit of a challenge stepping down to the room level, even if they have put a notice on the door :-))). I guess they had no choice when they modernized the bathroom and it's not really a complaint.

Hands down the best part of this facility are the people. They are very traditional hospitality folks and made sure any inconvenience was made up for otherwise. Very kind and made us feel welcome. The beds were very comfortable, rooms were big, everything was extremely clean, and we slept great.

The property itself is in a very quiet and safe area, but if you walk from the train station, Google takes you through the Bahnhofsviertel. It’s very brief - a very small area. So just walk sprightly or avoid it by going up/ down a block. I’m not against fun, but it doesn’t feel safe walking through there.

The staff was very friendly and willing to help at any time. The hotel was in a very peaceful and beautiful area. The room was bigger than expected with all necessary amenities and a very nice view.

Unfortunately, we had to take our breakfast in the room due to a dining room renovation, which was not comfortable as there was not a proper table or seating for this. The breakfast options were rather basic but very decent.

The room was nice and spacious. The bathroom was a little small, but had everything that was needed. It was nice that it was possible to regulate the temperature from the main radiator by myself. Breakfast was delicious and seemed plentiful, and the dining room downstairs was very cute and cozy. I liked the fact that the room was quite large and I felt like I was living in someone's nice apartment rather than a hotel. The staff were also kind and responsive and I appreciated the fact that they made it easy to check in early. The internet worked very well, much better than in another chain hotel which I had stayed in in Frankfurt.

I wish there had been instructions on how to use the in-room safe (it seemed a bit old) and that it was possible to keep the main bedroom window ajar - I could only either keep it completely closed or open (which risked a draft). Also, the bed was not very comfortable (hard with some springs coming out) - but when I told the front desk staff, they said that they would fix it right away, which I appreciated.

The hotel is very charming and beautiful, with a private garden in the back that you can eat breakfast in. They were very accomodating and let me have my breakfast a day early as I had an early check-out the next day. 24/7 desk service is very helpful. The breakfast was delicious and very well decorated/organized. The room was clean and had powerful air conditioning.

The rooms are definitely European size but still had plenty of space and a nice desk in the superior single.

Lovely little quiet hotel with nice staff in close proximity to train station and many attractions in the city centre. It was walkable but several times we used scooters to reach the centre and old town faster. Our room was rather small (on top floor), but the bed was comfortable and shower good, so all in all we were very satisfied. Breakfast was good, but a little less than we expected; they made coffee upon request - this was delicious, thanks! Pro TIP: ask the hotel staff which area/streets to avoid and you are going to enjoy your stay in Frankfurt without having to meet many homeless or drug addicts.

Unfortunately it was rainy during our stay, so we couldn't use the outside terrace in the back of the hotel to enjoy the morning coffee.
