Nice Hotel for families with big and clean rooms. The kids loved the bunk beds and they had a small book corner/chill area !!! The hotek is rather close to city center and close to the Miniaturwelten.

Their restaurant… breakfast was ok but you had to wait quite long before getting a table and a reservation was not possible. Same thing in the evening, the restaurant wasn’t full at 8pm, but their kitchen was not able to serve us. Service at the bar was quite poor as well. Quite disappointing when all the other restaurants in the area are closing around 9pm and your kids are hungy when arriving.

Breakfast was self service from several counters. had excellent variety, warm and cold food, cereals, fruit, and fresh bread. Drinks plus re-fills available, coffee, tea, juice water etc. Tables clean and serviced by staff. Good bar available accessed via dining area. Location was near to railway station, city centre, river frontage, shopping, museums and several main attractions all within 10-25min walking. Area did not appear to be threatening at all times of day/night.

A choice of Gluten-free options did not appear to be advertised.

Amazing hotel, location was perfect for Ironman if you're thinking of doing it (only 15 mins walk to transition). Lovely bars (including rooftop!) and very cool aesthetics. Lots of nice restaurants right next door, but also easy to walk in to the centre of the town for loads more. Room was good and despite a busy road outside you couldn't hear anything when the window was shut. We used the car park which was linked to the hotel so very convenient for us. Staff were great and always really friendly. My boyfriend needed to do a work presentation whilst we were away and the wifi was brilliant and he had no problems. Would definitely stay again!

Nothing major but a few considerations for the hotel: There was a lack of storage in the rooms just an open hanging rail, lack of appliances (kettle etc.) and please get rid of the hanging magazine holder by the bed - this knocked my side table stuff over several times! If you are vegan there is not much on offer for breakfast either, something for the hotel to consider :) Also using the public car park within the designated hotel section doesn't get you any discount, which is a shame as it does add up.

The Hotel was located at a very central location, with convenient bus links to the center of town and to the old tunnel under the Elbe. The rooms are spacious and clean, and the interior design is lovely - I especially liked the little miniature scenes right in front of the elevator banks. The bed was also very comfortable and easy to fall asleep in.

The Hotel's bus links, although convenient for people interested in visiting the city itself and its main tourist attractions, did not suit me well for the convention I attended (Eurofurence 28). Although there was also a subway station a 10 minutes walk away, it was hard to reach due to ongoing construction works at the time. The bathroom had no shampoo at all, so I had to substitute with the hair and body wash, which was located rather inconveniently in the sink. The towels were also located awkwardly, in a way that almost guaranteed I'd splash water around when exiting the shower. The room I booked, No. 430, did not have a closet. The selection of channels on the television was rather narrow - it mostly consisted of the main German networks, as well as CNN and BBC world news.

Location! If you're going to Miniature Wunderland this is the place. Fantastic location. As well, the room was really comfy and well laid out. The extra bed for my 7-year old was perfect. And breakfast was great.

Only complaint is the AC didn't work and it was 25 celsius in the room at night. Fortunately the front desk had a fan, otherwise it would have been very unpleasant. Ps. To the Germans, a humid 25C room is hot. Please just accept this. Climate change is real and Germany is having hotter summers. AC can be powered by renewables- it does not create CO2 itself- it is the fuel used to generate electricity that is the issue. So please skip the lectures about carbon emissions and blaming the USA for everything that I get whenever I tell a German that it's hot. I'll also skip my retort about the dumb decision you guys made shutting down your nuclear power plants and relying on Russia for oil and gas instead. Rant over.

It is 9 mins walking to KLU university and about 15mins walking to the city centre. Additionally there is a bus stop directly in front of the hotel making transit to and from the train/bus station very convenient. There's a cinema next door and several restaurants and a grocery very close by. The rooms were larger than I expected and staff was very professional and kind.

The weather and grey skys in Hamburg but the hotel can't fix that lolz

The staff were very good, some of them exceptional. The location was perfect in a quiet area with lots of restaurants nearby and a bus into the centre right outside. The public rooms were quirky and fun and kept very clean. I liked the on-site tuck-shop. Our room was comfortable and quiet and the shower was good and powerful.

There were some niggly things wrong with our room, for instance the room was dark. There was no overhead light and one of the lamps didn't work. Conversely when we wanted it dark for sleeping there was light leaking in around the curtains and from the aircon panel, and the fire alarm was flashing above the bed. The room had the modern issue that the dressing table and mirror has been replaced by a work desk and TV, so there is nowhere to sit down to do hair and make-up.

We had a great stay at Pierdrei Hotel Hamburg. All the facilities were very clean and the staff were friendly and approachable. We also had a really nice view of the street and the surrounding architecture on the fifth floor. The decoration is unique which makes this stand out more than other hotels I’ve stayed in, in a similar price range. There’s a bus stop right outside which made transportation easy, especially in the cold winter. Once we’d checked out of the hotel, I realised I’d left my hat in the room and the hotel sent it back super quickly which was really nice. I would recommend staying here if you’re visiting Hamburg.

Our children sad - it was the best hotel they had ever stayed. We had a wonderful family room where children had Bunk bed inside the beautiful wooden house 🙀 and windowsill 1 meter wide with colourful Mattress and pillows 🤩. We could not persuade them to go out - they really wanted to play in the room. Location also very good in a beautiful area close to two museums - Miniatur Wunderland and Internationales Maritimes Museum. We didn’t have breakfast in the hotel - but restaurant looked very nice. Personal was also nice and friendly. I would definitely recommend to stay there.

Every thing was good

What a fantastic expereince. It goes without saying that the location, fascilities etc were above fine, but for us what made the difference was the special "touch"- personable yet professional staff, cool design, beautiful branding that shped not just design and looks, but also the choice of words in all communications. We will definitely come back.

More options in the Späti, including also some healthy snacks maybe dairy. Like in a mini-market (and not just chips and the likes). Room service.
