The twin room we booked was very spacious for our needs and super clean. We loved the beds as the sheets felt so plush and luxurious, and the blackout curtains were very good - we had the best sleep! We liked all the storage space around the room, the shelving, and table space in both the bathroom and room - it's these things that make all the difference to a stay. We also liked the sauna (mixed and female) - the change room area was large with lots of towels available and a bathroom. The female change room led to a female only sauna, outside of which there was another door to the mixed sauna (which the male change room also leads to) so it's all separated. We appreciated the fridge and kettle as we stayed here for a few days. We'd definitely stay again.

Location is fantastic if you know your way around HH. Walking distance to all essential outlets (supermarkets, shops, cafes/bars etc...). With the Alster just a 10 minute walk away we got to relive memories from our previous life in HH.

The price for the breakfast was far too much considering it was a traditional buffet. Range of options of course but no different to what I would expect for a cheaper accommodation. The parking fees were also expensive however as someone who knows HH, it is a true reflection on a parking lot located in the heart of HH. But was hoping for more of a discount for guests.

I liked the location, easily walkable to many different sites in the city and with close access to public transit. There was water and coffee provided in the room. There was also a water fountain downstairs in the gym that I used to refill the water bottle. The front desk was able to help schedule a taxi to and from the airport. There were bikes on site to rent and a nice outdoor space with a water fountain you could sit at. The shampoo and conditioner in the bathroom also smelled very good which was a nice bonus.

The beds were a bit soft for my preference but still overall comfortable.

Loved my stay at Scandic Emporio! I was in room 101—stylish, super clean, with tons of windows (but blackout curtains made it perfect for sleeping). The bed was really comfy with great pillows and a cozy comforter. Nice extras too, like free drinks in the mini fridge and a coffee machine with everything you need for a great coffee or hot chocolate. Breakfast was amazing—huge variety: cereals, fruit, cold cuts, eggs, waffles, you name it. All the staff were super friendly and welcoming. The location is unbeatable—right in the city center and close to the subway. Would absolutely stay here again!

Only minor downside: Wi-Fi was a bit weak in my room, probably because it was in a corner. There’s no full restaurant in the hotel, but they do have a convenient little shop in the lobby with sandwiches, snacks, drinks, and essentials you might’ve forgotten.

Well first that would be Jan, he was a great host. Jan, very kind regards from Loes and Ruud from room 218. Jan had a pleasant and more importantly authentic manner when helping us on our way in Hamburg, finding nice places to eat, answering all our questions, joining in on the jokes and banter. It was always nice to be greeted by Jan when we walked through the lobby, and we we're glad he was working when we left to say goodbye. That's the job of course, but Jan excelled in it in a completely sincere way. Jan is a fantastic host to have in any hotel. We were also tremendously happy with the quality of the beds! The rooms were properly soundproofed, which helped in combination with the beds, we slept great. The cleaning service was great. The bathroom was clean, and spacious enough for the price level, except that the toilet and shower were in the same bathroom instead of separated. Not a disaster by any means though.

The TV didn't really have any streaming options, which wouldn't be too bad if all the channels weren't in German. Some English-language channels and/or optional streaming service in English would have been nice. But this is a very minor issue which didn't really hamper our enjoyment as we weren't in Hamburg to watch TV of course! The airco-switch in the room didn't seem to do much.

I have stayed at your hotel for the fourth time in a row. And every time I admire the amenities, the interior of the room and the lounge area for guests. Every time I stay at your hotel, every time I am convinced that I have made the right choice. During the day you can have a snack and enjoy your rest in the lounge area and this is included in the price of the room. And the breakfast exceeds all expectations in terms of the abundance of dishes. Thank you to the administration. You are the best hotel in Hamburg.

Probably the most comfortable hotel I've stayed at. I particularly like their approach to clean the room on request rather than every day, saves a lot of water and such. Large screen Smart TV, with a little hdmi extension which makes it super easy to connect, shower didn't leak water all over the place, good lights for chilling, good drapes to block as much sun as you want. The staff were very friendly, relaxed and kind, will definitely go again. The gym was actually usable and free of charge, with a bench and dumbbells, a very smooth leg extension / leg curl machine, cables and a pull up bar, although it got a little hot.

Gym could use some colder air conditioning. The tv was to the side and not in front of the bed, I couldn't understand why.

Location, room size, staff.

It was to hot, the cooling system didn't work propery.

Great location. Clean and comfy rooms. Kind and helpful and honest staff. Great breakfast, especially if you have kids. Good Gym. Pet friendly.

Not really a dislike but a slight inconvenience given current underground parking situation where the system used to allocate parking spaces is under construction or being re vamped. Hence, you might find yourself without parking directly beneath the hotel but around the hotel instead. But this will settle in and be managed a lot better in the coming months.

The location of hotel was great, just in the center very close to metro. Breakfest were also perfect, there was a bit from everything, all with good qualitty. Room and hotel were very clean, personal was very accesibble andeasy to deal with.

It is a shame that in hotel, there they do not offer any dinner. So we have to go out. This is not a problem as in neirbourghood, there is a lot, but I can imagine to have a dinner there as well. On the other hand it seems a kind of standard, my friends stayed in other hotel and it was also without option to have a dinner.
