The room is gorgeous in an amazing location right next to the main Old City and Public transportation stop at Bismarckplatz. The bathroom was second to none with a full tub and full shower and big vaulted ceilings.

If it’s hot outside you need to know that this hotel has NO Air Conditioning, which wasn’t advertised and we showed up during a record heatwave. Be careful, it became dangerously hot in the room.

As always, our room had been available for check in before the official times. This is great for flexible travel! Staff is amazing and very helpful! The hotel is situated perfectly right next to Bismarckplatz with access to a lot of transportation and the entrance to the old town.

No air conditioning but staff had prepared cooling fans.

Convenient location right at the city center. Friendly staff. Parking available for 16 euro/night and they could let me keep my car there until the next day afternoon which saved me a hassle of finding and paying for another parking on the next day (even after I checked out).

WiFi connection was extremely poor. I had to open the room door ajar to get connected. But even then, it constantly dropped out until I finally gave up. Maybe it has to do with the room being at the top floor and poor WiFi signal there.

The room and the bathroom were spacious and the bed comfortable. Since we stayed over Easter and the staff left a message that there were some some chocolate eggs hidden in the public areas, which was a very nice surprise. The hotel is in the middle of the downtown, with lots of restaurants and shops within walking distance. There are several public parkings nearby, so even if the parking from the hotel is unavailable, you always have other options.

The hotel is in a busy street in front of a tram station, and despite the sound proofing it was hard to sleep with the noise. But they do leave some ear plugs available in the reception. The receptionist is there for very limited hours, otherwise there is only a machine for check-in, check-out and a telephone for "extreme emergencies". In one of the rooms we booked the toilet didn't flush, and when we complained they said they were fully booked, so we should either share the toilet from one room or use the public toilet, which is not what we expected at all... In the end, a financial compensation was offered.

Appreciated being able to check in 5 hours early as we had arrived in Frankfurt via overnight flight. Also, room was quiet and breakfast buffet and coffee choices were superb. Finally, location could not have been better as it was within 2 blocks of the historic Old Town.

Amazing experience! Checking in was a bit confusing because the counter is in a building different from where our room was but that was just a 1 minute walk. The room itself seemed brand-new, with high ceilings and wonderful amenities. We also appreciated the little things that made us feel like home: separate blankets, a water bottle, toiletries… The only thing missing may be an air condition but they are not that common in Germany. Overall, we’d love to come again!

Location was perfect, as I was travelling to the University of Heidelberg it was just a 15 min walk. The breakfast was superb. One of the best I encountered in Germany. The room was generally rather clean. I was offered a restaurant voucher for the lack of room service, which was a perfect and eco option.

TV was not working, but as I have been working until evening it was not possible to inform the staff about that.

Very beautiful Hotel with a spacious and clean room. The best location you could get in the heart of the city centre and very well connected by tram with the Train station.

The only problem we had during our stay was that the heating was turned off and the room was cold, there was no one at the reception at night to report it. The Wi-fi didn't work as well.

Super excellent location just 2 minutes from old town and tram/ buses opposite to hotel...rooms big and very nicely furnished. Professional staff.

We had three rooms and in one of the rooms they did not do the cleaning/change towels ... however the overall stay was great so would definitely book this hotel again.

A great value for the money. Located in the very central point, the hotel offers affordable rooms. No problems with the noise from outside. The building interior is nice and vintage, the rooms are more modern.

My room had a strong sweet smell, and the window was too small to vent it. Plumbing required calc removal. Unstable wifi. The outer door requires a card to be opened throughout the day-very puzzling for the arrivals.
