We were given an accessible room which we didn’t request to require. (Not a problem so I thought) The bed was a lift bed and was very firm and uncomfortable. Only 1 side was a lift bed and the other side was not. Meaning there was a difference in heights of the beds which was really awkward to sleep on. Other than the bed situation, the place was fantastic. The indoor pool was clean and warm. There is also an outside are where you can lay in the sun which I did. Food was delicious. From the buffet breakfast. roof top garden to the Altrium downstairs. I would definitely stay here again.

My mother is handicapped and they upgraded us to a suite to accommodate her needs. This was so appreciated. The room was incredibly beautiful, comfortable and spacious. We reserved a total of 4 rooms for my family and all of us were happy with our rooms. The staff was so friendly and helpful. There was construction at the entrance but the hotel was helpful to let us know all of this in advance. The location of the hotel was incredible just a 5 min walk to Marianplatz. There was a shopping center and grocery store nearby for all of our needs. We had a wonderful stay and I would definitely stay here again!!!

Although the main lobby was closed and things got shifted around, it still was an excellent stay! The staff were wonderful and the room was really nice! It had everything I wanted and more. One thing I noticed was that when I left in the morning and had hung the “make up room” tag, I always returned with the room made up! Not so with many of the competitors, in Munich and abroad.

Not much other than the work going on refurbishing the lobby. I didn’t even hear anything in my room.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Bayerischer Hotel in Munich, and I must say, it was a fantastic experience. The room I stayed in was spacious and comfortable, providing plenty of room to relax after a day of exploring the city. The hotel's location is another highlight. It's conveniently situated near the city center, making it easy to access all the major attractions, restaurants, and shops. I loved being able to step out and immerse myself in the vibrant atmosphere of Munich. What truly made my stay memorable was the staff. They were incredibly welcoming and attentive, always ready to assist with a smile. Their friendly demeanor made me feel right at home. Overall, I highly recommend Bayerischer Hotel for anyone looking for a comfortable stay in Munich with great service and a prime location.

It is central and beautiful. The concierges, reception staff, bar staff, breakfast waiters, housekeepers were all extremely helpful and courteous. The rooms were nice. The more recently refurbished rooms were very nicely done.

The breakfast room felt cramped at times with too many guests for the room. The lifts are few and small. There was building work taking place on our floor which was an inconvenience. Our first room had a leak in the ceiling so we had to move rooms. The hotel offered a not very generous compensation for the disturbance and inconvenience. However, none of these was a major issue.

The room was amazing. Really spacious, quiet, good quality furniture and the bathroom was excellent. The hotel itself was very big and spacious and the shared areas weee exceptionally clean

The shower had an orange mould on the shower door and the shower wall. I wouldn’t have expected that on a hotel of this cost. There was also a day where they didn’t even clean the room, when they did make the bed it wasn’t done cleanly and pristinely, more shuffled the duvet around so it looked tidier

Location and history, plus the pool. I was able to checkin early which helped a lot with my schedule.

The current renovation works were not shared prior to the booking, and the spa and gym were closed for a private function and hence not available. The pool was very difficult to find and staff could not explain how to get to there. A guest showed me the way via level 5 using the emergency exit of the pool.

The rooms are beautiful and the facilities are impressive. Housekeeping did a wonderful job keeping the room impeccable and clean. Walking into the hotel you feel transported to a bygone era. I love all the facilities and restaurants available within the hotel itself. The rooftop bar was impressive.

You couldn’t stream from a mobile device (iPad) Netflix or Prime. There was no English Channel that broadcasted entertainment shows in English and the pay movies were very old and cost 22,50 euro - not very good value for money. The breakfast buffet whilst impressive was not good value for money.

We were meant to only be in Munich for two nights before travelling to Austria on our honeymoon, and had to find a hotel for an additional two nights on short notice when a snow storm hit and stopped transport. Whilst we were disappointed to not make it to Austria in the end, our stay at Bayerischer Hof was absolutely lovely. The hotel is beautiful, in a great location, very helpful and welcoming staff, our room was so comfortable and there are great bar and dining facilities on-site. Special mention to Martina Pupelle who checked us in and made us feel very welcome after the disappointment of not getting to Austria and having dragged our suitcases through the snow from our original hotel.

The hotel is very well located, has great views The room we had was in the heritage wing and were very nice We had a unfortunate incidence of a sofa breaking in the bar, but was very well handled by the GM of the hotel The Hotel has a lot of history, very grand building , has a lot of character

We were a bit surprised for the tariff of this stay that they did not provide breakfast Considering that we stayed in similar hotels in other parts of Germany , we thought this was over priced We had an unfortunate incidence of the sofa in the roof top bar breaking , which brought both our friends crashing to the ground.
