Good location. Well equipped kitchenette.

Only small plates, no full sized dinner plates. The coffee cups had no handles. Young people may find this trendy, but us oldies think it is silly.

This Aparthotel as great. Well furnished, great layout. You get more than a hotel room but not quite a full apartment but with all the ammenities like a small kitchen, living room and bedroom combined. Surprisingly it worked. There is also a shared laundry space which is welcome. The staff are very friendly, speak English and eager to help. Clean, comfortable, recommended.

I wasn’t sure about the location. I booked in winter and it got dark about 4pm and freezing. I didn’t feel that safe waking along the street of the hotel toward the main part of town but the other end was great and full of restaurants and generally an interesting area.

- Great gym. Most hotels have a "gym" that is a stationary bike and a treadmill. This one has a bar, dumbbells, kettlebells, boxing and others. It also had some speakers that you could connect with Bluetooth to have your own music in the space - Friendly staff, open to any questions - Relatively spacious for the money paid (a small equipped kitchen, a balcony, a couch) - Good shower - Dishwasher - Dark curtains and room - No noise from other rooms - Laundry room in the hotel - One supermarket within 5-min walk

- The location is close to the center, but does not have too many restaurants in the neighborhood. There are quite a few Afghan places, but we do not like that type of food. There was one street nearby that looked dodgy

Very close to Theresienweise U-Bahn train station this place was ideal to stay for accessing all of Munichs tourist sites. Also would be a great place to work from, with areas set up for this. We loved the outdoor courtyard and was a good place to relax prior to our rooms being available. Rooms were compact but having kitchen/microwave/fridge/dishwasher was great as we could buy breakfast and enjoy on the balcony. Free laundry machines, combo washer/dryer to use with soap provided. Other thoughtful touches like providing laundry racks appreciated. Great service from Mo on arrival. Opera performance one evening was special. Clean rooms and quiet, could not want for much more.

Absolutely loved my stay in this amazing studio apartment. It was a great size, very clean, super quiet given the location street side - soundproofing works very well, cozy, comfortable, perfectly located 10 - 12 minutes walk from Munich Hbf & about 20 to Altstadt. Apartment is well fitted out, very comfy bed & has the best shower / hot water pressure. Given how well organised & run this place is, I didn't need to interact too much with the staff, but when I did they were all super friendly. Highly recommend as an option for your Munich stay, I would definitely stay again. Only very slight 'con' is no English TV channel other than news. But I just put some music on instead.

I visited Munich for work from May 1-11, 2025 and stayed at Schwan Locke for the entirety of my trip. As a late 30’s woman traveling alone and to Munich for the first time, I wasn’t always sure what to do or how to navigate the city. The staff at Schwann Locke were so incredibly helpful, with everything from figuring out how to navigate things in my apartment that were new to me (laundry, lighting, towel rack), to finding restaurants, to purchasing train tickets, to helping me figure out what souvenirs I might being home as gifts. They were kind, patient, and knowledgeable about the city. While everyone on staff helped, I also want to single out a few members of their team who were especially supportive. First, Stefan and Demis were often present in the afternoons and evenings during my trip. Their level of hospitality cannot be matched, and I’ve never stayed anywhere in my years of international travel where I experienced such a high level of courtesy and care. In addition, Dejan, one of the staff members who regularly worked overnight, was equally hospitable and made me feel very safe staying there. Like Stefan and Demis, Dejan was also incredibly thoughtful in his recommendations and conversation. Schwan Locke has someone in the lobby area 24 hours a day, so if there is anything a guest needs or any issues, someone is there to help. From my experience, Dejan was there most evenings. While I didn’t frequently come home late, I did have some very early mornings and I was always pleasantly greeted. I also got help arranging an early morning taxi ride to the airport. Throughout my stay, I spent a decent amount of time in the lobby area and also saw the Schwan Locke staff interact with lots of other guests. They were always polite, professional, patient, and helpful. In other words, I don’t think my experience there was unique compared to other guests, and yet, it was incredibly unique to me when compared to other places I’ve stayed. Rooms were also wonderful.

The reception staff were very kind, and I would like to thank both ladies very much. Even though I arrived early for check-in, they allowed me to park my car in the car park and check in early. After a long journey, this was wonderful for me. The facility is brand new, and the rooms were amazingly compact and functional. The fitness centre and laundry facilities were free of charge. The car park was spacious enough even for those with larger vehicles like mine. The facility is a 20-minute walk from the centre of Munich, and our stay was very enjoyable. I visit Munich every year, and from now on, I will only stay here. I highly recommend it!

Hotel with amazing design and very nice allocation close to the main railway station and variety of halal restaurants and grocery stores. We really were surprised with nice courtyard and interior of the hotel: it very smart planned and modern. Rooms are very spacious and equipped with everything needed for staying, as well we were surprised with nice kitchen equipment. Staff have supported us with all inquiries, reception ladies were absolutely pleasant and nice! We would love to stay here again.

No AC was a bit issue, because our windows overlooked streets which was noisy due to contraction and busy traffic since early morning.

It was well designed and equipped apart-hotel , the room was fantastic, we had our small dog with us who was happy. The fit out of the room and equipment made our stay comfortable. The location was good (for October fest and nice neighbourhoody cafes and restaurants) otherwise 30 mins walk to the city.

We have a fairly large car and should have told this to the reception when booking. We had to squeeze in the tiniest space allocated for us. Also please amend the notice in the lift for guests about the self service in the bar downstairs. We got kid of told off when we “helped “ ourselves to the beer in the fridge intending to of course pay for it. Though the apartment was clean at a first glance the floor was dusty when walking barefoot and the housekeepers could pay attention to the smudges on the walls. It should be easily wiped or touched up. It was a shame it spoiled the obral great feel .

Great location within walking distance to the main Train Station and many of Munich's attractions such as the old city with its churches and Beer Halls. Very comfortable, lots of room and the cooking facilities are a bonus.

The combination microwave /oven toaster had no instructions so we never used it. Not a big deal as the hotplate and pots and pans provided were sufficient for us.
