Beautifully styled boutique hotel in town. Spacious (in our case split level) room with kitchen facilities and small private terrace where also breakfast is served. Comfortable bed with great quality perkal bed linen! Free parking nearby.

We may be old school, but really prefer a reception / host to talk to when we stay in a hotel. Inotropes maintains an online communication approach, which may be efficient but also is quite impersonal, certainly for a hotel of this standard (and at this price level). We want to emphasize that breakfast was served by a lovely staff member! What we missed is a personal welcome - even online - with a name / face and number of a goto person; we now had to find our way around.

We had a lovely stay in this hotel. It is perfect for a stopover in Archanes for one or two nights. The staff was very friendly and attentive and the breakfast that is proposed as an option is really worth it. The hotel is a few minutes distance from the city center which makes it really convenient with a private parking available.

We struggled a bit with the lights and AC system in the room with a bit complicated control panel. But that is really a detail compared to the beauty and charm of the place.

Expectations are totally met by the pictures, the courtyard is stunning and the suite we chose was beautiful. Check in was virtual and easy, breakfast was great. We stayed as we had an early flight from HER the next morning but didn't want an airport hotel - we are so happy we came!

The surrounding area is very local and still under construction - no problem but it's good to be aware of it as we hadn't arranged for parking and probably should have! Sound insulation wasn't perfect as we could hear a washing machine but it didn't spoil our stay whatsoever.

A surprisingly beautiful hidden location in colourful Archanes. Surrounded in the green you're warmly greeted by a serene but carefully thought out 'home away from home' where, after a day of hiking or sightseeing, you can relax in a little secluded jacuzzi to expell the strain of the day. A comfortable bed to fall asleep and wake up in followed by a delicious breakfast to kickstart your day full of activities. Should you come short of something, the host will attend to your every need with a big and warm smile.

Sometimes there can be a bit of noise from the streets.

Very stylish and modern room but also very quiet, although the six rooms were in a building in the centre of a small town. We were on the ground floor in Dorippi room. Excellent value. Archanes is a nice town with a lovely main square and some good tavernas. Hotel had a small parking area but we parked in the street outside.

Limited outside space, our room didn't have any dedicated outside seating. We ate breakfast in a small covered lounge area. Breakfast was a bit disappointing, it felt a bit pre-packaged compared to others we have had in Crete. We were greeted by (we presume) the owner but otherwise most of the time there was no staff there, the lady who cleaned the rooms also prepared breakfast so after the initial greeting it felt a little impersonal.

The room we stayed in was incredibly cozy yet spacious. The attention to detail in the design is beautiful, especially the lighting, which truly captures the essence of a vacation in a mountain village. The owner was exceptionally kind, helping me celebrate my wife's birthday by providing a cake and candle, along with an excellent breakfast. I highly recommend this place!

The appartement is spacious and well designed, especially the lightening is well thought out. There are several good and authentic restaurants and stores in walking distance. Good hotel for the first/last nights if you arrive at Heraklion, since it is only about 20 min to the airport.

The code for the front door was changed during the day and we did not get any message regarding it. But the problem was solved immediately by calling them, so not really a big issue.

Breakfast was good and the location was quiet. Parking is just on the side of a building and was not enough for a couple of nights so we parked the street. Town is quiet which good restaurants within walking distance and groceries. The staff was friendly but I am not sure the hotel should be open during the holidays if the staff don't want to work during the holidays. Bed was comfortable.

Hot tub does not operate in the winter...which doesn't really make sense. Fire place used a liquid fuel which quickly ran out. Shower needed to be deep cleaned.

Wow! We were very pleasantly surprised by how new, modern, quiet and comfortable this place was. Brand new lovely suites in the heart of Archanes with private parking nearby. Six suites, three upstairs and three below. We were downstairs in a junior suite, great shower. Next time I would like to try an upstairs larger suite. The entire place is beautifully designed and decorated with keypads for outside and room entry. Breakfast was good but we would have liked a little variety by the third day. Archanes has good restaurants and good hiking nearby. We liked it so much we extended our stay by a day.

Elegantly restored old property in central Archanes. Walking distance to entire town. Beautiful and very modern renovation with excellent A/C and bathroom facilities. Very good breakfast and friendly helpful staff who all speak English quite well.
