I was very happy with the apartment and its location. An easy 10-15 minute walk into the centre of Old Town and the port, and there are nice, local restaurants and supermarkets right on the doorstep. I felt safe walking back at night. The apartment I stayed in was at the rear of the property so it was very quiet. Maybe other apartments facing the street might be affected by traffic noise but mine wasn't. There's no view from the balcony but it gets lots of morning sunshine and was still pleasant to sit out there in the afternoons (with the exception of the noisy pump – see comments below!).

The kitchen was fine, but a few more utensils like a spatula, decent paring knife and a chopping board would be useful. There's a kindergarten located on the ground floor of the building and it had some kind of generator or pump that was very noisy throughout the day and night. I used earplugs at night, but it still affected the calm and quiet enjoyment of the place. The retractable fly screen needs fixing, and there are numerous dirty scuff marks on the walls which should be cleaned off as it makes the place look a bit shabby, which is a shame because it is otherwise a lovely apartment and I would happily stay there again.

The apartment was nice & clean, everything we needed. we used it for a base for travelling around Crete. The communication with the office that dealt with enquiries was fantastic. would definitely stay here again !!! must add that we were travelling by motorbike so didn't use the public transport. the hop on hop off bus does stop right outside. Good for sight seeing x

We didn't choose to use the in house cleaners, as we really didn't need them as we wasn't there most days. it would be a good idea to have a broom/dustpan & brush and maybe some extra bin bags kept in the apartment. other than this, it was great 👍

The flat, the comfortable bed, the modern amenities in the flat, the small balcony to sit outside. Very good value and quite close to the centre. The communication was excellent and we liked the check-in and checkout process.

There is a pizza restaurant on the ground floor and the strong smell of pizza when you enter and on the floors above is a big handicap. Luckily, the room smelt good. We chose this apartment over the other address that Raise Heraklion has in town due to the cooking facilities. The facilities was so meagre (1 flame hob, less than basic cooking facilities, crockery and cutlery) that we had to eat out at all times apart from making tea. It would be good to have a microwave as a minimum.

The bed was really soft and comfortable. There was a powerful hairdryer. The check-in is contactless and the property contacted us on multiple occasions to inform us about every little detail of our stay. The terrace is great and has table with chairs for chilling. The room is not really big, but it was clean, tidy and had everything needed. The toaster came in handy. The rooms are located on the first floor and there isn't a lift, for those who need it, but for us it was not a problem - writing this just in case someone is wondering. The location is great (15 min walk from the center). The whole facility is quite new. There is also a storage room.

The only thing is that there were only two of every kitchen utensil and there wasn't a rack to put the dishes when washed. It is not a problem, of course, just a recommendation. There were a few pubic hairs left around the toilet, but overall it was clean.

A comfortable size to spend a few nights. Very clean and the bed was comfortable. Only 15 minute walk and you were in the heart of restaurants and bars. The pizza shop at the bottom of the building was absolutely delicious and handy when we couldn’t be bothered walking anywhere!

It’s quite noisy when there are guests that don’t care about the time. Doesn’t seem well insulated therefore you hear doors banging constantly. A few times we had people talking very loudly on the stairs which were right outside our room. Not the hotels fault, it’s people being rude and not caring about other guests. If you are sensitive to noise maybe request that you’re away from the stairwell.

Well designed, comfortable bed, good shower, well equipt kitchen. Just a 7 min walk to the outer edge of old town. A 30 min walk from the port and a 25 min walk from bus station, both at a gradual upward incline. Well priced grocery store diagonally across the road.

Not much not to like. If I had to say something, there is no hand held bidet next to the pot in the bathroom. If you are coming with heavy bags be aware that it is on the 1st floor and there is no elevator. No daily cleaning. All in all a very comfortable stay.

It was close to the airport, and had some nearby supermarket and some restaurants The room is nice, very clean The hosts were very particular in how to access the room and helped with keeping the baggage when I needed to

It's a bit far from a bus station when coming from the airport The restaurants nearby are quite mediocre to be honest Nothing to do nearby, beaches are quite far away, you need to have a car to explore the real Crete, which is not nearby I got assigned a room, no11, and it was right above a nursery, I woke up to kids screaming and yelling very early on! It eas quite annoying The room in the images was a BIT misleading, it was smaller than advertised

This was the best accommodation during our trip to Greece. The apartment is new, well equipped, clean and rather spacious. There is a large balcony. They give you a code to access the room - no keys, no scheduling the meeting with the owner which is very convenient. Also, they have a luggage room: we used it before check in and after check out. There is a nice pizza restaurant on the ground floor.

Check in time is a bit late (3 PM), check out is a bit earlier (11 AM) than usual. But it's fine given that there is a luggage storage room.

Our stay here was a very pleasant surprise. We booked last minute, just needing one night in Heraklion. The room was about 3 times as large as any in the similar price range, but at the same time, the whole space was very modern and comfortable. Rainfall showerhead, nespresso machine, full cooking facilities, and a large bed and balcony. Also, we were very surprised at how soundproofed the room is, given how central it is. Helpful and very easy communication from the host, and everything from luggage storage to check-in/check-out is done electronically. Very easy and comfortable, would definitely stay here again.

Very clean, with excellent facilities. Check-in was easy when we received the door code. The accommodation is in an excellent location, near to shops, restaurants and tourist attractions. The host was supportive when we initially hadn't received the door codes.

There was such a short delay between our making the booking and arriving at the apartments that we hadn't received the codes when we reached the front door. This resulted from our having to make the booking from Heraklion Airport at zero notice due to a flight being cancelled at the last moment (clearly not the fault of the host!). However, we contacted the host on the phone number supplied. After a slight delay getting through, we received the code and were talked through the process until we arrived in our room. Bed was a bit too soft for me but facilities otherwise excellent.
